Sprucekhalifa: i have truely seen you dont understand wat u read..mecca is a city..i agree..wat type of city was it??...a small city where both christains and idol worshippers lived...how the mohammed rebuild mecca?..when he began his quest for islam he was driven from mecca and he ran to medina where he went and started preaching peace...until he gathered his first 300 war men..nd he went to mecca.killed, slain, beheaded the christains that refused to join..and women he took as slave married d ones he liked..and lo and behold he started rebuilding mecca thurned the temple solomon built for his wife jezebel to kahaba and built a house for the devil..where every year people would go there and cast stone on the devil..nd u tell me he didnt build it. Oga, where do u read this ur history from When Prophet Muhammad was driven out of Makkah, he was welcomed in Madinah, and the battle your are talking about happened in Madinah, when the Makkans came en mass, in other to kill him, and they lost the battle woefully. Secondly, there's no any Christian in Makkah, it's full of Idol worshipper, Islam have a big respect for Christians among all religions, Thirdly, when Prophet Muhammad came to liberate Makkah, he was already victorious over them, so the condition was that anybody that doesn't come to confront him with war is safe, in minding how they maltreated his followers in the beginning of Islam. Please read up before writing anything. |

SpecialAdviser: If he had true love in him, this letter could have been extended to all human race whether Atheist, Buddhism, Christianity or African religion.
We are are all created by God and are partaker in the love that flows from Him. We should condemn people not by their way of belief or their religion but by the content of their characters.
For the simple word "LOVE", I chose to be a Christian because that is what Jesus commanded his followers to do. To love even your enemy. I belong to Jesus. this was a letter to the Christian communities, and why should the Jews and pagan be addressed here. Can u give any account of where he attacked any other religion without justification? After the liberation of Makkah, most of them are idol worshippers, yet he forgive them all the oppression his followers faced before they fled Makkah. What can u say about this? |

Can u give account of any incident where the prophet killed Christians during his reign From where do u read ur own history Sir? Isn't it better to say what's good or the fact and mention ur dignity if only u have any |

Josnac: Hmmmm.
The nature of man is inherently evil, Religion or no religion. And this most naturally arises from jealousy, the prime reason for the fall of the few thousand angels.
This is also exhibited by religious leaders, who have over the years been able to convince quiet a number of people to follow their seemingly true ideologies, wherein in fact, they're acting out of jealousy for the large followership being commanded by where ever they are breaking away from.
Otherwise, how on earth will some Muslims keep saying Islam is a religion of peace while most major religious uprisings are caused by same Muslims
Today, Iran is considered the official sponsor of Islamic terrorism, and come to think of it..Turkey even used to be a completely Christian Nation. Did they then all convert to Islam willingly??
Abeg, this is 2018..somebody should not come and try to use our senses to soak garri.. its still too early in the year for that rough play. you mentioned Turkey and Iran in the present ISIS crisis, where is United States and Britain? What can you say about the relationship between the USA government and the Talibans, what about the western countries supplying weapons to rebels in Syria and Yemen. Are all these things justifiable in Christianity? You mentioned Boko haram, if they are the true representation of Islam, what can you say about the atrocities of the Roman Catholic to humanity, they use the Bible to justify colonialism and the crusades, and other interdemonination wars in Christianity. Are you saying that those evil doers are the true representatives of Christianity |

JikanBaura: ;DYou don't know. Their aren't adult Fulani who was understand hausa Not in Arewa even if he/she is living deep in the forest he must have learnt hausa. To say their are Fulani in the north who completely don't understand hausa is playing with our Knowledge. Maybe they came from neighboring cámeroon.
But like Baaballiyo said their are Kids Fulani who don't understand hausa we have them in the north west. But as long as one carried out his today activities he must comprehend Hausa. In taraba which language between hausa and Fulatanci is more spoken that's my thought bro, but I don't want to keep arguing because I haven't been able visit every state in the country, so I thought my experience is limited to the locations I knew. |

Fulaman198: That depends on where you go and whom you are speaking to. There are Fulani in Nigeria that do not speak 1 word of Hausa..You can find many in Jalingo, Yola, etc. etc.
The Mbororo'en speak pure unadulterated Fulfulde with hardly any Hausa in it. So whilst what you may say is true for the most part regarding a lot of Urbanised Fulani, it does not hold true for all Fulani in both Niger Republic and Nigeria. thanks man, I've learnt a lot today about fulani, instead of speaking about my limited knowledge on the language and culture, I'll be glad if u can teach me more about fulfulde |
Culture › Re: Coronation Ceremony Of Sarkin Fulani Of Oke Ogun by treasuredude007(op): 4:38pm On Nov 07, 2017 |
VayneTombend: Again I disagree. You can't tell me fulanis outside Nigeria or Niger all can't speak fulfulde without adding hausa to it. You're generalizing too much about linguistics and culture, might be true in Nigeria but fulanis are all over Africa and aren't always in the same bracket as hausas, heck not even in the north east. I'm sure fulfulde speakers like fulaman198 will tell you what you said about word borrowing is absolute poppycock. you are very correct sir, I'm strictly talking about Fulanis in Nigeria, most especially places where Hausa language is spoken, they've totally taken the Hausa culture, and most of them now can't even say much about their own culture. That's it. |

VayneTombend: All languages have borrowed words from other languages, doesnt mean one cant stand without the other. Yoruba has some hausa words in it, doesn't mean yoruba cant stand without hausa. it's very important for a language to borrow from another language, most especially strange things and conditions that is not known to the language, but for Fulani, the borrowing is just too much to call it normal. Recently, Fulani communities have been influenced by the Hausa more than anything else. |

VayneTombend: I strongly disagree. a lot of words used in fulani language are of Hausa origin. What can u say about that? |
Culture › Re: Coronation Ceremony Of Sarkin Fulani Of Oke Ogun by treasuredude007(op): 12:20pm On Nov 07, 2017 |
scholes0: Ardos are the traditional Fulani clan Heads and district chiefs, which is what the man being turbaned in Oke Ogun should be, while Lamidos are Fulani Kings i.e Lamido of Yola.
Sarkin is more like an Hausa infusion (Nigerian factor) Yeah, I agree with you, but Fulani as a language can't stand on its own without Hausa, Lamido can be easily translated as Sarki, because it's more common than Lamido. Thanks for the info bro. |
