Customs still dey collect even when papers complete?

Bros papers no dey always complete. Most dealers usually pay compromised fees or they shortpay the duties. However, if the shortpay or compromised duty is good enough, they may just overlook then you settle them as you go with the vehicle. If dealers are to pay the normal full custom duty, most buyers won't be able to afford a car o. Like the normal Surface duty for a Toyota Corolla 2013 is about 650k with other charges inclusive would be running to 1.250m-1.3m for full duty. However, some dealers would pay like 400k Surface duty rather than the 650k to make the total custom duty with other charges to come to about 950k. That's the way it's done. You just settle custom officers on the road with between 2-3k

I am currently in the market for a foreign used Lexus and this salvage/lemon/rotten thing is driving me crazy!!

Immediately the VIN reveals the nature of the thing before me, I take off! No be me my village people go use shine

The title must be clean and I'm willing to pay waaay extra for this

Seriously, instead of govt. regulation limiting the age of cars that can be imported, they should have placed a total ban on lemons and all things scrap instead.

There is no joy in shelling out several millions and taking home some piece of scrap because of some super greedy car dealer who even desperately tries to hide the true condition of the car you want to buy!!

Bro no pun intended. Car dealers are not to be blamed. The solution to the problem is simple. When you want to buy a car, tell the dealer you want a clean title vehicle. Those categories are always available but not at the regular market price.
