You guys are just morons to think that it's igbos that are wishing the military to take over power in nigeria u people are just scared after committing all kinds of actrocities on the nigerian people. Look back in history and see if there has been any military coup that was led by an igbo officer since 1966.

Bazzoum was planning to adopt naira and ditch CFA France currency. He said that in an interview just few weeks ago. This is why it must be painful to Buhari and Buhari would advise Tinubu to do all he can to restore Bazoum.

But don't you think by giving 7 days ultimatum, like play like play we are heading towards that route? Which country will bear 80% wahala? No be us?
Did it not happen before in Liberia, Sierra Leone? Meanwhile this same America giving us "moral" parked ship to remove their citizens, but refused to put troops to help Liberia. Nigerians died there.
Anyway, being igbo or not is irrelevant.
7 days ultimatum....kiki....
nigerians love givin ultimatums and nothing go happen....

niger own is much different than gambia own....many people are happy that military took over....

America is sending Tinubu to send millitary, so Putin will turn Niger and Nigeria to Ukraine, God forbid, this people wants to set us up to go and fight with Russia in Niger.
It will not work, hunger will finish us, Ukraine is still fighting and have not won.

The west should stop sending Tinubu, they should send other countries to intervene, they should leave Nigeria alone, we have suffered enough.

You're very naive and your naivety is even funny. You probably think those two small countries are not resolute about their declaration and support for the coup. Do you think they will engage in a conflict without an external support? Don't you see that it's already a proxy face-off propaganda, as the US has indicated support for Nigeria and ECOWAS while Russia is in the play already but with some stealth.

Secondly, the Nigeria Army is now a shadow of itself and can no longer operate in the capacity of the heydays of ECOMOG. You should understand that the dynamics is gonna change drastically if there be a foreign intervention as enemies are gonna switch sides and don't be surprised if you see those sahel mercenaries (or supposed terrorists) fighting alongside those three small countries. It's gonna be a devastating one for the Nigerian army, to say the least.

The world powers, US & Russia, will only turn Niger to a playground I mean their war theatre and I don't think Nigeria is ready for the humanitarian crises this would bring.

This is not about HDI or support Nigeria has been giving the small countries - this is different ball game.
bwahaha....nigerian army is even more deadlier than back then....
even developin a local weapons manufacturin industry....

Baby's talk.
Baby's babble.

What do you know about manpower and economy?
People who can lecture even your teachers are on public forums sending subtle messages to FG to never go for needless war, you and your lots are on NL rambling in the name of opinions.

Why is US not going for war against Russia leading NATO despite enough provocation from Russia? It is because US is lacking manpower and arsenal right?

Nigeria is struggling economically, then they should go headlessly into war? You think only what is needed to prosecute war is manpower?

Baby with baby's talk.

Show me someone who only sees things with tribal glasses and I'll show you a compound fool. If you're representing your tribe, then foolery must be very prevalent amongst you, that you don't realize a proxy war will have economic and security consequences for Nigeria. Why not advise your scalar-quantity of a president to sit his ass down and use diplomacy. As rugged as PMB was, what was ECOWAS able to do when same situation played out in Mali, B/F and others? He simply knew the limits of his power, he used diplomacy more (GEJ), because he's pan-African not pro-west. Your druggie presido wants legitimacy by all means, but he may lose his base (Nigeria).

[quote author=EKONGKING post=124795737]Nigeria should focus on its problems , We should not get dragged into other people problems . The world is divided between westerners and others .Niger as a country should not and must not be a proxy war between NATO and Russia .

Nigeria as a country should play larger sized role in diplomacy ,we should send Buhari for diplomatic talks and peace deals , War is not at an option for Nigeria at this critical time .

Just like Buhari made Goodluck a peace ambassador , Tinubu should think along the same lines .

You get sense. Infact, Nigeria should do all in its lower to avoid any form of military intervention in Niger which my lead to another civil war. We cannot handle the refugee crisis that will result from such crisis, Moreover, flooding Niger with weapons like they did in Libya will seriously destroy the precarious security in neighbouring countries. Since the coup is already successful, the best action is to negotiate with the coup leaders and ensure stability first before further actions. Tinubu should avoid being used by the west oh
goal is to kick out france....that niger achieved....
i dont think nigeria is interested to punish niger for that....

ecowas will make noise here and their and ask for free elections that niger people would want too....
case closed....

In war, all parties involved lose.
Let's forget about Nigerian military being the strongest.
Nigerian millitary that has been overstretched? Fighting insurgency for more than a decade? With new service chiefs still adjusting?
Nigerian economy is in shambles presently; you don't fight war independent of your economy. Why didn't US go into head-to-head war with Russia despite Russia provocation to lure them in the Ukrainian war? US has not recovered economically from war campaigns in the middle east
Nigeria being the largest in the West Africa will be expected to contribute more than the smaller countries.

The war won't be Nigerien war alone, you can see collaborations and solidarity coming up for Niger.
The West want to use West Africa for the next theater of war.
War isn't fun. Ecowas should think more than twice before throwing caution to the wind.
go deceive yourself and then cry later....
and again....nigeria hasnt even started general mobilization....

nigeria has plenty manpower....weapons plenty too....

Web2020:
If the injustice going on in Nigeria is not addressed, what will happen to Nigeria will shock the entire world. Injustice should be condemned by all. Quick examples of injustice are:
1. The head of Igbos was arrested for saying if the government cannot guarantee their protection, they will find a way to protect themselves while the like of Oluomo and Oba of Lagos is still working around free.

2. Nandi Kanu is still in detention illegally because he speaks the truth to the government about why the likes of Asari that openly form a militia group are still working as a free man.
It goes on and on.

It is a matter of time, injustice does not guarantee a good result. You may be thinking that you are successful in it, but one day you will regret it.
