mine is complicated. when i was small i use to see angels talking to me in different tongues but i will understand it. i used to see my self holding a long sword and i will be fighting strange peoples in my dream. they use to call me a strange name in my dream that i dont remember again. i also had this gift when any member of my familly dreams i will told them what they dreamt of they will be suprised of how i knew about it i will just saying it as if i was there.

i also had this ability to know peoples name when meeting them for the first time whithout anybody telling me. but right now i dont have this gift in me. anytime i pray very well i will just see some group of ladies chasing in the dream. sometime it will as if the whole world is chasing me. am even afraid to pray this days. pls i need your help

its not a dangerous gift. Remember, Jesus is our standard in Christianity. Jesus read peoples minds, he knew the intents of their heart and of course he knew when people were demon possessed. he saw the future etc. so this isn't a dangerous gift. seeing into the spirit realm isn't bad if it comes from the lord. it could avert dangerous situations from us.

remember Balaam and his horse?? God opened the eyes of Balaam's horse and he saw the angel standing in front of them even when Balaam couldn't see it.

remember Elijah?? God opened the eyes(spiritual eyes) of Elijah's servant and he saw that the angels that were with them outnumbered the Syrian army. it is not God's will that we are blind to the devil's schemes.

they exist, but like you said they are manipulations of the devil. when a person dies, their soul goes either to heaven or hell. those familiar spirits are demons who try to deceive people. Of course the devil is the great deceiver.

Me, I don't have a gift like u guys. I don't see demons, but I dream. I dream dreams before there happen. I had an accident long time ago. I saw it before it happened. I was spiritually weak, I didn't do anything abt it.

One of the surgeries I went for, before it, I dreamed, a sank in a swamp, I sank slowly, no one to help me up, so in my heart I prayed and asked for help. I saw a tree without leafs, like a dry tree, pushed itself towards me, the tree trunk stretched towards me, I held the trunk, pulled myself close to it and came out. Wen I woke up, I new I won't make it out of that theatre if I did nothing. I asked the Doctor to give me time to pray. He did. I went on three days fasting and prayer right there in the hospital.

I went in for the surgery it was( bone grafting) a 6hour surgery. They transfued blood, everything was fine. I was brought out of the theatre, they left a nurse to monitor my recovery, she didn't know I was gone. I saw myself standing watching myself in the bed with something in my mouth. I saw the resident Doctor, come into the room asking if I had made any movement? The nurse said No, this was well passed 10pm. I was to wake up by 8pm. I saw the Doctor removing something from my mouth, shook me, called me loudly. I answered him, but I didn't know he wasn't hearing me. He kept shouting and slapping my face very hard. I was wondering why he was shouting my name, I was answering him, but he kept calling. I wasn't feeling his hands as he slepped me
I saw my family crying and holding hands in prayer. I could see and hear them, but it was obvious they weren't seeing me. I wanted my sister to stop crying, I wanted them to know I was fine. But it was like I found myself in a dome, no windows no door. But I wanted to get back to them by all means. All of a sudden, like a strong wind blew me from behind, I lost sight of what I was seeing. I think that was wen I regained conciousness here. I woke in the midnight.
If I did nothing after that dream, I would ve been gone.
If I narrate my dreams, you'll ask me if those were dreams.
Some days ago, I dreamed, I entered a car, I was taken to an unknown location, while trying to get home, I got lost. When I woke up, I knew, if I don't pray hard, I will fall into wrong hands. The very next day, I walked into ONE CHANcE, but God delivered me.

I understand you perfectly. There are churches and there is a church. I get this correctly. My brother is a living example. He almost died many years ago. he was being attacked morning, afternoon and night. The devil wanted to render him useless or kill him because he had a calling. It was when my parents took him to mountain of fire and miracles ministries that he became well again.

Jesus is the only one that saves. But there are too many fake pastors everywhere that lack the calling of God and lack anointing too. which is why people with serious problems may not find a solution to their problems until they find an anointed man of God.

of course. many demons are destitutes ( wandering without a host body). if you do dry fast while keeping yourself holy, consecrated, and devoted in bible study, your spiritual eyes will be opened and you'd see many things.

The reason is this, when you're blind to the world and are not moved by things of the flesh, that's when your spiritual eyes become open. but if you're not, you remain spiritually dead and blind. But to some, it is a gift that comes naturally, with or without fasting. Demons are roaming around 24/7 because most or all of them have a mission. And their primary mission is to destroy all of humanity and drag humanity with them to hell.

You don't see the Yorubas losing sleep over this.

This fear of Igbo people is getting out of hand and you all should deal with it! Nobody is claming Urhobo and Isoko to be Igbo or Igboid but the word out there is that some Isoko clans have Igbo ancestry or influence,which ever way you want to put it. What you have here is not a unique case. Even in Igbo,we share certain words with our neighbours and that is a pointer to shared ancestry or influence if further investigations are conducted.
It will be nice if we have an open discussion about the origin of those Yoruba and Igbo words in your language instead of coming off as angry whenever Igbo is mentioned along side Isoko/Urhobo.
