lordZOUGA:
The obvious explanation is that the Android OS is increasing in popularity. As a developer, you want your app to be used by a lot of people so naturally, it makes sense to develop for a platform where a lot of people are moving to or already are.

Play store gets lots of downloads from users everyday. I have seen some apps that doesn't even work well or offer very limited features get up to 100,000 downloads. If your app doesn't get discovered, either you didn't promote it well or it isn't as useful as you think it is.

I developed for Blackberry once. *thinks about it* *shivers*

What is sql server, or rather, what is a server? Can i create a school database system for storing fees payments, and retrieving data required of each student/pupil with MS SQL SERVER ? lastly, what is the differtence between ms sql server, and oracle? Pls help

Microsoft SQL Server is a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) developed by Microsoft. It is a highly scalable product that can be run on anything from a single laptop, to a network of high-powered cloud servers, and anything in between. Of course, by "anything", it still needs to satisfy the usual hardware and software requirements, but these requirements are reasonably modest, considering what SQL Server is capable of.

SQL Server is the number 1 most-used database in the world. Well, according to Microsoft it is! But they could be right - it's certainly widely used.

read more and learn mssql server database here http://www.quackit.com/sql_server/sql_server_2014/tutorial/about_sql_server.cfm

erm if u wanna create a school database system for storing fees payments, and retrieving data u go need learn not only MS SQL SERVER but a programming language with which u will use to pull the data (possibly c# or vb.net)

please I wanna become a software developer and I'm not yet in university but soon.please what should I be expecting because some ppl said IITs quite difficult and ion wanna believe them..thanks in Advance

Yep good decision [especially for a female], i will advice since u nt yet in school, relax and enjoy programming - pick JavaScript, yep u read me right pick java script a very cool language to start with, u can only use it in the browser side but u can design cool apps with it ranging from mobile apps(andriod, ios, windows, blackberry apps), web apps, computer and video games, yeso its a cool language to get started with.

Then as u progress u can pick up php/mysql [language of the web], furthering to c#/mssql server

But the main thing u should aim at is as u learn these languages pls try think about a problem u can use these langs. to solve that should be yr main goal as u seek for solutions to the problem, u tend to research more in a language hence u attain deeper knowledge in that language

*Note these are languages i have used to work with for fun and for the industry

u can start at w3schools.com

Built this http://www.beesheyosstores.com for a client, if u want a jumia like site no problem, check my signature for my number

But android supports all image types, if i export my image as circular from photoshop or fireworks without background i can import same to android and it will still retain the shape without code.

Ok Djanj really trying to go international with a beat like that that resembles David guetta beats and the message too, extraordinary, this might really really be a stepping stone for Dbanj on the global scale, kudos to him

1. Choose your fights wisely. Manny has been asking for this fight for 5 years now but Floyd kept turning it down because he was studying his style. Manny has fought 57 matches in this category and lost or drew 5 of them. Floyd has fought 48 matches (today's own inclusive) in this category and won all. That's because he chooses his fights wisely. Life's lesson: don't be everywhere doing everything. Be tactful. Prepare well and give it a go when you are ready. Don't hustle, strategize instead. Don't beat the air, study to show yourself approved.

2. Do what matters. Floyd threw very few punches but they were clean punches that hit the right points. Manny was busy throwing plenty many punches. I watched that closely. Life's lesson: Don't just get busy, get busy doing what counts. Success in life is not about activities, it is about doing what is required.
3. Don't be in a hurry to succeed. When you meet a tough challenge, be determined to overcome it and concentrate throughout. Manny is a tough hustler throwing plenty punches from first round. Floyd, from time is known to use his first 9 rounds to study his opponent and the last 3 to finish that opponent. This was exactly what played out again. Life's lesson: to succeed, you need to take your time. There's no prize for being the youngest achiever. Professor at 32 years of age and professor at 67 years of age are both professors.

4. God is not partial. He gives success to the best person either you are arrogant or not, either you profess Jesus or not. Floyd is arrogant but he's an excellent boxer. Pac is humble, evangelizes from the ring and professes Jesus countless times but that wasn't enough to win. It wasn't a fight of Jesus against the devil, its just a sport competition between two humans. Dangote is the richest man in Africa, he's not a christian but he's good at his business. Life's lesson: being a christian doesn't mean God will circumvent and disregard natural laws of success for you to be the best. Being the best is a personal effort, God's part is to crown your efforts and make it easier for you.

5. Don't respond to critics, just do your thing! Don't worry if people don't like your style, just continue to succeed. That's all that matters anyway. A lot of people didn't support Mayweather because he's arrogant but he didn't let it bother him. Even when he raised his hands as winner, he didn't get the desired accolades. Manny on the other hand is loved by all because he's humble but that didn't translate to winning the match. Life's lesson: Do your thing, either you win or lose people will talk anyways, so why don't you just win and let them talk? Critics don't amount to anything in life, ignore them (I'm going to be ignoring anyone who criticizes this post).
