Few folks couldn't just keep to rules & do things legal (money by any means ranks top for them) so I'd to ban the service before it snatches my peace, Specuit's goodwill as well as my name. The months after the ban was hell especially with respect to the police.

Hey guys well done oo. I am considering jumping on the Xiaomi train with the Redmi Note 8. However, from GSMArena, I know the phone's basic specs are 4000mah battery, 6.3" screen, Snapdragon 665, Adreno 610, but I don't understand what I am seeing on Jumia (5000mah battery, Snapdragon 439, Adreno 506, 6.22" screen, and the camera at the back is positioned at the center instead of the side)
Abeg make una explain this to a novice like me
Where can I get the real thing, and at what price? Thanks all.

Mustiboy: I'll sell them and report my sales here. Thank you Lol. Nobody said you won't sell and report the sales. Here is a learning ground and those that observe/listen more often, pick up nuggets of wisdom from seemingly ordinary statements. When geo domains are the consideration, certain countries TYPICALLY prefer their own extensions. Australia - .com.au Canada - .ca UK - .co.uk South Africa - .co.za France - .fr/.eu Italy - .it/.eu Etc. The question then is, would you rather spend money registering .com for these countries, or would you spend more wisely concentrating your purchases on extensions targeted at the right communities? The choice is yours sha. |

Mcleo007: Losing one's partner especially at a young age is one of the biggest emotional trauma that can happen to anyone.
I lost my wife 3 weeks ago due to complications from childbirth. Our son didn't make it too. The saddest part is that I walked her into the theatre myself as she was to undergo an emergency c-section due to foetal distress as they said. She was full of life, gisted and pranked all the way. My world came down shattered when I saw the nurses running helter-skelter a few minutes after I left her off at the theatre room.
It's mysterious really how your life can be going so well, and in one blink, it comes down to pieces. We were first friends for a few years before becoming lovers, then decided to tie the knot this year in between her getting pregnant.
She was my best friend and we shared a close bond. We got married just May this year, which meant the marriage lasted just 4 months.
Family and friends would expect you to brace up and move on, but trust me the grief never go away. The grief hit harder in the mornings when I wake up; thoughts of the life we had, what we would have had had she not died, the many plans we made and so on.
I know I will survive, at least I know she would want me to. Shocking and speechless. Bro this is indeed a huge load, but I know that though scars may remain, time heals all wounds. Take solace in the comfort that the Lord provides in this type of situation. Stay well, stay strong, grow from this. |

IdeasPro: You're my best friend this year for asking this question. I follow your thoughts too on Iykepromotions thread. A lot of people out there complain too much of not selling because their focus is on "domain flipping" and NOT on "domain name investing." Two different online business models but with the same foundation.
For personal reasons, it is not in my character to flaunt income proofs and reports. Do you know you can transform a mediocre domain name to thousands of dollars within 6 months by creating content on it and have ready buyers knocking at your door to buy it? And the best part, it will not even cost you a fortune to do so.
Let me ask you this question? If someone walk up to you and ask you to exchange your N100 note for his N1,000 note will you be eager to do it? I guess you will! That is how developing a domain name to a level where you don't worry about domain name renewal fees. It also changes your perception on the type of domain names you should focus on.
I only register a domain I will develop sooner or later. If I find a good geo domain I cannot pass, I do so only for one year. After aggressive but ethical outbound marketing, I know that is a dude for me if it doesn't sell. For $10 investment, that should not be a pain to me at all.
My thoughts is to develop a domain and sell it. This way you're selling a business with viable assets (domain, content, traffic, etc) and not a bare land anymore. I was actually folllowing this model but I became more passionate about it when a read an ebook on how a blog was sold for $50,000 by a guy just by doing certain things right.
Creativity, determination and "can do it" spirit is what is making money online for successful bloggers, webmasters, and internet business owners. My advise for you is to get a domain name, develop it, promote it, earn money online with it consistently even if it is only $100 per month, and go ahead to sell that website for $1,200 and above. You would have received and enjoyed the monthly income and the final selling price. It doesn't stop you from the bangwagon domain flipping frenzy. It only keeps you busy and focus on the time because time is money. Priceless nuggets of wisdom you just shared. Time to delve into some research/practical learning. Will keep tabs on your upcoming content marketing series. Thanks |

Business › Re: How I Got A Content Writing Job With A European Company That Changed My Life by tranxo(m): 6:47am On Nov 12, 2019 |
ladywriter: I've always had the dream to work as a remote content writer (not freelance) with a company. I know two top content writers in Nigeria who have achieved this lofty goal. So I kept pushing to get there. Little did I know that I was already on the path that will lead me there. Below was how it happened:
I assume you know me already. I am Ladywriter. I created this thread "https://www.nairaland.com/4479900/how-make-decent-income-writing ", and "https://www.nairaland.com/1833989/how-make-1000-month-writing".
I stopped working on Freelancer.com to start my writing biz few years ago. It was tough, but I kept going. Two years ago, I sourced clients from LinkedIn. I got about 3 clients all from Europe. I worked with these companies for some time. The least period being six months and the longest - for about 2 years. While working with them, I tried as much as possible to satisfy the clients, but one of them was difficult to please. I eventually lost two of the clients. I kept faith with the remaining one. During this period, I brushed up my seo skill, took paid writing courses worth over $300 with Jon Morrow, bought copywriting books, read virtually all of Neil Patel’s content and followed Brian Dean bumper to bumper. I also bought grammar editing tools. I just kept on learning and improving myself.
Within a year, I became a pro at writing excellent business articles that ranked high on search engines. The articles I wrote for the company began to rank high in Google for our targeted keywords and the company sales soar. The company gives incentives from time to time. For example, they give Amazon Gift cards during Christmas.
Not too long ago, the company wanted to expand its staff strength. I got a call from the CEO asking me if I would like to work for the company full time. I was highly elated! I don’t think I need to tell you my answer (lol). Dreams come true after all. My basic salary for a start is four figures in dollars which translates to six figures in naira. I couldn’t believe my eyes. To cap it all, there are many benefits attached to the job. I will have the opportunity to travel annually to participate in the company’s camp meeting. There are other side benefits apart from my salary. People, it is good to be hardworking. I can’t begin to tell you the number of hours I spend on my laptop daily including weekends or how much I pay for data monthly. It took me about 3-4 years to get to this point with a lot of learning curves. But it eventually paid off. And this is just the beginning for me.
The truth is, there is no shortcut to success online. There is a process to follow to achieve your dreams. There is no height too high to climb if you are ready to pay the price.
I am writing this piece to encourage someone out there on the path to achieving his or her dreams or someone with a similar dream as mine.
If you are a writer and you want to achieve a similar feat, follow the steps below:
1. Learn how to write business articles 2. Learn how to do SEO 3. Learn how to source clients from LinkedIn 4. Take free and paid writing courses 5. Follow the experts
May God reward your efforts!
Blessings! Madam on top! God is good! |

Nouragen/king sold on SH
SH registered name
Listed on Sept 3.
Price: $2,249
My commission: $562
8 shortlists (we should really pay NO attention to this metric). Contest Likes is a truer buyer sentiment indicator.
Bought with 6 months installments, so I have the first $93 now.
(I made a point to activate installment payment on all my domains, to reduce purchase barrier for serious buyers)
Let's hang in there. |

Pls advice. If truly you registered the name before submitting, the 30% should be SH's commission. Read the mail they sent to you again. Besides, once you accept the commission rate, you would be able to increase the price to about 3k or so. |

Gurus in the house, is Afternic the best alternative to DAN, considering everything (commission, ease of payment by buyer, ease of withdrawal by seller, ease of domain push/transfer).
Is there no other domain escrow agent with low commission offering seamless domain concierge?
NB: DAN has worked for me so far, but with the increase in payment card rejection, it is possible I may have lost some sales without knowing it. |

ikhalyfah: Maybe u should read the write up again I think you should read what you wrote. You wrote you submitted Smaatly, which you coined to be a misspelling of the word Smartly. It doesn't work that way. You misspell a REAL word, not a non existent word. Your choice in this case should have been Smaartly, NOT Smaatly. Coin wisely. |

So i submitted smaatly/com to SH, they rejected, Going back to my rejected names i saw d name, checked and it was still available. I wondered why it was available, check trademark but it wasn't. Considering i like d name i decided to invest on it. I felt its a "one word" brandable.
It sells? GOOD It doesn't? At least i tried! Is Smatly a word? |
