Actually they are movable. I even sold mine to one of their meter engineers. Learnt it works within a specific area and can be moved from one place to another within the area.

Yes it's a criminal offense to take it along with you while parking out. The best thing to do is to negotiate with the landlord so you guys can deduct from your rent.

One of the reason it is prohibited is that you can move a meter from a band C area to a band A area, thereby paying low electricity bills while enjoying Band A supply.

It can be moved but NEPA doesn't like it and would probably confiscate it if you install it .
It also works on your band..so moving it to Band A area would trigger an alert from their end

Some network providers dey lock some phones abroad to work with only their sim cards, not only Samsung phones. (just like mtn phone, that can't work with any other sim unless you unlock it)
