Be enlightened. This system of economics is called "trade protectionism". Every country that is a world power today adopted this policy at some point. Okbaba: It surprises me when Nigerians talk like this. We are in a global community where intertrades take place. It is not about killing one economy to build another. In as much as I encourage consumption of local product, it is not a crime to buy a product that meet your taste be it local or foreign. It should rather be a challenge to Nigerian producers to meet up with consumers taste at home and abroad. Afterall, no economy is self sufficience. We should not also forget that that Nigerians are also exporting to other countries and we expect them to petronize those goods and services. What you sow is what you will reap.
I do not know if we have ever imagine what will happen to our economy if the western world stop importing our petroleum products which constitute over 70% of our GDP.
I am of the opinion that the Nigerian government should concentrate efforts in ensuring that Nigerian made good are produced to global standard and are tailored to consumers taste. The consumers should be left to make their choice ( after all they are still patronizing medical services abroad and no one has stopped them). We should strife to achieve positive trade balance in a decent and fair manner through well planned economic structures.
We should avoid all form of modern slavery. |

you're the one that is wrong. I've lived outside this country and I also know the system. The system of govt Buhari is adopting is called "trade protectionism". Now the daily limit maybe 1000usd, but you can spend "any" amount you like by bank transfers. That way the money can be traceable. This is the truth. Be enlightened. Promhize: There's a daily $1000 international transaction limit. Go to sleep pls, stop typing about what you know nothing about |

its not what I believe. its what is true. A census was conducted, and until you carry out your own census then that 2006 census results stands. Like I said, China wanted to introduce "wife sharing" policy because of scarcity of women. in India, blood brothers have been marrying the same wives for centuries. Its a known fact. I can think whatever I want to think, but the truth is what prevails. Richardonald: do you believe that women outnumber men in nigeria.. |

the 2006 census said that men also outnumbered women in naija. Actually men outnumber women in almost every country. But India and China are the worst cases. There's a particular village in India that has 300women as opposed to 100men. Men even abduct and kidnap women just to marry them in India. That's also why you see that the rape cases are high. Richardonald: what of naija? |

yes dear. seven years. This issue is one of the worst spiritual problems anyone could have. If one is delivered from these demons, and fall back into sin, his/her latter condition will be worse because that demon will bring other 7stronger demons next time. Thats why it seems the that the problem keeps recurring after deliverance. vooks: Seven years? |

stop dragging Lagos with them and making Lagos seem important. Lagos is clearly in the SW. same thing with PH. you hardly find Rivers indigenes but it doesn't stop Ph from being in the SS. Oga Rivers state population isn't 6 million. 9yrs ago, the 2006 census said we were over 5million Riverians. then Lagos was about 9million. Do the math. Yes, Amaechi or Buhari should return our money.if not, we no go gree HopeAtHand: I wonder how Rivers is owing that much, for goodness sakes we are only about 6Million Riverians..We have good IGR and Oil revenue why then shud we be owing much..
Amaechi should stylishly settle the debts he incurred from borrowing to sponsor Buhari..matter of fact, Buhari needs to create a special fund for Rivers through which he refunds our money..making Amaechi minister of Transport isnt equivalent to mobey spent.
Alternatively, Our ports must function to its capacity, we need brand new airports and we need superfast rail from PH to Enugu ( they should blow up the lines connecting the rail to Maiduguri) and Amechi should finish that flying monorail. |

these are the major routes foreigners take when coming into the country, and the state of these airports calls for immediate attention. These are also the major airports providing airfreight revenue to the govt. Enugu, Kano and the rest will be looked into after these. Largas: How the hell! !! You might say the statement comes from APC state chapter but how the he'll did they mention Abuja, Lagos and PH airport and excluding Enugu. So Enugu is no longer an international airport in Nigeria ?
You see the marginalisation we are talking about? Low federal presence in the SE.
This is the mentality of APC in the national level and if they upgrade all other airports and exclude Enugu they will be in trouble. |

there's a woman I know who had a spiritual husband. She used to moan in the physical whenever he met her in her sleep. Her physical husband always found himself on the floor even after lying on the bed. The spiritual husband was responsible for that. He was jealous and would drag the woman's real husband to the floor. The woman also claimed to have heard mysterious cries of babies in her room on many occasions. This isn't just a story, she saw the spiritual husband many times. Some of them also rape their victims. And some victims wake up with sperm on them. ikes9: Really?? How do yhu know this |

I am not saying what I think. What I think doesnt count. only the truth of his word counts. We were made male and female on earth ONLY for reproduction, so we could multiply and fill the earth. Heaven isn't place of sexual pervasiveness. We neither marry or are given in marriage in heaven. check Matthew 22:29-30 bronzegoddess: We are gonna be sexless? Ahahahahahahahah. If we are gonna be sexless, I wonder why we were made male and female in d first place. u are only saying what u think, not what really is. Ayam looking for a female angel oo. |

you reason like a five year old. is Toke the first woman whose husband is cheating or having a baby by someone else? what about women whose husbands travel for months doing business or working in other countries/states/cities?? going by your analogy, is it okay for those women to cheat or get pregnant for other men?? Oh, didn't the bible say "men, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it"?? double standards won't take you nowhere. Men who cheat are perverts who only think through their dicks. This has nothing to do with sex deprivation. Maje is a grown ass man and Toke isn't a babysitter. Many housewives fall victims of this too, cheating is inexcusable. tivta: You obviously don't know the Genesis of the problem, after one year of marriage she wrote on her blog how she hates African setting that requires her to be pregnant, if she doesn't want kids why marry? She is just too full of her self, always going on vacation and events without the husband, what sort of wife is she? Even the Bible says submit to your husband, so the women who put church first should just become nuns instead of getting married. Family first. |

female demons conceive from men and vice versa. These demons are known as incubus/succubus. Most victims don't even know when they become pregnant for these demons, only fervent prayers expose them. vooks: Hmmmm Do female demons conceive from men or do women conceive from male demons, or is it a case of both? |
