I bring to this house good tidings! To the glory of the most high God, My triplets have made their grand entrance. EDD - 14th March. DOB - 29th January.
It's 2 BBBs & 1 BBG.
BS:
It was a stress free pregnancy. No sickness, no case of emergency etc. Even at my last antenatal visit (ie) @ 33wks, my doctor told me that he is so surprised that with triplets pregnancy I was still able to come from home without issues. He said that all the triplets pregnancy he has managed before now are always admitted in the hospital btw wk 27 & 30 because of one issue or another.
My colleagues as well talks abt my flexibility. Everyone keeps admiring my flexibility.
The nurses also keeps praising my agility.
So I was scheduled for elective CS on 29th of Jan at exactly 34wks. Was taken to the theatre @ 8 am for the surgery. Regional anesthesia was administered two times but all to no effect. Then the anesthesiologist decided to administer the general anesthesia. Na so una sister was knocked out only to woke up hearing the screams of her triplets trying to shut down the hospital.
My joy knows no bound as DH's face was covered with tears of joy. We are all in good & perfect conditions.
It's a thing of joy having four babies in two pregnancy journey. It's a complete family with 2 boys & 2 girls offsprings.
Boots hung up for all the GTC mums out there. My testimony is infectious & will infect all GTC mums.
My able march cappo @ Mzleemah & all my march teamies, na so una sister take port to January ooooo.

My baby boy landed Jan 17th through E/C-section. Mummy, papa n my soldiers are doing well.

Nothing special, went to hospital Dec 27th to try my luck cos I was tired but yimu I got sent back home, went back Jan 17th n my baby was brought out. Officially mama boys. I have thrown the boots inside Atlantic ocean so we are done.

same at my end in primary health care centre at jakande isolo but other prices depends on the age of the child. they can charge as much as 700 to 1000 for children above 2 years. and that matron always collecting 100 naira per patient for children's immunisation for gloves be aware that Govenment supplies them gloves and even when you bring your gloves she doesn't care she still collects it. God is watching you on 3D one day bush meat go catch the hunter.

It is well mama, above all, please try and put your mind at rest, you can see everyone is giving one advice or the other, please it is important you keep your mind calm, do not stress yourself too much. I believe all things are possible.

Hello mamas/papas in the house. Great job with this thread...I have been on this thread for sometime now but I am seriously considering going for an IVF because it seems like my best option right now.

I got married in mid 2016 and hubby and I were apart for a year. But we have been together for over 2 years now but nothing...never been pregnant even once. Anyways, we started seeing a reproductive endocrinologist recently and he is suggesting IVF. DH's sperm analysis showed low motility and zero normal shaped. He has also had one testicle removed and an hernia surgery. The doctor said he is not so worried about the motility because he can help improve that but that the absence of any normal shaped semen is his fear.

Now, we are in the US and IVF is crazy expensive here but dh and I have decided to take a loan or whatever and do it (apart from the sperm issues, we are both AS and were planning to do Amniocentesis or something along that line). However, now since we have not even been able to conceive, we think we will be killing two birds with a stone (very expensive stone though).


My questions then are:
1. Would the issue of having no normal shaped semen not also affect the success rate of the IVF
2. Has anyone on this thread (or anyone you know) done IVF in the US? Need to ask some questions
3. Any general advise for me and my issues

Welcome mama, other sabi mamas will say one or two things to you once they are online. meanwhile, try natural methods like fruit and healthy eating for your hubby, no smoking, no drinking and no placing of his laptop on his thigh, he shouldn't drive long distance too or anythung that could cause heat or discomfort to his scrotum. And I believe in miracle sha.

Finally TTC isn't a Nigerian. Jaymamma I am so happy for you. May your child fulfill destiny, and may the heavens on BFP be opened upon us all here.

From my various hospital visit experience oo, this your folic acid is very good, please continue using it, it comes with B6 and B12 that is a plus on its own. maybe the clinic has some drugs they sell to pregnant woman and they felt you might say no since you are already using folic acid.

Good Afternoon Mums.
I'm presently 6 weeks and 4 days gone. Went to the hospital last week but was told to come back when i'm 12 weeks to start ante natal. Nothing was carried out on me, is this the norm? When i told the doci was using folic acid, he told me to stop until they give me their prescribed drugs. I was given only PCM when i complained of weakness and body pain.
I need to know if all these are normal. I presently feel severe weakness and headache and i don't have appetite most times, i just eat to fill my stomach. Is there anything i can do or any drugs i can start taking to relieve me of how i feel?

Only God knows how some Doctor pass their medical college, my sister, though I am not pregnant yet, but I can tell that one of the most important drugs not to joke with as a woman is folic acid, please continue taking your folic acid. other preggy mamas will attend to your questions about tiredness once they comes online. Happy and healthy 9 months to you.
