I don't know about physical stores or whether they sell genuine Abakaliki rice. This online store ships straight from Abakaliki rice mill to customers. Good thing is you can even pay on delivery if you want. They are new but they are good.

Even the lawyers you see working in firms, how much is their salary? 25-40k. It is well sha
25-40k? You are funny. A good number of the firms around don't pay their lawyers a dime. Funny enough, the Secretary and other support staff get paid.
Most of the seniors feel they are doing you a favour by letting you stay. To them, you are acquiring experience.
Being a lawyer in Nigeria is a bad idea. The market is saturated. If conditions improve, I will bank on my LL.B to get study visa to saner climes, say Canada. That is if i really want to go into practice.

You are one of the lucky few that found a niche, when you realized the error in studying law. Many of our colleagues are still in limbo, they can't find where to belong. They sunk all their funds into law, they have no other skills and they have no proper foundation to set themselves up.

That's the worst
Dear, it is terrible. Most of my mates are still hoping on the elusive juicy brief to drop. I have seen some seniors that have spent 20 - 30 years waiting for that magical brief.
Honestly, expectations were very high on my part.

my dear, I have made it a duty to open the eyes of many, an opportunity I never had myself because I knew no one who had studied Law.

It's a very elitist profession. I thought as time goes by, I'd meet people like me that have no foundation, but are doing well. No such luck, everyone with a decent career either has a father that's a judge, or an uncle that's a lawyer, or a mother that is a law professor.

Anyway, let's thank God for life
I share your sentiments. I read law myself and haven't stopped regretting it since after NYSC.
The idea was to pursue my LL.M immediately thereafter but I thought wiser of it. I didn't see the wisdom in sinking more resources in something that has next to zero good prospects.
My new passion now is e-commerce and web development. The dream is to become a serial techpreneur sort of.
Shall I come back to the legal profession, It would be to render services to law firms and legal practitioners with the help of tech.

The option A4 served us in 1993 (for those of us born before then #smiles ) , but the truth is that the world has moved on. Adopting it again is tantamount to two steps backward and in the wrong direction. Not to mention the attendant risk and enmity it would occasion in the society. Verily i say to You, this is electronic age. Every facet of our society is going digital. All it would take is the technological know-how which i am sure we have in abundance in our country.

Cantonese:
Even with electronic voting the story will remain the same. The politicians will find ways around it. The truth is that we are not mature enough for these processes. For me option A4 adopted in 1993 remains the best. Face to face as I call it or see me I see you. It is fool proof and tamper proof. It will eliminate irregularities. The politicians know it but they will never accept because they always want to cheat.
