My battery got swollen and i had to pack my phone with a rubber, couldn't even pick a call in public Even innjoo iikeja office couldn't provide an alternative. All options to get another battery proved abortive...until yesterday, thanks to alaba...i worked a stronger battery for 2k. So guys, faulty innjoo battery... Alaba is the way |

jhidey08: We're on the same page then, even I belong 2 Batch B. Ion think they'll suspend Batch A Stream II, they'll rather soft pedal for d Muslim Corp Members instead. And if u talk about deferment, I believe Muslims constitute more dan 40% of those dat r due to go next Monday. Now tell me if it'll not affect me and u dat r hoping 4 Batch B, cos they'll surely consider dem b4 us. Let's b honest with ourselves, it won't b easy 4 Muslims in camp. I believe they'll know how 2 go about it, that's y dey're administrators. Now this i agree with. |

Don't blame Muslims 4dis, blame NYSC and FG. It's truly not easy 2 do doze strenuous camp activities and still fast. We should b considerate. I'm not blaming muslims at all, and i don't know when I'm going, there's no talk of my batch yet, but suspending a whole batch indirectly means suspending other dates that are originally uncertain. You should be considerate too. Deferment to the next batch is the best option bro. I ain't blaming no one |

NYSC › Re: Important Information For Muslim Batch A Stream "II" PCM Going To Camp On Monday by tpyemson(m): 1:53pm On Jun 10, 2016 |
sweetgala: If they wait 30 days would they die ?
The RCCG is becoming as large as the Catholic church and Anglican commune in Nigeria and yes should be reckoned with.
However unlike lent and Ramadan which are dictates of subscribed and referenced in the bible and Qur'an which are recognized by the state as the only two holy documents of authority on Christian and Islamic life there is no pasage in the bible that states RCCG members would fast on the first 40 days of the year. They have lent for that
So to me the only recognizable periods of religious commitment are those in the bible and Qur'an You'll do well to educate me on where in the bible the 40-day lent was commanded, people have waited for a year, i had no issue but I've waited for over 7 months. Don't they work during their Ramadan? Don't they go about their usual activities? Abstinence from sin, that's the undertone behind a fast, i don't see how camp becomes such a big issue. And on your statement about rccg, i beg to disagree, the size of a church now determines whether or not the country would consider it in decision making? I thought you mentioned nigeria as multi-religious, not bi-religious! We cannot wait anymore, 7 months and no talk of batch b yet, and you're proposing a whole month delay to the batch before me. I can bet you're done with service or serving or still an undergraduate, you obviously don't know what the delay has caused |
NYSC › Re: Important Information For Muslim Batch A Stream "II" PCM Going To Camp On Monday by tpyemson(m): 1:33pm On Jun 10, 2016 |
sweetgala: Betwene you and me how many Christians in Nigeria observed lent and can you compare the fasting during lent to that of Ramadan. In parts of Europe the fast is over 16 hrs long in a 24 hr day.
The NYSC obviously did not think it through , nothing malicious but it have been better to delay the camp by 30 days .
I'm Christian and I take the Ramadan somewhat serious as a time of reflection as God has obliged us to do daily irrspective.
There are more people observing the RCCG 40 days fast than lent in Nigeria and that's a sad fact You're a Christian and you say this? The rccg fast you talked about should also be taken into consideration then whenever a national decision is to be taken. I'm a celestian and our fast should also be taken into consideration, let's take it all into consideration and see if we'll move an inch as a nation. The DG is probably a muslim and exceptions and tolerances have been announced, but they should further delay our futures by a month? I don't think you have an idea how long people have waited, plans put on hold, you don't know |
