TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 11:08am On Aug 02, 2018
Good day everyone, what kind of foodstuff can I travel with? I know I can go with garri and crayfish (properly packed). What of something like kilishi?
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 2:43pm On Jul 30, 2018
I should be in Abu Dhabi next week by Gods grace. Do you have anywhere that would be easily accessible to Muroor road?
tolanibae:
I can only help if you are in Abu Dhabi
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 4:51pm On Jul 27, 2018
Yes
simba01:
You got the job online from Nigeria here?
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 1:38pm On Jul 27, 2018
I'm not using an agent, I got the job online. The company PRO told me the visa would take 5 working days, didn't say anything else. I did the medicals in ph, took immunizations too, very comprehensive.
SirWellington:
I doubt if this is possible because you are meant to do your medicals in the UAE, but prior to that one, you are supposed to run a medical check up here in Nigeria at the accredited hospitals and attest the result at the UAE embassy. Hope you trust this your agent, cos haven't heard of this before. By the way where and how did they conduct your medicals for you?
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 10:38pm On Jul 26, 2018
Yes, I did.
SirWellington:
I don't get, they did the medicals for you here in Nigeria? I am lost please.
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 9:52pm On Jul 26, 2018
I've already gotten medical clearance, the company already did medicals and gave me clearance, so it's biometrics next?
SirWellington:
lol... I really don't know much, the little I know is based on what I have learnt here. Well, to answer your question, the next step will be for you to proceed to Abuja where you will do your medicals at the accredited hospitals (two of which have been listed few pages back), after that is done you will then proceed to the embassy where you will attest the medical report, then follow the process to getting your sticker visa, then you proceed to the UAE, the earlier you get on this process the better for you.
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 5:21pm On Jul 26, 2018
Abeg, you seem to know alot about all this. I just signed my labour contract (I'm in Naija), what's the next step, is it e-visa? And how would I still need to go to Abuja?
SirWellington:
How far? Have you traveled?
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 3:14pm On Jul 03, 2018
Thanks for this. I've read through most of the pages and not seen to much on employment/residence visa. Is this also applicable? The biometrics, medicals and all that?
justi4jesu:
Okay let me tackle this issue that is confusing all of you and for those giving out wrong information here.

Once your E-Visa is out and your agent sends it to you, then you have 45 days to visit the Abuja embassy for bio metrics/Payment and sticker, after that they give you appointment date for visa stamping/collection.

Because if you don't go to the embassy early, the visa might expire in your hands within those 45 days pending when you get an appointment at the Embassy.

After your visa sticker has been stamped on your passport, you have roughly 50-60 days validity to enter the U.A.E.

But I always advise travelers to leave within 1 month of receiving his/her visas from Abuja embassy.

Hope this helps.
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 9:56pm On Jun 27, 2018
Okay, would they request I go to Abj for biometrics for this?
LEOSIRSIR:
OTB is a message entered in the airline's reservation system against your PNR number. It means that your paper-based visa (one that is not stamped in the passport) has been inspected and validated), and that airline check-in staff can issue you aboarding pass and allow you to board the flight.

TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 5:45pm On Jun 27, 2018
Okay, I should check dubbizle? And also how accessible is al muroor road (sultan bin zayed the first street)?
LEOSIRSIR:
Corniche area is like living in banana island, there are many places you can stay that won't be beyond your budget. Try Electra, al falah,
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 12:24pm On Jun 27, 2018
Please can someone explain what an 'onboarding visa' is? And to live in Abu Dhabi, what are the good areas that aren't overpriced like corniche.
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 1:49pm On Jun 22, 2018
I don't mean it like that. Alot of people come here for information, it's better they get it through a reliable source, someone that has actually gotten someone in. That website (wordpress) was opened this month. There are scammers in all threads oo
spartacus11:
How exactly do u want to do 3 months visa urself?
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 2:25pm On Jun 19, 2018

I don't think its a scam. I've been seeing some insane offers from friends and colleagues since oil price picked up
nnamdi16:
I'm sorry, but this offers looks fishy, but very good. Mind you, good offers like this are always scam.

Be guided
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 8:58am On Jun 12, 2018
Thanks. What of using an agent for MOE and MOFA movement, then doing the embassy waka myself?
Ijiimmayi:
U only need eligibility letter if u are attesting your waec result. But for degree u don't need eligibility letter.
But for u to get the eligibility letter u must hv 5credits including English and maths. And u will attest it too both in MOFA and UAE embassy. Congrats
TravelRe: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by trintuoyo: 8:43am On Jun 12, 2018
I just got a job in abu dhabi (direct employment) and was told to go attest my certificate. Can i use an agent to do the MOE and MOFA part then go to the embassy myself during the last stage? Also, do I need eligibility letter? Because i'm currently working and cant travel often.
