Got there around 8.45am. It is boldly written on d banner in front of there office that change of name is 500 naira. Pay on remita before going.

When u enter through d gate, to your right is servicom and NIMC where capturing is done for NIN, dont turn right, turn to your left just keep checking of the walls of the building, u will see NIN banner, the entrance after this banner, enter and tell them u want to do change of name. Don't let those hungry officer at d gate stop u.

I have been there before. I knew the place.
I made my remita payment since May.

Just go to remita website, navigate to NIMC column, then u select payment for change of name.

So you go along with your remita receipt print out, photocopy of news paper publication, court affivadit for name change and marriage certificate.

I don't have any connection there, it is not needed.

We (myself and wifey) were at Ikoyi Passport Office today. Got there around few minutes to 9am, proceeded for NIN change of name and also went to servicom straight as advised here.

Finished with NIN change of name around 1pm, much crowd in NIMC compared to Passport processing. After collecting tracking number for the new NIN slip to be issued, we were told that until after 24 - 72 hours before the slip will be ready, I was like , the flimpsy excuse was that it's because we are doing modification and not new application. So that's how we couldn't capture today..... I have done all servicom ask us to do, photocopied the form given already and filled.


So for guys that went there recently, please do they still ask applicant to wait for SMS to come for capture or its done same day? Though i heard one of the servicom guys told a guy after setting up his file to go for capturing, but not sure..... Was so disorganized when we were told we won't get for NIN slip to proceed.

Lest I forget, there is an immigration officer there called Oodo, Can't remember his initials, this man keeps terrorising people, at least i can count 5 ppl he harrassed with his over sabi, u can try avoid him as much as u can.

Honestly let's call a spade a spade she wasn't wrong by slapping her....she is human.. Why do we see wives as a nobody in their matrimonial homes. The sister in law is just so spoilt and should be the one to apologize.If my brother's wife slapped my sis for bringing in a man to sleep with,I will make sure I also join my sister in law in giving my sister extra slaps so that her brain can reset to normal.
