So I've made my research as regards cgpa grading system in Norway


I realised that Norway has C+, C, and C-

however I can't tell if the C's I see as a requirement is the neutral C


Or it is for C+, C and C- collectively



I tried to convert Nigerian cgpa to Norway but I didn't get any clue so I had to quickly searvh for Norway cgpa vs American cgpa scale

Perharps it will be easier to get Nigeria vs America

So what I did was to convert my Nigerian cgpa to America then compare it in the American scale to the Norway equivalence

1) It's your cost of living so they'll remove it, you'd be given instructions by the school on admission

2) No one knows, we are all prospectives but you can try, it doesn't hurt to try

3) As far as i know, that seems to be what we need you can research more

1 the 5m we are required to wire to them is it from there that they will bring out our accomodation abi are we going to also send them accomodation money again

2. My cgpa is 3.08 I want to know the bench mark for the cgpa they collect

3 . Apart from that 5m, registration fee,visa fee , then flight ticked when u want to leave is there any other fee I'm expected to pay

Turkey is a developed nation and living expenses a bit low to most EU countries unfortunately higher than African countries, due to this hustling wages is low as well although paid qualified job like academic field (Lecturer, graduate assistants, researcher)is comparable to most universities in the USA, UK and Most EU and many other qualified certificate based jobs.

As a student, you can live a moderate life of 350lira monthly including accommodation based on location in Turkey (small cities or district are cheaper compared to Bigger cities like Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir etc)and you might find casual hustling jobs ranging 600-1500 lira monthly (construction jobs (Tedious and laborious), hotel job, car wash, grass cutting, mechanic etc). Note that, most jobs will or might require you to have basic or advance Turkish language proficiency (to live better, you need to learn Turkish). As a student, you are limited due to lectures, homework and most employers might not want get you work permit and if you work illegal, might be hazardous.

I will advise you have full finance possibly 1year or more before you embark on the journey. You should have full tuition fees , accommodation and living expenses for whole one year or more, after which you must have mastered the environment and find your way around.

Note: Turkey do not like drug paddlers, criminal act cos all these will lead you into deep hole jail which you might be forgotten for years. Most of the hustling jobs are just for sustainable living not to make you buy hummer jeep or build castle. Do try smaller cities like Izmir, Tuzla, mamara etc for your studies. wish you luck!

I will say a little and advice you read page one do the thread and try and read as many pages as possible.

There is something called blocked account fee which is compulsory ( except you get student loan or scholarships) that is around 8864 euro (over 3 m) other things put together will not cost you a million. So I will advice you read the thread from page one so that you know the steps to be taken

I initially wanted to go to Norway and started following the thread, but I somehow stumbled on the German thread and I have been on it from that day. I don't go a day without opening the thread and I have read from part 2 to the last page on the current part.

I applied to about 3 schools for summer semester 2018. They all rejected me (with good reasons though) except for FAU that rejected me just because of cetification. I was heartbroken.

I only applied to those 3 schools for summer because I didn't want to go through UNIASSIST because of financial reasons.

TIMELINE:

Applied for Admission: 02-12-2017
Opened Fintiba: 20-12-2017
Received Admission: 13-02-2018
Interview: 28-05-2018
Sent blocked account confirmation: 15-06-2018
AM dropped: 25-06-2018.


I am not sure where I am going yet. I have admission for University of Freiberg. (Environmental Geoscience)

Still expecting from Leibniz universitat Hannover (Water Resourses and Environmental Management), University of Bayreuth( Environmental Geography) and Kiel (Marine Geoscience).

The one month wait for the AM was really a tough one. Even though I was very confident of my interview, I was still kinda worried.

Good morning guys. I often get emails from people who want information about the admission procedure in Russian universities. I've talked about this in the past and I gave comprehensive details about the admission process and visa application but let me touch on it again.

Like I tell everyone, you do not need an agent to do this for you, the process is very transparent and you can do it yourself. I did mine myself without agents and you can do it too.

Right now, admission has started in every university in Russia, admission procedure varies from one university to the other so I’ll recommend every prospective Master or Bachelor's Degree seeking student visit https://www.bachelorsportal.com/ and https://www.mastersportal.com/ and then search for their desired course while ticking Russian as destination country. Visit the school’s website and then get all the information they need.
The name of my university is National Research University Higher School Of Economics Moscow. My school also has campuses in St Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod.
Admission into Russian universities are transparent and open to everyone and tuition feee is always around $1500 to $10,000 depends on the school, state and language of instruction. Studying in Russian language is always cheaper than studying in English, but first you need to learn Russian language for one year in the preparatory department.

My schools website is https://www.hse.ru/ in my university getting admission into Masters program is easier than Bachelors, admission into bachelors degree programs requires a compulsory entrance test in Mathematics, Physics and English or Russian language, depends on the program. I don't think the Masters degree programs require any further entrance test just your BSc result and transcript.

There are also scholarship opportunities for all programs from the Russian Government and each university also offer discounts to best performing students.

For prospective Bachelor's degree students, you need to write an entrance exam so prepare for this. Also note that to study in Russia you first need to go to Ministry of Education in Abuja and certify your WAEC result and your BSC cert if you are going for masters, then proceed to Ministry of Foreign affairs to Legalize the waec and bsc and you also need to legalize those documents at the Russian embassy in Abuja before applying for visa.


The process isn’t as hard as you might think so don’t fall victim to agents who will charge you exorbitant rates to do this for you, as long as you’re not lazy, all the information you need is available online before you ask anyone questions, just go to google and search or go directly to the schools website or send an email to the school and they will reply you. You can process everything yourself.

Whenever you have adequate ties in Nigeria, plus genuine reason plus financial capability to travel, your Visa will be granted. For all my life I have dealt with Americans, they are always always willing to help. But you must have a genuine reason. Which most Nigerian applicants do not have.

Those yet to receive admission decisions should still keep calm. it is still rolling out. I just received mine now from dreamapply. Accepted for my first course, awaiting decision for my second course.
