Well, Pogba is still a talented player and our best player only when he cuts his excesses on the ball. I hope the signing of VDB will push him to give his best for the team...

If only you know how happy i was when we signed him from Juventus, only for him to be dropping mediocre performance on the pitch. How many games has Pogba dominated for us? He has the talent but just not doing enough for us, i hope this season is different sha..

With Bruno, Pogba, VDB, Fred, Matic and McTominay, I can't wait to see how Ole will set up against Liverpool/City...I reckon we should be able to take the game to them and dominate the play.

Expect nothing spectacular from Pogba next season, the guy is an exceptional talent no doubt. He just doesn't show seriousness or the determination to play for us, and na wetin dey pain me pass about him be that.

For those who think i don't want the club to sign anybody, this is me in July stating the kind of players i would love us sign this transfer window. Ake has joined Mancity, we still need a strong pacy defender to compliment slow Maguire, we need a good, strong and pacy attacker to trouble opposition defence, score loads of goals and create space for Martial and Greenwood too and finally we need a right winger.

If he was in Ole's list of transfer targets, why did he wait this long to speak and convince the player to join considering his cheap transfer fee? Would Utd make this move if Pogba didn't catch Corona Virus? Hope to see more quality signings in the coming days..

Na here we dey, make we dey watch the window winding to a close. If we bring in additions fine and happy me, if we don't well we move. Anyhow we see next season, we take it. I wish my team success every season, regardless of who is the Manager. I want good quality additions, but don't support wasteful spending on some overhype English players. Imagine we ended up signing Maddison for £80m instead of Bruno...

Na why i mute my response jare, some people cannot respond to comment without adding insult. A report came that we were monitoring Van de Beek at this hour of the transfer window, while all along na Sancho matter we dey hear. What does that say about the Manager and the board? If the manager gave the board list of players he feels with fit his style of player, why hasn't he complained of no signing yet. Abi all his supposed targets na him carry £100m+ transfer fee, that we haven't signed any since the window opened. Telling the club you need quality players is one thing, identifying the kind of players you need in your first team is another.

Not exactly. OGS actually made it clear that he needed about 9 new players before becoming permanent manager.

So far, 4 have been brought in. Ighalo was mainly out of necessity for a Martial backup.

He need 5 more players yes but did he identify the players needed and submitted to the board? Again i don't want to believe the board could not sign any of his transfer targets if truly he had any targets other than Sancho...

Apart from Sancho, we have been very inactive in the TW. Even the Matt Judge that we are maligning won’t just start negotiating and looking for players to buy without the recommendation of the manager.

Am not one of those guys, that i don't want us to waste money on some overhyped English players doesn't mean i don't want the Glaziers to spent. How much is Van de Beek transfer fee? But i won't be surprised if OGS prefer an overpriced English midfielder to him. We have already lost weeks in the transfer window, yet we still dey do monitoring. Ok the board and Glaziers are to blame for not signing Van de Beek since....

Doc Lampard gave Chelsea his list of targets and the board went for them without any fuss or monitoring. We are few days to the close of the window yet we dey monitor an international well established player, same Van de Beek that was rumoured we wanted to sign in January when the Bruno deal was proving difficult. I don't want to believe the board could not bring in any of his targets if he truly had any other than Sancho. So i put it down to OGS not drawing up a proper transfer list of target to improve his team...

United monitoring Donni Van de Beek, guess we should blame the Glaziers for this foolishness too? We obviously have a Manager who doesn't have proper transfer targets except Sancho, this says a lot about OGS in my opinion. Make dem dey monitor, Barcelona will end up signing him (if truly they are interested) cos of Ronald koeman...

Chelsea with Werner, Ziyech, Chilwell, Kai (likely) won't have cost them more than 250m but if we were signing those players, we have spent over 350m and have you come here to say we have spent enough...The problem is deep, we over pay for players especially players who aren't world beaters...

Another good point have been making since, even if Glaziers release another £200m this window, the people incharge of transfer would still blow it on average over expensive players. Then the fans will turn round and blame the Glaziers as always..

Money that must be well spent, not throwing £108m on just one player and leaving other important area lacking. It's no longer how much the Glaziers release, its how the money is spent and the players the club buys with it. I said it some days back that the person responsible for contract negotiation/extension need to leave that sit.

Thank you ojare, even the author admitted that United (Glaziers) has spent over £1billion on transfer in the last 7 years without winning the EPL. If the Glaziers didn't approve the spending, would the club spent it? Was it Glaziers fault that unites spent £50m on Wan bisaka or £80m on Maguire? £50 something million on Fred or the rubbish contract we offered Sanchez plus all the other rubbish signing we made with the £1+billion. A whopping £1billion, and people are still blaming the owners. Southampton that didn't spend so much and with average players play better football compared to us. Now some fans want the Club to blow £108m on Sancho and if that doesn't work out, they will blame the Glaziers again. Chelsea are signing quality gifted players for cheap, but Woodward will always look for the super expensive average players to throw the money at..

I get your point and i agree to some extent. Same Glaziers spent £200m last season and have been spending heavily since the time of Louis Van Gaal. Any deal that doesn't involve instalment pay ( as it was rumoured United proposed to Dortmund) would be very difficult this window, i want very talented but not so expensive signing and our scouting network should get to work asap. We bought Pogba for a then world record £90m+ and he still hasn't shown why we paid such fee to sign him. Sancho may just be another English talent that couldn't live up to the hype or could, but spending £100m on one player is still a no no for me. How many big money signings in major leagues has been successful in recent times. Coutinho, Felix, Griezmann, Kepa, Pepe, Dembele etc comes to mind.....

Bros almost every major businesses in the world is affected by Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of companies have laid of workers including Arsenal quite recently. Please let's just accept that it won't be business as usual this transfer window, Manutd is not immune to this financial crises and we should understand that. The best i see us doing is instalmental payment on transfer fee for players, same as Arsenal did with the Pepe deal...
