From my little understanding of economics and mathematics. If GDP was 7% growth in 2005 and 7% growth in 2014, it does not mean retrogression or rather stagnancy.

I can explain it like if i have 50,000 Naira in 2004 and in 2005 i made 5000 Naira, that's a 10% increase.

Also if in 2014 i have 5,000,000 Naira and in 2015 i made 500,000 Naira, that's also a 10% increase.

So in essence there is a massive increase in the base price from 50 thousand Naira in 2004 to 5 million Naira in 2014 hence i would say i have profited and developed myself from 2005 to 2014. The economy is improving.!

I'm sorry if i do not come across clearly, Economics is not my field.

Analysing the said post, all I see is cheap seeking sympathy by APC. GEJ has never quoted the death of GMB daughter or wish death on GMB. The documentary was a fact about the kind of person he is and I call on all Nigerians to disregard the post because all the strategies of APC to tarnish the personality of GEJ will not hold grounds. GEJ is a humble and gentle man. I call on all Nigerians to read the book "I have no enemies to fight" because its a collection of his quotes. The APC has disrespected the office of the president by calling him offensive names through the media, GEJ has never fought back at the APC or ban the press or media houses because he uphold the rule of law on like GMB who claims the press can be ban if its a distraction to government. I call on all Nigerians to disregard the post of APC e-Warriors because they are trying to instigate emotional outburst by GMB supporters.

So I read one post by MzNelly here on why a woman must never toast a man & I was disappointed with her reasons.

Thinkin about it, I discovered that the only one reason, in my opinion, why women like MzNelly will ever feel comfortable to toast a man is if that man is a celebrity. Isn't it ironic that when it comes to celebrities or stars, most women forget about their many reasons not to toast a man? Think about it, my people.

Why do most women (includin women lik MzNelly) who oppose the idea of women makin the 1st move of toastin a man feel it is ok to approach celebrities and toast them fearlessly or shamelessly?

Why the double standards?

I think a woman should have the courage to walk up to a man she likes and at least initiate the relationship by introducing herself instead of dying in silence. Or are women like MzNelly subconciously agreeing to the belief that women should be seen not heard?

I know its the feminine thing for women to show greenlight to a man. But what if all the greenlight in the world isnt working & u know this is a man who deserves ur love? This is the man of ur dreams. Why not take the risk? Why not take a leap of faith? Will his saying "No!" be the end of the world? Nawa o!

Besides, a man may have been burnt so many times by the "No!" "No!" "No!" of Nigerian women that he loses interest in wooing a Nigerian woman any more. No I am not in any camp but right now I would rather have Mr Ibu rule Nigeria anyone even a goat is better than GEJ. I have fully resented the power return to north agenda and I believe GEJ has had 4 years ,the power of incumbency and the highest oil revenue on record to make the power must return to the North advocates look stupid . He failed what more does he want? Is it now that oil is $40 that he wil do magic. . Now one question he asked if I am better off as a person in the last four years? My answer to that is YES. How? Roads have been re-constructed and time wastage on roads have been reduced. I ply these roads. Increased economic activity translates to improved bottom line results. Stable exchange rates, stable prices and a single digit inflation rate even in times of low oil prices - I guess he didn't notice it. Reduced food prices as a result of improving Agricultural sector. Crashed cement prices - affordable housing. Improved maternal health, reduced child birth and maternal mortality. As a creative entrepreneur, I get too many options to choose from in seeking grants (loans) from Micro Finance institutions not banks with their high interest rates. Reduced travel time (remodelled, upgraded airports) for international flights into the Eastern part of the country. YES, improved power supply and security especially here in Lagos. And so much more. Oh, increased allowee for Youth Corps members.

So YES, in four years, my life has been better off.
