The post UME fee must not be more than 2,000 Naira, this time we are going to enforce it.
The minister has stated that they will try to hold the policy meeting each year before JUNE.
The Admission Policy meeting stipulates the guidelines and modalities for admission into tertiary institution for each Academic Session. Hence, no Admission into tertiary institution should be announced before the Policy Meeting.
The minister has stated that he is not against Post-UTME but the cost must not be above N2,000, and this time, they will definitely enforce it.
JAMB will now be releasing MATRICULATION LIST. Anyone who is not in that list is not a Nigerian Student. And anyone who goes ahead to attend school will not graduate.
The Minister is done with his remarks so the JAMB Registrar has now been called for his presentation.
The registrar is currently stating the essence of the Policy Meeting.... They are refering to the 2017/2018 Admission processes through CAPS and how successful it was
JAMB is supposed to be saddled withthe responsibility of Admission and Matriculation into tertiary institutions. So far JAMB has only been resposnible for Admission alone. However, JAMB will now equally take up its resposnibility of drawing up the list of students qualified for matriculation into tertary institutions each Academic year. Any student that do not make it to the JAMB Matriculation List is deemed not to have been legally admitted.
Just 41% of candidates who applied for admission last year (2017) are suitable and qualified for admission.
He's pleading for students to be flexible. According to him, student always want to read a particular course at all cost. e.g. Someone who wants to read medicine would never want the option of Pharmacy, even when given. He pointed that we need more Universities but there are some conditions to be considered before this.
About 211,742 that were admitted last year scored up to 200 and above in UTME.
ABU covered all the states in terms of admission Last Year. That is they admitted candidates from all the states.

I am not happy with my sis n dad for choosing FUTM. This is her third attempt. Last year she scored 198 to study nursing in Uni Port. Her score was nothing to write home about as uniport cut off mark was 200.


She quickly changed course n institution to microbiology n RSUST. At d end putme failed her as she did not get d required mark for d course she choose.


We(my siblings) encouraged her to choose another course that has a lower cut off this time. She accepted n we were looking forward to her getting admitted this time in RSUST as its our state university only for me to call her n she told me my dad asked her to fill FUTM that someone told him if she gets d cut off she would be given admission as if she was denied in RSUST after getting d required cut off



Now we don't know any where in Niger state. Thanks to people like u n nl for opportunity to give first hand info. The truth is I am scared of d unknown. Now u said biochemistry is hot cake over there. I don't want my sis to miss out this time. May God really have mercy on her

trust me ur sister will be admitted if only she can get 200 and above in post utme
I was not an indegine of niger state but i was admitted in d first list without connection or whatsoever with post utme score of 200 jst tell her to read and prepare for 100lvl

it depends on hw fast dis years academic calender runs as at last yr post utme exams commenced on 18 september and registeration was 2500 only maths was compulsory fr biochemistry aspirants too

she needs to score 210 in her post utme as the course is nw competitive or else they might likeky change her course to biological science or food science tech

score 190 in jamb try nd get 150 upwards in post utme nd u r good to go the course isnt that competitive over here
