So I got an unverified information regarding an intended strike action by the Non Academic Staff of Universities as soon as schools are reopened.
This means that Transcripts processing would be halted temporarily.

Please elders in the house is it wise to send transcripts before they start receiving applications. UIS for instance opens up arnd Dec 10 so can one send now??
I think the wisest thing to do now is to send a mail to the schools you wanna apply to informing them of this development

luckily for you they might consider

TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by trinityconcept(m): 6:40pm On Sep 23, 2020
IamkingP:
1) sponsor must be someone earning well and residing in Germany
2) your GP is not really bad but you have to put in more work on your CV and work experience
3) uni assist evaluates your documents and check if it meet the requirements of the University you are applying to .You apply through them and you have to pay some application fee
thanks

please gurus in the house I have a question
my initial plan was to go for msc in Norway so I have been in their study thread

however I bumped into this German thread and discovered it's cheaper cus the blocked account for Norway is about 5.3 million naira but Germany is roughly 4.5 mill

please my questions are

1. must your sponsor be from Germany what if he is from a higher country like the US

2 . I'm enrolling for masters degree I graduated with a 2.2 CGPA of 3.08
is there a chance of a2.2 graduate getting scholarship

thanks a lot you're all doing great job here
it really shows Nigerians love themselves
more questions please there are two things I dont understand here

what is testas exam
what is UNIASSIST all about

thanks

As we approach, the start of a new application. Do well to gather all required documents,

1) A copy of Certs and transcript to upload
2) also mail your transcript and certs directly from your school to the intend school you want to study, pls start early.
3) WAEC/ NECO Certs with scratch card.
4) CV, Letter of Motivations, and check if it's a requirement in the school you're applying to.
5) Bank statement showing 5.5M and sponsorship letter.
6) IELTS/TOEFL, some achools require this too.

I wish all prospective applicants good luck including myself smiley
thanks a lot na this 5.5 m just Dy fear me like mad

1. That he can be offered admission with 2.6
Or he should go ahead and apply for post graduate diploma here first

And I don't think PGD is an academic requirement o, I've only seen Bsc

What's ur Cgpa? Norwegian requires a minimum of "C" for their programmes..
This minimum of c is what I still don't understand what is it's equivalent in Nigeria , I made 3.08 though , I need this fct to be clear

No one here has a say or can predict application outcome. We only advise and guide. But if your undergraduate courses aligns with the intended MSC academic requirements and equals the needed ECTS, then you should apply.

My advise is to apply to all schools that matches your bsc requirements and hope for the best. You could be lucky - and note that high cgpa isn't the only determinant to being accepted for MSC studies in Norway. There are other considerations like ECTS requirements et al.

Aim for the moon(all) and if you miss you could be among the stars(receive admission to one or 2 perhaps).

Immense luck!!
Thanks that was so so encouraging
I'll aim for the best

I did biochemistry first degree,
I want to apply for public health or global health

But if that will be very competitive I don't mind going for biotechnology or biochemistry msc.

CuteTj:
@ Dumebi213

I was going to let him know that. He should not get too excited about selecting a "yeye course."

@ trinityconcept, what do you originally plan on studying and not your "yeye course" backup program?? Let me help you find out how many other applicants you may likely be competing against.
TravelRe: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by trinityconcept(m): 8:13pm On Aug 19, 2020
CuteTj:
Most schools request for a 2.1 and above because of the competitiveness of getting admission in some of their programmes.

But dont be scared. Even with a 1.0 gp (i am obviously joking) you can gain admission to some programmes e.g Bsc/Mc English, Bsc/Msc Primary School Teacher and some other courses that do not get too many applicants. While with 3.08, you definitely will not get into Psychology, Aviation, some serious engineering courses and other most sought after courses.

Ultimately, you gaining admission depends on the number of applicants also seeking for a place in that same programme/school. With your 3.08 you may not stand a chance and also with your 3.08, you should be admitted to a programme. It all depends on the number you are competing with for a place.
Thanks

Make I go look for one yeye course apply for
