Geofavor: I think what he wanted to know is if you also use metrics like SV, CPC, CO, BL, ACR, ABY, etc. I believe that reply indicates that THERE IS NO SHORTCUT in domaining. Just like Promxy94 clearly stated few posts ago.Even if he spells out the values he looks out for in the metrics you mentioned, you do not just pick names from the top of the result. You still have to base your decision off a mixture of soft skills you must have gathered over time. If I now say newcomers should start from page 1 and read to whatever is the current page by the time they finish, before buying any name, some people will now say I am harsh. We forge on sha. PS: Many newcomers here think picking a name starts and ends with Expireddomains. This is quite laughable and hilarious. So you go in there, collect a name, and pocket dollars? Well all of us for don hammer since I once said in an earlier post, if you see a name, research to find out the reason you SHOULDN'T buy the name, instead of reasons to buy the name. If you do not know how to research on a name, you are not ready for this business. I am still learning but let me give you a peep on websites I have open in my browser any time I have strength to research Trademarkia USPTO Google (All, Images, News, Maps) yes oooo, I check the result across these 4 Statista Whois Godaddy Wayback Machine Facebook Twitter Instagram Pinterest Amazon and lots more (depending on what I am looking at - brandables, keywords, products, services, geo etc.) My only advice. If you have not read this thread from Page 1 (newcomer or not), START NOW. |

beckplanet: I pick names from the expired drops only bro. I've only used that options since I started Domaining never participated in a drop catch activity or auctions before but i feel that is where the more quality names are (Auctions and Dropcatch) and i strongly look forward to start participating in Auctions/Backorders in the near future maybe when i have enough money . But for now i manage to still find valuable names via expireddomains which remains the only option I've relied on from start (Although this can be very tedious, time demanding in exploring Expireddomains filter and requires some decent knowledge about Domaining trends) Evidently I've be able to pick up names like FinBuck//com LiteCurrency//com BloomQueen//com (Now on Squadhelp)
In the last few days. Names which you can rate as Backorder Quality. But generally alot of research and hardwork is required from the domainers end.
Peace Great! SH loves 2-syllable names |

spyder880: Yes. That means just one door leads to each flat from the stairs? I didn't know such designs still exist in this modern age. The design is fraught with security challenges. I prefer the two in one staircase where a door leads from the stairs to the front balcony, and another door from the stairs to the back balcony. Well I guess it's a matter of choice, or is there any other reason the owner chose this design? Is it more cost effective? |

tysonnn: In every society, there are always three classes. Don't be ridiculously low self-esteemed. Just because you choose not to settle for less doesn't mean you've got superiority complex. But if that's the case, then it's great actually. The whites have exhibited that since the medieval times. And has that made them not grow? You are a force to reckon with here, so stop encouraging nonsense.
You know very well what it's like to earn that amount. And I'm sure you know $200 a month is bullshit money. We need to start thinking we're great already instead of having this battered mindset I see in display, which was instilled in us in the days of slavery by this whites due to their "superiority complex". The world doesn't revolve around you. Get down from your horse, step out of your comfort zone, take a proper look at the society.....IT IS A MESS out there. Don't act like the ostrich. A million billionaires out of a population of 200 million people does not make the whole population wealthy. That $200 isn't a big deal to me doesn't negate the fact that $200 IS A BIG DEAL to MOST of the masses. Stop acting self-centered. Be realistic. Show empathy. You cannot be an island forever. The poor used to constitute the bulk of the voices speaking against bad governance. Today, the rich and priviledged have also started speaking out because it has started hitting them too. Staying hopeful and inspired for the future doesn't mean you should be blind onto today's challenges. Enjoy your comfort zone, but don't be a confusionist with such a false and delusional sermon. Wear the toga of Ubuntu. |

tysonnn: This is why Nigeria is still poor and not growing: her citizens still reason like slaves. If you don't think like a rich man, you can never be a rich man. Success starts in the mind. How will a whiteman tell you the typical average Nigerian doesn't get up to $200 per month and you are okay with it? And he's 100% right? That's slave mentality.
Look at that statement again: "the typical AVERAGE Nigerian".. He didn't say the poor Nigerian. He said the typical average Nigerian. Meaning the middle class.
For your info, the average Nigerian earns nothing less than N200k per month. If you don't make up to that yet, don't consider yourself as part of the average Nigerian. You belong to the minority and you should work to upgrade your status. The reason Nigeria isn't growing like it should is because of the type of superiority complex being exhibited by your ilk. When the giant of Africa is also the poverty capital of the world. And the irony is that we earned this name despite being home to the richest black man in the world. We have the resources to be better, but for now, the country is only a paper tiger. Middle class died in Nigeria in the late 80s. You are either rich or poor here. The AVERAGE Nigerian is poor. Face the reality. |

Babygal2020: Don't mind Rob, he likes downgrading Nigerians. There was even a time he said Nigerian domainers like flipping brandables for $2000 which is a very huge sum to us. He pictured us being poor. He would then end his comment by saying there are still good Nigerians that are not into fraudulent activities!!!!!! Wasn't he right? He even upgraded us by saying $2000, when MANY people here are HUGELY satisfied with $200 - $450 range. No one is perfect, not you, not I, definitely not Rob, but you can only argue with HOW Rob puts across his points, and not the veracity of his points. Individually, some of us have gotten on to the right side of domaining (investment), but generally we are still an emerging market. We will start getting the right accolades when we stop settling for less. It's THAT simple. PS: Do not go and hold onto 546ghdth.com claiming you don't want to settle for less. Put in the time, the work, and the resources, and Grace will give you a great finishing. @tysonnn four figure sale starts from $1000. How else do you want Rob to say it when he has already said we flip brandables for $2000 |

Philip is mad. He however didn't directly refer to just Nigerians in that comment. There are poor people everywhere. Rob is a great guy, but he needs to stop this nonsensical referencing of Nigerians whenever he wants to pass a point on very low figure sales. I haven't for once seen him mention that Nigerians also make four figure sales. This was Rob's post, to which Philipp responded.

I guess something good has materialized from the "undue" attention we have gotten in the domain industry.
This Philipp was making reference to the picture of Samuel's training of Corpers at Ota on domain investing.
