Firstly Turkey has an embassy in Abuja. Apply through it. Secondly if you hold a valid O.E.C.D member country visa like UK, Shengen, USA, Japan etc, you can apply and pay online but you will need to fly Turkish airline. |
I hope I don't sound like someone from the past but can someone please tell me how to open a Paypal account. I never really bothered about such things before. I am more interested in the payment and not receiving as I now need to import some products and the merchants in China have requested that I pay via Paypal. Thanks |
thegreencoal:You can try Brazil. All you need to do to get a permanent residency status is to give birth to a baby who will automatically become a Brazilian citizen. Irrespective of your visa status or nationality if you plan on staying as a permanent resident, you can just switch from a tourist visa to a permanent visa based on a Brazilian child and you don’t even have to leave the country to apply. you can also gain citizenship status in about a year. However while all this is backed by the law, Brazil is a very bureaucratic country and you need to do your research well as the process can become very overwhelming. Also be aware that the language in Brazil is Portuguese. I wish you the best. |
MrFootball:How far do you think she can get ahead in her career with a name like Ejiofor on a network like CNN? |
yes you can apply for renewal via drop box before expiration of current visa. And no it will not pose any issue |
Go and study the statistics of most separations by Nigerians in the U.S. and you will realise that in most cases the guy brought the lady into the country because he wanted to marry a fresh and simple girl from home (most likely arranged by his mum). In most cases the lady becomes over exposed and gets carried away by the pace of life, glitz and other vanities she was never exposed to while growing up. |
I think the ideology of the village vs city girl has gone with the 80s and the 90s. With the world being closer than ever courtesy of technology, the village girls is as exposed if not more exposed than some city babes. I bet you she is very aware of the latest styles, accessories, gadgets e.t.c (probably couldn't just afford them). A city girl understands your hustle as par you live in the same city. Bring a village girl to the city and she expects you to upgrade her (and her family) ASAP because she believes every guy from the city is a big boy. |

Hello. |
It's very enlightening reading all your experiences at the Nigerian High Commission UK but I am faced with a some what challenging issue. My wife and I recently had our baby in the USA. Her US passport was just recently issued after some delays and we have less than a week to spend in the US before leaving so processing a Nigerian visa or passport in the US is not working for US. We however plan to spend a few days in the UK before returning to Nigeria so I am thinking I should just process the visa at the Nigerian High Commission in London. The problem is I don't know the procedure and I am not getting much information from the High Commissions website and they are also not picking calls. I will appreciate any advise or information on how to go about processing a Nigerian visa for our daughter at the Nigerian High Commission in the UK. Thanks all |
We recently had our baby in the USA and her US passport was just issued. The issue is that we are due to depart the USA in a few days and so processing a Nigerian passport or visa for her in the US is quite tight especially since we are based far from all the states where any of the Nigerian consulates are situated. We will be spending a few days in the UK before returning to Nigeria and I am thinking processing our baby's Nigeria visa at the Nigerian High Commission in London might just be a good option. The Problem is that I am not getting any information from the Nigerian High Commissions website in terms of the procedure for processing a Nigerian visa and they are also not picking their phones despite numerous calls. i will really appreciate with any useful information from everyone who knows the procedures for processing a Nigerian visa in the UK. Thanks |

Thanks for the info PortHarcoutBoy. Congratulations Blesyn8. May God be praised |
Please I will appreciate needed info on how to go about signing the consent letter at the USA embassy. Does it require any payments and what time do they attend to people? Thanks |
I want to give praise to God for the safe arrival of our princess on the 13th of August, 2014. My wife delivered at MIHS Phoenix and I give God all the glory, honour and adoration. I also want to thank everyone who has contributed and continue to contribute towards making this thread a total success and a resource centre for giving birth in the USA. I especially want to thank and appreciate LeonessAug for her love and care towards my family at Crossland despite just having her own baby. You are a lioness with a big and beautiful heart. Thank you My good people I need direction on how to go about getting the sworn affidavit for my wife at the USA embassy as I may not be able to travel for another two weeks. Please do not tell me to go though the thread as I don’t have that time and I am too excited to do that. |
Thank you all. Issue resolved. Thank you |

na wao nwando , i think there should be a cultural constitutional change in ibo land as par wedding responsibilities ![]() .your smart ancestors were'nt definitely thinking of present day nigerian economy. accepted females were not considered as equal to males in those days but should'nt the much advocated gender equality be applied to wedding as it is applied to other areas like salaries.no wonder those ibo guys never marry untill they are 45 and have been able to buy a benz v boot .anyway i believe this also applies to those from the niger delta especially urhobo, can u you imagine the groom also has to buy the clothes the brides parents will wear on that day and i can tell you those their wrappers dont come cheap. Some tribes should please wake up and carry their responsibilities |
if you are a secretary,i suggest you pray everyday to make it thru a shagless day at the office ![]() |
i'll like to work there if they have a travel logistic /protocol unit |
