I gave to my twin boys yesterday April 23 . Twin 1 came 5:35am, 1.99 while twin 2 came ten minutes after, 2.12kg......36+6 days .both babies are doing incredible. I've started nursing sef. vaginal delivery with epi and tear ( despite being tiny)

I had a membrane sweep on that Wednesday, and I had been feeling contractions but they were irregular. I managed till Thursday night when my mom called and I described how I was feeling to her ( back to stomach contractions) she asked us to go the hospital, that was around 9pm o...
I was checked and I was only 2cm dilated but my cervix was soft. the doctor then gave me medication for the pain and asked me to rest. I was jejely sleeping on my own o with slight contractions when I just felt a pop ( infact, I heard it). it was hot and plenty. At around 3am, the nurse then took me to the labour room, checked me, I was 6cm, she was surprised.. I started growling and begging for medication, I was in so much pain and agony. the contractions came and kept coming. nurse said she would check me by 6am. 3 hours felt like forever. by 5:10am, I started having the urge to push, she asked me not to that I could tear my cervix, I tried but it was so hard not to push. at 5:35 twin A came, his brother came 10 minutes after. vaginal delivery. may God take control of our births

I can't eat beef, fish, chicken or turkey. But you see intestines, I dey finish work.

Today, I had 2 wraps of semo, egusi and N800 intestines. I finished it and said yes! E no even reach me sef.


On another note, second time, third time and even fourth time mamas with toddlers, please and please, how are you coping? I need tips biko, because ike a gwugo m! O ti remi! Infact, my tired is tired.

I have an active one year old that makes me run around the house, because she keeps going to the wrong places. DH has warned me to stop running after her but I can't help it. She seems to enjoy it when you pursue her, she'll run even faster. She's one year, but her legs are steadier than mine. I'm happy she's getting a sibling soon.

If it's not that, it's my tummy. It's now her pillow, and she doesn't treat it gently sef.

She pinches my nipples, isn't that risky?

And she's always dragging my fruits with me

If she sees me sitting on her daddy's laps or we're having a private conversation, she comes around to stand in front of us as if to inquire why she wasn't invited in the meeting.

I've told hubby, he'll come back from work one day to find that I've put her in a night bus to Ogharra to go and stay with her grandparents.

Good morning fruitful mothers in the house. Pls I need your advice on this issue. I am 30yrs and I and hubby been trying to conceive since 2016, after test results the problem is coming from hubby. He was diagnosed with Azoospermia, with that am still working in faith with him that God can change things, just recently my mother has been telling hubby to take another wife. Is not that am a bad wife to them .Am good to everyone wch they always confirm that too. But since my mother inlaw altered that from her mouth my love for hubby and his families gradually decline. Pls do u think I can do. Only you can understand my pain. Thanks.

Happy Easter ma'am, families are another thing to deal with when dealing with TTC.
the family may not know the issue is with your D.H that's why they encourage him to take another wife.
let me tell you what I did when D.H families want to mess with my sanity each time we meet at functions. they would call family gathering after function and it will be to pray for me, they would ask me to kneel down while they pray for the fruit of the womb for me ooo. they succeeded the first time, the second time they were shocked as I refuse to kneel and ask their son to kneel, being the one that owns the seed that would turn to fruit in my own womb, he also needs prayer for seed of the penis nao.
I didn't disgrace my hubby, he understands quite well, we have been in this together, and since all medical and traditional tests says we are fine, why would I allow people look at me as if I am the one with issue.
I even overhead them saying why did he marry Omo Eko, and I told them may they have a longer taste of what I am passing through right now, that would explain to them that TTC has no affiliation with tribe or language.

Please and please, your mental health matters alot, I want to believe you are still the best person to advice yourself on this issue. do whatever gives you peace of mind before considering what will people say.

Birth Story

Pregnancy was a smooth ride. I had plenty cold water and sweet junks and food unlike my first boy's pregnancy. I also learnt its normal for some babies not be naturally very active (Jackie chan kind of active) in the womb. Naturally. The very gentle ones. Few kicks here and there but no dramatic turnings.

So after my wedding dec 2018, i and hubby continued enjoying our lives thinking that baby will come at the right time lol. when we waited for like 5months, i started getting worried because i even thought i would take in immediately considering the fact that i be "holy holy" and that hubby was my first and only ( i no know say life no be so..lol). My mum and sisters started asking how far too. though hubby wasn't worried, he always told me to calm down. We don't live in the same city, he comes like twice in a month to see me...and i would always calculate my ovulation day and fix a date for him to come (still no show). 

well before the lockdown, my sister told me about a fertilityclinic i and i booked an appointment online. I went there alone, met with a doctor, did some series of test and they said they needed hubby too for his own test. We went there together when he came around. I was thinking they would maybe prescribe a drug or so, but they suggested we go for an iui. 
And Because i was desperate, i agreed. They gave us the estimate and we left. 

Then lockdown came...lol.  And then pregnancy came too. �� on its own. 

First trimester was hardddddd...was admitted in the hospital four good times. I couldn't eat or drink anything.Second trimester was manageable, although I was still weak. I even had a very serious tooth ache that led to removal of one of my tooth. 

Third trimester was my best, i was very energetic, i ate alot and was very smart at work too. 

At 38weeks, i ate peinapple because i wanted to induce labor, it gave me serious stomach pain till i threw up. At 39 weeks i applied for mat leave because my mum was already around. While at home, i was still exercising, doing chores and using the stairs for exercise.Bought castor oil one day and mixed with orange juice and drank, i had Same stomach pain till i threw up. 

At 39weeks 5days, 12am i started having contractions. I waited till 4am before going to the hospital, got to the hospital around 5am. I was checked and the doctor said i was 2cm (mogbe!! even with all the wait). She said i will be checked every 4hrs (Even the checking na war o). All these while, contraction pains was mad. I don beat everybody around me...lol. At about 11am, i was 6cm and by 3pm i was in the  delivery room. 

When told me to push, i started pooing oo...lol. They asked me to push the second time and i pooed again. I started apologizing to the nurses cos at this point, they covered their noses because of the smell...Hehehehe.
When i tried the third time, my baby came out and i felt relieved immediately and I was stiched.

I thank God for seeing me through this journey from the beginning to the end, i thank members of this group for lessons learnt. I pray fo safe delivery for the pregnant mamas on here and a BFP to those TTC.
