I met this lady on Facebook, she stay in Abuja while i stay in Jos... she sent me a friend request, asked for my number, called me and before you know it we started dating. As day went by, the relationship grew stronger and stronger. A day came when I asked her for money and she sent me #5,000 then a week later she sent me another #5,000 and last week she sent me another #5,000. Then on Monday she sent me her nude picture without asking for it. It was then i realized that if i don't end the relationship quickly she would ruin my marriage. My wife was beginning to suspect something because i usually give her my phone anytime, in fact my phone is her own but since I met this girl online I've become so greedy with my phone. Then I told the girl I'm no more interested in the relationship and the girl took it serious, she sent me a text message threatening my life. I didn't take her threat serious not knowing the girl is highly connected both military and police. She came to jos because of me on friday and through her connection, she reported me to the police headquarters here in jos with the following allegations. She said I blackmailed her with her nude pictures, she also claimed I scammed her of all the money she sent to me. The police headquarters immediately ordered my arrest. Then I received a call to come to Avis restaurant here in jos for a business discussion not knowing it was the police, I went there & immediately i sat down, more than five heavily armed policemen approached me with an Army captain who happened to be her boy friend & arrested me. They took me to the police headquarters like a wanted criminal. They signed some papers & ordered that I be remanded in prison & wait for my arraignment in court. I asked for my phone which they collected from me so I could call my lawyer but they refused. As I was about being taken to the state prison, A high ranking police officer asked what crime I committed & they just told him Blackmail & online scam, he then ordered us back to his office to know the full story. We went to his office, he asked the girl to narrate her part of the whole thing which she did with serious tears to make it look true and after she finished, i also narrated mine & told him i have all the evidence in my phone. he directed them to give me back my phone then i showed him all evidences from our chat with her. He asked her to show him evidence of Blackmail & the alleged scam but she couldn't. He then ordered my immediate release & told the officers who arrested me that they are not qualified to be police officers. I came back home thanking for saving me, I would have been in prison for nothing. My joy became double after we won the FA Cup yesterday. Guys let's be careful.

I have experienced the same fate in the hands of men in uniform twice in my life. That's why I don't take rape cases serious. (EXCEPT WHEN A MINOR IS DEFILED/ABUSED OR WHEN THE MAN WAS CAUGHT IN THE ACT!!!)

people are just too wicked and heartless, I posted a phone here on nairaland yesterday, today a guy called me Nd we had agreement to meet at ikeja, I call the fool twice before f I start going there, I even call the wherey wen am in the bus he said no problem I should be coming, I spent almost 1,500 from Sango ota to Ikeja, guess what Wen I get to Ikeja, the fool started decline my calls I call him several times he continued declined it Nd he didn't show up, I even told him I don't have money for transport he z no problem I should be coming, getting to Ikeja the wherey no show up, if not for God today I go still dey on d road trecking back to Sango ota by now, I don't know why people are like that on nairaland,
