I believe the problem is that many companies do not know that there are many grades of developers. They think they can get the best of developers for salaries less than 200k because the country is hard, but people like me will have none of that.

As for me, I have been able to get a fair arrangement.

One just has to keep going on strong and good in your field, trust me the opportunity will come, programming ideas are evolving daily and programmers will be needed to solve these.

A company called me up earlier this year, after all the rigmarole, they now announced my salary the salary of their enemy as 150k/month. Err, you should know the rest of the story now. . . .there are 3 likely possibilities:

Bro. 150k, but seriously how do you get yr clientele, this same naija programmers dey earn 400-500k to 900k in some firms, i know cause my guy just collect new official car from office plus new ride for house, so i think we should push for better firms who can afford it, the salary will be commensurate.

An individual, who identifies as an All Progressives Congress supporter, had shared the full image of Ms. Buhari’s travel passport to one of The Trent’s editors on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He claimed that the woman in the photo was the Aisha Buhari mentioned in the William Jefferson bribery scandal. Normally, we wouldn’t publish this image, but it has already been circulated widely.

Ms. Buhari reportedly stressed that though she shares the same name with the wife of Nigeria’s president, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, she’s not the person mentioned in the bribery scandal. She described the circulation of her name and image in the scandal as malicious and wicked.

She said that her personal date provided in the news reports were taken from her stolen passport. She also maintained that she lives in the United States of America and travels “in and out” of the country without any problems, maintaining that one involved in such a scandal would have been apprehended by the US law enforcement agencies.

She said that dragging her name into the scandal “is like pouring water on a sleeping person. I have never done anything with Halliburton, I don’t know the colour of the company. I am not in the line of business with Halliburton, so linking me with the bribery is wicked”.

“They are desperate to cover their dirty track and link my name with the scandal that they have to first of all steal my passport. My passport was stolen early this year. And to give credibility to their story, details from the passport were used. They should come to the US, to find out If they are curious about the case”, she said angrily.

“If somebody commits crime in the US, he or she must face trial. Have you heard I am being tried in the US?

”Let them stop this malicious allegation against me that they do not have proof of, I hate people who do not cross check facts before talking, they should find out in the US the kind of person I am because I belong to organisations there.

“If they think they are politician and can break the law and go free, they should realise that nobody is above the laws of a country including me.

When asked if Ms. Aisha Buhari would take legal action against the people circulating her image and passport and linking her to the Halliburton scandal, ”I am talking with my lawyers, they will determine that”, she said.

Wait, before programming section is disgraced on FP, @OP, you need to see my evaluation - this thing is not a search engine!!!

Issues:

1. Due to unscalable large image, it does not scale well to some certain small screens. Resize your browser to see. So i will say it is semi-responsive.

2. The search dey tale too much - even when it has no result to show.

3. The search does not save the searched data into the browser. So if you search and was able to get results to show, refreshing the browser will 'lost your result' so you got to search all over again.

4. Due to error number 3, you cannot bookmark a search result page.

5. I cannot see any search result even when i used popular keywords like goat, oloshi.

6. When you search and the search thing start rolling (sometimes for like 20 minutes - without showing results), you cannot cancel the search and search for another thing.

7. I observed that nairaland is already submitted to the search engine - and yet i cannot search for anything on nairaland and have the result displayed.

8. When you search for something and it does not exist, the search engine just keep quiet.

It is freaking slow. . . . . . . . .and slugggggish. . . . . .

Disclaimer: I mean no offence but it is what i saw that i say, if you are in doubt, please check for yourself.

OP Nice concept, na somewhere google take start, but seriously if u wanna get somewhere with this,
1.go with the above advice, the search is too slow,
2.yr ajax use is a non issue use "get" abeg,
3 yr green color boring and dull, yr favicon dull not catchy/sharp not standing out,
4 spacing of the search items too wide apart, no pagination to determine how many pages,
5 meta details of each search not provided(i cannot just click for clicking sake) and
6 please it is too early for advert you can say contact us here simple, wetin, na so u like advert, dn't give yrself away too fast na, money go come but do am well.

To learn android it is not just about picking up a book to learn, u need to be grounded in some other languages first, ok if u are going for native platform u need to at least know java and how to move around it platform maybe eclipse or android studio but u need java basics, then if going with cross platform using phongap/cordova u need html,css,javascript basics, so u gat to choose wat u want, so which do want and hope u understand.

How much did they charge u, i can hook up to some1 in the field, u will learn and be able to use it practically if interested, check my sig.
