4]This is how bad Nigeria has become before the eyes of everyone. The government doesn't care, the news propaganda pumpers are just spreading bad news if it happens in a particular section of the country, while making obvious attempts at sweeping their own bad news under the carpet, pretending it didn't happen.

Presently Peter Obi is partyless. That's what not having focus can cause.

Even a herder knows his destination but ask Obi which party he is he doesn't know.

I challenge any Obidients to tell the party where Obi will contest in 2027

Mediocrity has been our biggest enemy.
What you’ve said is right but also exposes your ignorance.

I don’t know if you were born in Lagos or relocated but before LAWMA, there were waste management companies, Ikeja GRA was spotless, FESTAC, Apapa areas close to the amusement park, VGC, VI, Ikoyi, he centralized the system and introduced cronyism.

LASTMA may be ground breaking for you, but there was once traffic light with road signs/markings in Lagos. Traffic cameras can fine people for traffic violations.

He introduced the BRT, no, Fashola did, Ambode wanted to make it world class and remove the yellow bus curse that had plagued Lagos but your Tinubu and his gang kicked against it. Ambode’s oshodi bus terminal was a masterstroke to rid the area of thugs.
For those who know Lagos, roadside extortions did not exist until Tinubu came to power.

Creating more LCDAs is one way to solve a problem, but empowering LGs to do what they’re paid to do is better. How many LCDAs do you think are in Texas? Which is bigger than Lagos.

Lagos was designed to head towards badagry but your Tinubu destroyed the master plan and reinvented his own with Eko Atlantic which is causing Lagos and neighboring states ecological problems.

Let me ask you some questions;
Compared to the old neighborhoods like Gowon estate, 1004, Dolphin, Festac, Jakonde estates, which well built low-medium income housing exists courtesy to Mr Tinubu?

If you didn’t know Lekki-Ajah used to be filled with swamps and quicksand, as of 1999 ShopRite and most of lekki phase 1 was a sign post. The government sand filled most of it and what happened next, it sold the land privately with no government presence there in terms of housing, schools, hospitals, parks, etc

Again he might be the best you’ve ever seen, but I’ll chose an Osinbajo, Fashola, Ambode over Tinubu any day or time.
Let me start at the bolded and if your assertion is proven to be lies then all other jargon you put up there can be taken for same lies.

Now let me ask you, where exactly you were when Tinubu was governor of Lagos?

Tinubu created BRT lane and the first set of BRT buses were parked around Oregun and it was conspicuous to people traveling down from Oworoshoki towards either Ikoorodu axis or Lagos Ibadan express way.

Tell me this is lie and I will bring out evidence to support my claim.

Remember we are still on your lies of Fashola brought BRT

I have time to engage Obidient today who want to rewrite our history when indeed most of them came to Lagos less than 10 years and I will be doing that with physical reference and will want to present your point with verifiable
facts.

Now tell me the name of the waste management agency in Lagos before Tinubu created LAWMA and tell me the scope of their operation siting their profound achievements with emphasis on locations, waste management equipment deploy and any other information to back your argument.

Make it engaged and not banter because that will show your emptiness and won't worth engaging

There's no doubt about that. You should be expecting MNK and sSimon Ekpa as the prime minister, that combo na bae, the best wish should happen in your region

There's no one in SE with the record of Tinubu.
He is the first to introduce LAWMA, an initiative that is practice by other states in Nigeria.

He initiate LASTMA that ha effectively reduced traffic in Lagos state.

He created BRT with dinstint road part carved out of existing road.

He created new city out of ocean to curb continual spillage of water into the residence.

He created addition 37 LCDA where people are employed and still existing up to today.

I was a product of his Bursary as undergraduate in Lagos state
He equally paid WAEC of all students indigene and non indigene residing in Lagos and at a point our house was filled with Igbo who came to register for. WAECin order to benefit from free WAEC payment.

I can go on and on

These are verifiable facts that are physical and not AI generated by some politician that we can't see.

Mind you, I served in Anambra at Nkpor and experienced how Obi could not pay common stipends to Corpers.

Up till today Obi could not solve the communal challenges among the villages in that axis.

There was no solution to crime rate in Anambra, Awka a capital city was in shamble, no job opportunities and Onitsha axis that should have been turned to tourist centers due to present of the river Niger was left to waste away.

That's why the youth of those area trooped enmasse to other region to seek opportunities .

Yes, Tinubu is a man in million times that every Yoruba man will wish to be his leader

You sure hit the nail on head right there. I can't but agree with your narrative. Economy was a disaster before he came in as president and according to him, he doesn't have a better choice than to give it to the citizens hot hot so as to repair the decades of incompetencies he met on ground. More like a case of if I perish, I perish.....i must do the right thing. During the course of doing the right thing also, he also fumbled and stumbled. He fumbled by spending 21Billion naira renovating the VP Lodge, allowing brand new SUVs for national Assembly, buying new airplanes and telling us the citizens to go on the lean analysis. Citizens should manage while you the President is engaging in yalla yollo spending. Then, how about those stealing from the treasury, he has not done so much in punitive reward to them, like Betta Edu etc.....

In a deeper silent reality, things are getting shaped out little by little but hasn't transcend to the small scale and medium scale enterprises. They can only smell it but hasn't arrived yet.

He's trying but needs to try the more. However, considering the few two years he has spent so far, I will give him a pass Mark for now.....atleast 55% of positive disposition to development.
Maybe I would say similar thing if am not exposed to government administration to some extent.

The question about VP house renovation is to asked whether it was budgeted for or not, if it was budgeted then it becomes legal and binding on the executive to implement.

Security are serious issues that is not compromised when it comes to the protection of the presidency, that is all over the world and not limited to Nigeria, the security heads determines all these things you see and no president would go against security recommendations not even Obi, Atiku or any aspirant out of Nigeria space. The decision of jet procurement is a reflection of our security architecture opinion and same decision would occured under any Nigerian president in this our era.

Yes, I quite agree with you that the government need to do more on corruption and prosecute those that are found guilty rather than patting them on the back with a sack letter but overall, corruption has reduced because we can see what our money can give us in area of infrastructure, how I wish Nigerians can beam their searchlight towards the state government to complement what FG government is doing.

For food production, the powers to increase agriculture produce lies with the governors because they have the power over land matters in their respective states, what's has the governors done in this regards despite increased in allocation, just as state government now have power to generate, transmit and distribute power, but few have shown seriousness over it.

Nigeria is a Federation and not a Unitary, there's should be shared responsibilities as well as shared blame, we should understand this fundamental before criticising so as not to appear like market people or an illiterate bus driver. Nairaland should be a convergence of knowledge and not a theatres for misinformation, abuse and propaganda

Oya list the progress in terms of:
1. National security
2. New real jobs
3. Food price
4. Standard of living
5. Healthcare
6. Education
7. Manufacturing
8. Exports
Security: Before now you can't travel by road from Abuja to Kaduna as bandit will attack you either in train or by road transport, today high profile personality stroll along that corridor.

There used to be bomb blast in ThisDay office, US Embassy, Madalla Cathedral and Yanyan bus stop but today check point has reduced yet bombing have been subdued so also herdsmen clashes with farmers have grossly reduced
New Job- Unless you not living in Nigeria that the info tech industry have had a new turned, gone are the days when you have to assemble all sort of machinery to make money, today smart money are easily made because of the improved internet facility

Health- Many Nigerian now have confidence in our local hospital as many life threatening diseases can now be threat in government hospitals, you don't have to travel to Indian for Kidney and heart related ailment

Education. In your lifetime, this is the period where government give indigent student loan to complete their education, there's no excuse for student going to school. First in Nigeria history, Technical school are now free and they even receive stipend for going to school. This has never happened in the history of Nigeria as a Federation

Manufacturing: The exchange rate difference is a motivation for a serious mind to produce, if you are industrious you will appreciate this government

Export: There's never been time before now where exportis taken seriously. Maybe you don't know that for 2 quarters our balance of trade is in surplus meaning our export surpass our import. In agriculture, cocoa, ginger, cashew has received boast with exportation

If you can't see any of these opportunities that abound I will leave you to continue with your complaints and negative energy

Maybe you attend different school that the basic economic principle you learned is different from what Prof. Soludo and Ngozi Okonjo Iweala learnt.

It is a shame for many like you to use the viewpoint of a market women to judge economic progress of a country where we have the real economist who has given nod to the progress made so far.

Why did many of you turned a blind eyes to the mess the government inherited. The national debt, the way and mean the FX backlog and the oil money spent in advance.

How best anyone could have manage the economy with these factors?

How would government have sustained subsidy with those cumulative negatives.?

It is only a dull mind that would criticize the government in economic decisions taken so far.
