Hi guys, if I open a revolut bank account in Nigeria and I fund it before traveling to the UK. Can I use the virtual card to pay for train or bus at the airport and do transfers in UK? And is there a way I can withdraw the pounds without having the physical card?. Pounds rate at the airport is scary.

Hello house, my question is to those on this thread that have gone through all the process. I did my biometric on the 23rd of August. Since it's assisted service my employer is the one that paid for everything and updating me. Got a mail from my employer on the 4th of this month September with an attachment they received from UKVI that say congratulations my application has been successfully for a 5 years visa for starting from September 1st of this month. The problem is now today is 13th and I'm yet to receive any further communication from UKVI to pick up my passport with the vignette. Those who have idea should please let me know if it takes this long for pickup after letter of approval.

Please I once worked in government organization and the job I did was not related to health care. Meanwhile I didn't see any other place where they made provision for me to put my job history on health in the visa application form. In this scenario what can I do to reflect that I have working experience in healthcare or is there no need for it?

Ok... the visa officer can look at it right front of his screen that why I was just curious why this would even be considered to be uploaded.... same with COS... Cos is an electronic document that the visa officer can see on their screen

I guess it doesn't cause any harm even if it might not be necessary

They won’t tell you this, but most care jobs are usually gotten through runs. You have to know someone usually in the Uk and pay for it.

Is your employer that bad? No notice period? I think the option suggested earlier would have been better for you especially if your trip won't last more than a week or two. There is no guarantee that they will request your passport almost immediately and even if they do, you can send it to them when you return.

TLS offers the option of keeping your passport while you wait for a visa decision. Check the TLS website in the Added Value Services section. It comes at a fee of £58.65. So go enjoy your trip to Barcelona and stop lying Lol

pay for keep my passport service when you go for biometrics. You wont have to submit your passport for the UK visa until the application has been determined.

See dont bother yourself so much abt all these tins,mine is worse than urs ,my cos was assigned 30th of may and work starts june 1,EMPLOYER didnt tick maintenance for me ,had to wait extra month to do pof ,and am still waiting for pof to mature,ur job is still opened for 3 month likewise ur cos.

Put the time that fits into your documents expiration window . Eg, TB test , and Poliuce report

It depends on the work start date on your COS , you can fill in the tentative date you intend to travel depending on your circumstance like a week or some weeks if you are travelling earlier.
