I am not in support of Okada ban because of unemployment. Some people have job, yet, they lock-up their shops and write their gsm numbers on the door for any customer to call them and use the okada as an alternative job. They said okada brings more money than what they are making in their shops. The kind of daily contribution or weekly contribution they are making that have made some of them landlord at Ibafo, Mowe, Ijoko and some other suburbs can only be sustained by this job. When other states like Abuja FCT, Rivers, Cross Rivers, and many others banned Okada in the metropolis, Lagos becomes the dumping ground. Even in some states where okada has not been banned and nearby countries people come to Lagos with Okada to make money. In these states, nobody has gone to court to challenge the governor or damage government properties. Even the presence of Charly boy in Gwarinpa, Abuja does not make okada association to protest against ban on Abuja Federal roads when it was banned.

I think people are ridding on the characters of the people of the land. They are most welcome. Lagos is like any other state in Nigeria. I have not seen any benefit that is special that has been extended to Lagos except crisis management.

GSM lines are connected to FXO ports only through the GSM fixed cellular terminal adapter. FXO ports are the CO lines on PABX initially reserved for NITEL land lines and CDMA terminals in those days. VOIP and IPPBX also used FXO ports for non intranet and non IP external calls.

Firstly, what you have is a Dlink router with 8, 10/100 LAN ports. The printer with LAN port means the printer has an inbuilt print server. It does not require sharing the printer on a computer. Each computer should have an independent access to the printer. It is either you disable or enable DHCP on the router.For few systems, disable dhcp and assign static IP address to each system and printer. You can use 192.168.x .x format i.e 192.168.100.1 to 5. ping them. Check cable termination if it is done properly. You can buy 2 already terminated cables to test. Limited connectivity is when an IP address can not be obtained,conflict or poor signal along cable path to the lan port.

Ubuntu (a linux flavour )does not have anything to do with this problem. Linux partition is different from windows (NTFS, FAT or FAT32)partitions. You can not do a system repair with this type of problem as well. If the windows 7 CD is still bootable after ther the power failure. Start the system enter the setup of the computer to verify the first booting device is CD. I assume you might be doing upgrading before the failure. Insert the CD, power on the system, press enter when ask if to boot from cd and start fresh installation.

Firstly, as a system integrator of diverse experience covering active directory,router and firewall, if a workstation is in windows 2008 (r2) or even any version domain, it is easier to connect using RDP, real VNC and other 3rd party software
provided you are part of the domain or in the IP subnet of that network. From outside, you need connection to the network
which requires administrative username and password or an account that has been created for you on that system or in active directory. 127.0.0.1 is a loop back ip address which is the default IP address of all network card when an IP address has not been configured statically or by dhcp. Therefore it is not part of the subnet of the system you want to access. A full explanation is required.
