And here I was thinking Nigerian leaders were the most jobless
gbam |
Apparently d only part of my post you saw was d rent. Did you not see my suggestion to suspend d wedding? And its men like you that will still laugh at d woman for not gettin married at d age of 29 |
dayokanu: The bolded is why the ability of some women to think rationally is always questioned.paying for an apartment is not blowin money, furnishing and renovating it with 80% of money intended for a weddin is blowin it. What do you need that much furnishing in a house for at once. You can gradually buy things. I believe he wasn't sitting/sleeping on the floor in his previous apartment so he at least had basic furniture. The previous rent was due to expire in september anyways so how did he plan on renewing it? With the weddin money i guess. And beside, if he was cash strapped, instead of sayin "oya pay now shebi you have money" he should have put off weddin preparations for a while thats what every rational human being would do. |
You people should stop calling this woman selfish its pisin me off. Wich of the men here can go and meet thier friends and boast that- ah na my babe pay for our wedding cause she get money. Ideally, marriage costs should be split even, are u trying to say that if the poster here was jobless, or was even still in school the man won't marry her again because she can't pay for d wedding. And d woman didn't even say she couldn't assist in payin d bills, she only complains that eighty percent seems rather unfair to her. And those of you saying the man used his money to rent a house for the BOTH of them should think again. He rented his own house (most probably in just his name) and invited d woman to live with him. So he eventually is the stingy one for asking his girl to pay most of the cost on d basis that he blew his money renting an apartment (was he planning to sleep under bridge wit her). Any man who wants to express thier authority as d head of the house should know one thing, if your wife pays for that wedding, you automatically lose your authority. |
Sagamite: What a moronic point. |
Sagamite: What a moronic point.you're the moronic vagabond, did you not see the part where i scolded her. For sending unclad pictures? She's very wrong, but in her defence her husband knows her sensitive spots already and things that can get her to fall for him. She was stupid to be so indecent. Also, i don't blame any of them, they have no regard for the institution of marriage. |
@poster, when you marry this man, you are going to answer his name, he's paying money to your father to take you to his house, he is more or less (renting) you <i wouldn't say buyin cause nobody owns anybody, just God>. It would be very selfish of you to not contribute anything especially when you know he's not stable, but at the same time, eighty percent is more than a majority of the fundings. No matter what, the day he shouts at you, you won't fail to remind him that you're responsible for d success of d ceremony, no man wants that. All the stupid guys here calling you stingy will die before the accept such a deal from a woman. No offence but your man is not taking the seat of the head of the house here. My advice to you is to put off the ceremony (if you must marry now opt for a small court affair and celebrate when the funds are avialable) until you are stable enough to have your dream weddin. Don't cut your cost and deprive yourself of a nice weddin, we all plan for just one weddin in a life time so let yours be perfect, talk to your man and God bless. |
taryour: go and take a very chilled bottle of coke cause u will need it.need it for what?. Pls talk sense here and don't deviate |
Yorisb: The Man was wrong because?? Or are u saying the ''fictional characters'' were to much for her to have resisted?if you read my post you'll see i said it was indecent and wrong of her to send nude pics to a stranger as a married woman. But her falling for him in d first place has taught d man her sensitive spots. If she was so much of a loose woman how come of all her online friends, she fell for him. |
@poster so if a man harasses you on the road you would thank him because you are not his 'equal'? Spare us the bullshit. The man is the head of the home, a woman must subject herself to her husband and her husband only. Why would i raise my daughters to feel inferior to thier brothers when i don't even feel inferior to thier father. Thats rubbish, i wonder if thats how your mother raised you. (its a simple observation not an insult) |
190: Hehehehe - A sharp nija man don host her locoare you an idiot? Is this supposed to be a joke |
Truth is the man was wrong, his fictional character possess the same personalities he does which made his wife fall for him in the first place. Very indecent of her to send her nude pics though, but if they took a second to think about it, they'll see that his actions have made the woman fall for him all over again, and that would spice up the marriage |
NRI PRIEST: Lets face it; genevieve is an average actor and she doesnt have the depth nor schooling to pull such HOLLYWOOD role off! She better go and start a thorough research so she doesnt embarrass Nigeria. She will be coming up with a fine nollywood star in the person of Chiwetel Ejioffor ! Nigerian education system is in the toilets!! Graduates cant even articulate themselves, convincingly ! Its a SHAME! This country has nothing to be proud of! All their great minds were schooled abroad!are you an idiot, who says this country has nothing to be proud of. Its fools like you that makes me ashamed to be a nigerian |
