MadCow1: I don't quite understand this..
First of all, Eze Ndi Igbo of Akure is not a recognized title in Igboland. That is like how they use to call me Onwa Hong Kong those days when I was importing Ozu per dozen from Asia...
Secondly, why would that Oba of Akure Nigga invite people into an ambush set in his palace? What was the purpose of the invitation? To find a resolution or to attack them?
Thirdly, why would the Oba ask a titled man (assuming he is properly titled) to remove his Okpu Eze? Ndi yoruba enwero kwa uche.
Well, It seems the issue here is who will be the Market leader, if the Igbos make up the majority of the Marketers in the Market, then I see no reason for a Yoruba person to be their leader (indigenes or not).
Anyways, that was an unfair fight of 200 cowardly Yorubas versus 2 Ndigbo's. .. Nuff said. woww....you have a stable-mind.....i was so angry with the biafrauds,i forgot that part....but still,,,the king of the land,is still the king of the land.... |

wristbangle: No one is holding you people from leaving our land. Don't make it looks like you guys are being held at a gun point scene.
Of all the tribes in Nigeria, Igbos remain the most disrespected miscreants and no wonder your people love inflicting pains in other part of the world.
Ask yourself, can a yoruba commoner wear a crown to visit obi of onitsha?
It is so stupid of the igbo clans to design crown for just the head of market.
Sometimes I doubt if your elders are educating you people on moral standards and paying homage to respect other people's culture and tradition. imagine..... |

millionaireman: Hungry Youths used by a whole traditional ruler - Oba Deji - to cause fracas in a fragile Nigeria.
The Oba didn't tell his youths the truth And the truth is that money used in developing Akure came mostly from the old southeast region where the Igbos come from.
Deji didn't tell the youths that if the Igbos go from Nigeria, the south south must also go, either to form their different countries while some may join Biafra..
And when that happens, Deji and his youths may have to move back to cocoa farms in Ekiti state for livelihoods. For short, gnorance is a bliss for some people. no,noo....only biafrauds will leave...those peace-loving igbos will be allowed to stay were they are, were they want,in the enire nigerian territorys.....i know the hausas will not agree(one bad,all bad),,,,....na atlanic ocean straight for biafrauds....those peace-loving igbos shouldnt worry, just dont associate yourselfs with biafrauds..... |

patrick89: I'm having a serious laugh tonight! Imagine 200 youths? Haba! A Lot of yoruba talk about not respecting their laws and so on. Please I ask, what exactly is respect to them? Is it going to bow down to them? Or paying illegal tolls to them or what? The number of yoruba in enugu state today is very high! They are everywhere, but you won't hear anyone extorting money from them. The igbo of today, will no longer seat and watch you destroy our people and their properties, thou I would like to see them relocate their business! But you cat faces asked for it. One was defending fashola deportation, the thing is, many destitute that are not from South east, or Anambra were all included and dumped at upper iweka at night! Why not in awka? The worst paart was that it's only one anambra indigene was recognised amongst them. Yet you dropped them in anambra state .
Yoruba youths are in big one almighty problem, their society do not have a lot of compelling factors to succeed, that's why they have alot of red zinc wretched houses more than any form of Modern building. Be sincere, the president of tradomedicine in anambra is a yoruba man, who disturbs him? Look this is 2015 you can no longer beat us and tell us not cry. You shout one nigeria up and down yet you are not obeying the same Nigerian laws. Ofcourse we will fight back! It We will be dirty I assure you we won't be intimidated! of course, you have the right to defend yourself....just stop behaving like you are benevicent..... |

ProfessorPeter: be informed that Eze Ndigbo is just like a chairman of town union an not a monarch.,also be informed that Eze Ndigbo is not competing with Deji of Akure over the throne treating Eze Ndigbo in such a disrespectful manner is wrong. the eze should have been more diplomatic....the atmosphere is already tense...yoruba feel hurt in their pride...forget western media propaganda...africans are still proud to be black..... |

Don't worry, once hardworking Yoruba people stop patronizing your product, so that you lazy touts won't end up living under the lagos bridges, you will be forced to face the demons you're running away from.

RaptorX: This Obama guy is not serious about helping Nigeria to defeat boko haram, if he was he wouldn't be sending 300 non combat troops that would most likely be sitting on their fat a.ss in Cameron, while collecting intelligence on our military capabilities. This is a country that don't even care about its own black citizens talk less of caring about Africans dying.
And to all those calling on the Russians, I laugh at you in Russian. Superpowers don't military intervene unless there is a strategic interest at stake. Russia has no strategic interest in Nigeria, the only thing we have to offer the world is crude oil and Russia is swimming in crude oil, and they know that Nigeria is a western puppet state, so why should they care. wrooooooooooonnng!!!!.....russia is trying to create a coalition of peace-loving people around the world...you said it yourself, they dont need our resources, they have enough...now tell me,,if you think deep, wouldnt putin be a better partner, that dont need what you have to survive or obama, that needs everything you have to survive....and dont forget, america has 17trillion dollars open debts..... i liked the first part..the second part,i disagree...i give you half like....... |

Once to America. Wat do u think he went there to do? My friend incase u don't know, he went there to sign pacts of agreements for security and economic for their assistance and that is his BIGGEST mistake in his 4years. Cos he has sold out the country Nigeria. And wat is ahead, is only GOD can help Nigeria wen it happens. Cos it will surely happen. Ask urself; why do u think the bombings av increased? Think deep and answer this question. Have a nice day. God bless Nigeria. i dont think buhari will trust to do such a thing...the african continent is waking up........i just hope, cameroon knows what they are doing..... |

kingzizzy: We did not not have surnames in Africa before the White man came? Who told you this? Olauda Equiano was born in Isi-Eke in present day Anambra state in 1745. He was sold into slavery in 1756. He later wrote a book called 'The interesting narrative of Olauda Equiano' in which he talked about Igbo culture and how important the last name or family name is to differentiate between family branches. In 1798 when EquIano wrote his book, the White man was still trading and buying slaves on the coast and had not even come inland to what would later be Nigeria. Igbos have always had surnames long before the White man came to West-Africa. we should avoid mentioning that white devil, the devil can not beat us in a fair fight..............africa in that time had enough warriors to have droving the entire white-devils-regiments back in the ocean and even march till the front gates of paris..our problem is communicating with each other....... |
