By tbe way, the north is actually parasitic.
It has been like that since before the independence of Nigeria(with exception of only a short period of time probably). It is the creation of a terrible northern elite class and not necessarily the people of the north. And it is not an insult. It is the TRUTH. It is a truth that you should be ashamed of and disgusted about as a northern youth and not defend. I know that if i was a northerner, it is something i would seriously fight against. It is a weak position and one of tbe reasons northern Nigeria has some of tbe worst socioeconomic parameters any where in the world(poverty rate, unemployment rate, number of children out of school, hunger index, terrorism index, literacy rate, etc).

I make this statement without a single hatred to the north, as you may have seen from my comments on this forum. But I am truly confused as to how educated young northerners can not see it and get disgusted enough to want to change the narrative.

This money goes into paying salaries for northern teachers, civil servants and establishing projects like roads that affect the ordinary northern (not just politician).

The North is emershed in a Boko Haram war which takes up 80% of our general security welfare (security which the Niger Delta that produces the resources doesn't get).

Bandits are now been paid ransome left and right.

Almajiris special schools was wasted on North alone because it has become a problem to itself.

North is spending billions of Niger Delta money to search a non existent crude oil in northern desert.

Billions is wasted every time just to appease north eg the refinery they took to far Kaduna where the oil is supposedly in far Warri
