It can't be fixed by software downgrade.. Samsung is doing free screen replacement for customers who are facing the same issues in India.

It doesn't happen to all the devices. A friend of mine has S22 ultra too, updated to one UI 6.0 without any issues

I have an s10 plus that's been In android 9 since I first got it.

2 months ago I decided to start using the phone as it'd been idle for over a year.

I updated it to android 12 and not long after, same green line you have, mines just thinner.

Phone never fell.
