A blood test "MUST" confirm pregnancy even if the embryo is just a few days old. However, a scan result may be inaccurate due to the fact that the embryo is still too small to be detected. You could be 3weeks or a month pregnant and still have a negative scan result. Also pregnancy strips aren't efficient either. Of the three, the blood test is the most reliable and effective as it will "always" guve an accurate result.

The medical term for this (like some users above clearly stated) is "sleep paralysis" and there are no known medications for it. It supposedly is induced by stress, lack of sleep, cold, poor diet etc. However, I'd like you to know that this has absolutely nothing to do with medicine. This is a spiritual problem. I've had this issue since I was a toddler, and mine is pretty severe as it occurs every other night, or multiple times in a night. Never sleep face up, be sure to sleep face down, or sideways. Some user above said its cause by "incubus",(you may want to google that), but some other spiritual entities other than that could be the cause too.
