To me, the seller was transparent enough to post a car at that conditions. Many sellers would have borrowed money to fix it up and refund when they have successful converge with a maga. And besides, the accident is at the rear, so, I think its less risky.

For the 1.6m price tag, I believe that should be the asking price and it is still a subject to further negotiation.

There's no any maga thing here Bro. Quality for cars isn't cheap. If a dealer brings in a clear title, low milleage car at a fairly higher price and the seller fixes a higher price based on the purchase price and other factors, will Nigerian customers be willing to pay for it? That's when you'll hear Emeka is selling his own N1, so why's yours N1:20k. Most people want quality cars but bear in mind it'll come at a higher cost

incogni2o:
haha, I even thought like 800K

How can you think 800k. How much is the cost of the car? Towing, Ocean freight? Clearing? Make we dey fear God o. Not justifying the price though, but then we should be fair and considerate

All to trend and shift attention from Corona.
Take these politicians serious at your peril. They say something and do something completely opposite.

I tell you Bro. It's an age long battle of Superiority between those beautiful machines especially by the adherents. The users of each of the brands have really handled support for those brands as a religion that's why I used the word " Adherents"

Bros, why are you trying to create a fight between 2 brothers. Anyway don't worry the Toyota gang will soon be here. The stage is set, the ring is open. Oya 1, 2, 3 go

Obanaijacom:
Hello Team,

Please I need an honest price quote, because this issue is gone out of hand.

before the lock-down my wife and I wanted to buy a Toyota Corolla 2007 Model to be precise and we wanted it in mint condition, I have spoken to a lot of dealers even here on Nairaland.com and I made up my mind that a budget of 1.4 to 1.6 million would get us a very neat car, so we decided to give the cash to my wife's younger brother who is also a dealer, but till this moment as i speak he is claiming that we still owe him 450,000, that due to the corona virus and the lock down that the said car cost him more and also the exchange affected the cost of everything and that he got it at a very high rate and would sell to us at 1.850 One million eight hundred and fifty thousand naira. please is this not a rip off ... dealers help me out.

Bros, if the car is neat and in good condition with good Custom papers, go on your kneels and thank him. You can appreciate him more with a cold bottle of wine. Dollar is between 450-480. Exchange rate for custom is N362. You can only get a 2004- 2005model for between 1.6 - 1.7 now. You may be lucky if it's an old stock

Bros, where my share of the profit na. At least you suppose pay tithe. My own fit no be 10% Sha. Lol

OfficialSam:
Is it only me that thinks this moniker belongs to the same OP. Marketing strategy sha. Yes, the car is clean. But 2.3M is a capital NO for me. Methinks 1.9M to 2M is okay Mr. Seller.

*Modified*

Op, this sweet baby was sold for 1.850m few days ago. It's even a 2008 Corolla. Nna don't be too greedy biko.

I have always said it that no two cars are the same. Even if they are of the same model. I actually went to the preshipment pics before I made my comments about the state of the car. I don't know the op and my comments were based on my observation and assessment of the car. You can even get a 2008 for less but the quality in all ramifications would not be the same. Cheers

Mad ride I must confess

Mad indeed . No wonder you took it to church for anointing with oil. Good paint job though

Hmmmm
