Ninisun: Attend to the second offer, a bird at hand worths more... and don't forget to write to A that you have moved on to another. Thanks. But won't it be a problem if the 2 of them process my COS at once? Company A said it's close to 4weeks they applied for it that I should be patient |

Hi guys. Since it's taking time for my COS to come out. The company said it's still under review by UKVI and that they want to reapply to see if it will come quicker
Another company I recieved their offer and passed through their training mailed me that they just got their licence and would want to process my COS. Will it be okay to send my details to them to process my COS when company A is already processing it but it is taking time. Any advice? |

Still haven't gotten my Cos after 5weeks of submitting passport data page to company. Mailed them but as usual they hardly respond their mails until they feel the need to do so. Don't know why it's taking this long. I thought cos comes within few days to 2weeks at most. |

Lexusgs430: You wife works in the health sector, she now wants to tell her employer, to employ you too ...........
Una think say, nah Nigeria una dey ........... When you arrive, you seek employment and apply. If her employer got vacancies, you would have to apply too, I doubt her employer, would have any process engineering roles .........
Remap your plans ....... Unfortunately, your wife cannot dictate her shift patterns....... She would have to take, what she is given....... Thanks. I am seeking to get a care job with a flexible shift |

Viruses: Congratulations on the sponsorship. To the best of my knowledge, you don't just tell an employer to employ you and dictate shift.
I would think the focus should be getting here and patiently observe your wife's pattern of work, her rotation and off days. Based on this, you will know what kind of jobs to apply, what shifts to run and the number of days in a week to put your children in crèche. You might be lucky to get remote job, on the other hand you might just turn to full time house husband if you don't get a job with a rotation that properly alternates your wife's own. The solution to this last problem is to get a good job of like £2k/month and use like £1800/month for school fees for the two children. Thanks for your comment I would seek a care job with a bank role that may afford flexible work schedule to align with my wife's work schedule. |

Hi guys, I have been following this thread from the first page. I and my family will be coming to Chippenham Wilshire in a couple of weeks. My wife got a health care sponsorship job. The issue is that we have two kids, 6 months and 2years +. We understand that paying for child minder or nursery is very expensive. We plan on telling her employer that I will like to work with them and ask if it will be possible to give me an alternate shift with her always so we can have at least one person taking care of the kids at home.
Is this a good idea? I am a Process Engineer in the oil and gas sector with about 5years of experience. I have an entry level proficiency in machine learning and data analyst. Any advise on the best option for us? |

Perfecttouchade: COS takes longer these days due to Ukraine taking up these jobs and most care homes are filling up the Ukrainians to carry out these jobs especially the HCA jobs, hang on..u should be getting your COS soon , it's just patience..the Ukrainians won't stay in those jobs for long and as well as the students switching..best of lucks. Thanks. I believe it will come soon. |

Navaisha: On all the COS I have seen that ticked maintenance, it is automatically for dependents also. That is why I stated the need to sight the COS. Even though the accommodation is usually for just the employee, the COS can cover the dependents so they don’t need Proof of funds Thanks. This is what I wanted to clarify. I saw a COS screenshot that says "tick if you will provide maintenance for migrant ( and dependants if applicable)" |

TomatoSauce1: You would need to confirm this from your employer. In my case, my employer told me maintenance was just for me. Okay thanks. Yet to get my COS though, I have been waiting for close to 4weeks. Just want to know what to expect or how to prepare |

Good morning guys. Please I would like to ask if your employer should tick maintaince for you, will the maintaince automatically cover your dependants? Or can the employer tick maintaince without covering your dependants? |
