Rosalyn a 26-year-old Benue woman is currently passing through hell in her husband’s home. The young woman has cried out for help after enduring years of physical and emotional abuse from the husband, whom she claimed married her when she was just 19 years old.

Facebook user simply identified as Mimi Atedze shared the story, and the woman wants Nigerians to come save her from the hands of the devil she calls her husband.

Good day, my name is Rosalyn.from Benue state I need help so I don’t take my life. Because that seem to be the only option now. I got married in court at the age of 19 because I was pregnant and because I didn’t want to bring shame to my parents, I got married and it has been the worst decision I ever made.

I have never had peace.i have been abused emotional, physically and psychologically..I have no say,at that time I couldn’t visit my parents, even when I was pregnant for my two kids, he treated me like I was nothing.

I did Cs and he threatened me to tell the doctor to discharge me because he didn’t want to waste money,I ended up having infection on my incision area( a flesh eating disease) it nearly killed me.He refused to put me in school as promised nor pay for me to learn a skill..I was being punished for everything, it was like I was walking in eggshells. he locked me outside till 3am with my newborn baby inside the room crying for hours because I asked him why he came home by 12am. He goes out to drink, club,cheats with many women.

One day, I asked him a question and he beat me up in front of his mother,then it happened again and again .I ran to my parents house but I was told to go back because divorce is not good and that he’ll change..But he never changed, at times he won’t talk to me for weeks nor buy food or eat the food I cook, he’ll abuse me and call me and my family names.

I keep baring everything until last year august when I found out he was sleeping with my kid sis who’s 16. She told me that they’ve been having sex three times a week for 2 years,she got pregnant and they aborted it..I was devastated..I was shocked,I was in pain.

I wanted to run away with my kids but I had nowhere to go to,I had no money, no skill, no degree..So i stayed bearing it all..He still hasn’t changed.he use it to rub on my face instead..I have developed a terrible high blood pressure at the age of 26, as a result of his constant abuse.

He keeps tormenting me and beating me up.. Threatening me with a knife, I ran away to Lagos for some weeks.. Came back and this morning, he starts beating me for no reason… I need to leave this marriage.. I need to get my life back. I need help.

The Nigerian Union in South Africa say six guest houses owned by their members were burnt during attacks against Nigerians in Rustenburg, North West Province of South Africa.

Mr Paul Nwanedo, chairman of the union in the Province, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the telephone from Rustenburg, on Thursday that the attackers beat a woman and her child.

“ These attacks began on Sunday. Four Nigerians are in critical condition in the hospital. We also received a report that the Taxi drivers also beat a Nigerian woman and her child.
“ We can also confirm that six guest houses belonging to our people were burnt by the drivers.


“ We have not recorded any incident today. We have advised our people to remain indoors and ensure their safety.
“ As we speak, stakeholders comprising the police, taxi drivers and senior government officials are still in a meeting. The union was not allowed to be part of the meeting,” Nwanedo said.

The chairman said that the union was still taking stock of losses by Nigerians and would communicate to appropriate Federal government representatives in South Africa.

NAN learned that the taxi drivers went on the rampage following allegations that Nigerians sold drugs to a gang that attacked their members.

They also alleged that a Nigerian abducted and raped a 16-year-old South African girl.

Nwando said the allegations were false and spurious.

Nigeria-born winger Xavier Amaechi celebrated his 17th birthday in the best possible way with a deal that ties him down at the Emirates Stadium.

The youngster who joined the north London club in August 2013, at the age of 12, progressed to become a key figure in the club’s youth setup. Amaechi has scored five goals in four appearances for the Gunners’ U-18 side this campaign.

The contract came as a reward for the left-footed winger who has also featured for the U23 side in Premier League 2 this term. And he is on course to follow in the steps of Nigeria international Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom both of whom have progressed to the Gunners’ first-team fold.

“Talented winger Xavier Amaechi has signed his first professional contract with the club. Xavier, who turned 17 today, has featured for both our under-23s and under-18s this season.
