MollyClarkson:
Thanks for the information, but I don't think that it's hard to find a good lawyer, it's not so easy to become one and I think that companies won't take at work an inexperienced and unqualified person, of course, I am talking about good and well-known companies. I always use Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P.A. company when need the help of a professional lawyer that will help me with my application. I even don't need to verify them because they help me so many times that I stopped counting. But I am sure that it will be very helpful for someone. Have you ever met with an unqualified lawyer or not?

I can show you countless number of them, Several of them are in prison now. I mean fake ones.

Family › Re: Is Court Marriage Allowed After Traditional Marriage With Someone Else. by Treash(op): 7:05am On Jan 25, 2021

bukatyne:
Interesting.

I think people especially women would still prefer the statutory marriage or a church/mosque affiliated to the court because of proof.

How do you prove traditional marriage? Pictures? That can be doctored or stolen or tamperred with.

Exactly. Or production of witnesses.

Legal issues...

"In 2010, Femi married Juliana in the Yoruba Customary Law (Traditional marriage) without children.
In 2014, same Femi married Jumoke at the Ikoyi Registry with 3 children.

"Who's the legal wife of Femi?"

Answer: Juliana
Why?

Section 33 of the Marriage Act provides as follows:

(1) No marriage in Nigeria shall be valid where either of the parties thereto at the time of the celebration of the marriage is married under customary law to another person other than the person to who the statutory marriage is had.

What gives you Joy and Satisfaction?

If it is Vanity , you need to be Careful because when Vanity becomes your Priority, you follow after Vanity and when you Follow after vanity, you become Vain...

I agree with you brother. Better still, how would a man feel if he realizes God is with him or his name is written in God's personal book of life. How would a man feel, if God opens his eyes to see myriad of angels guiding him day and night. If someone can be this joyful just because a mortal man "follows" her on Instagram, then he'll faint automatically if God says: "This is my son with whom I'm well pleased". Shalom.
