]Majority of ordinary Igbos despise corrupt politicians. Tinubu's dislike by the Igbos started from Tinubu's role in blackmailing and removing Goodluck and his anti-Igbo politics that started from 2014 whereby he used anti-Igbo rhetorics to mobilize other Yorubas against Igbos in Lagos.Igbos have very good heart, very e asy to make them like you. If you can remember, the same way some Igbos, mostly youths despised Tinubu's political life is the same way they despised El Rufai, Amaechi, Umahi, Rochas, Oshiomhole, etc but the moment those other one turned back and started calling evil evil, you can see the same Igbo youths now softening their dislike for them. If Tinubu turns a new leaf tomorrow, the same Igbos calling him out will become his number one fans, na so we be, we no de carry things for heart like you Yorubas, that's why despite the atrocities committed against Igbos by the North before and during the war, Igbos still went back to the North living freely, doing business and investing heavily there not bearing any grudges in mind, same thing they are doing in virtually all Nigerian states including the states that slaughtered them during the Pogrom but una Yorubas will continue to reference one thing or the other that happened in the East as your reasons for never wanting to live in Southeast or invest there. The difference is clear, that's why Igbos bounced back so fast after losing it all during war. That's how life of people that don't carry forever hatred and anger in mind works, they forgive easily and progress easily against all odds.
If youth despise corruption, we won't have Orji Uzo Kalu, we won't have Abaribe we won't have Ekwerenadu, we won't have any of your governors winning second term. Now that it is clear that Igbo hate corrupt politician of other ethnic group and protect theirs then we can conclude that your tribalism is a follow come. Again, you said you hate Tinubu because of his role pre 2015 election, did you extend similar hatred to Atiku, Rotimi Amaechi and a whole lots of others who you supported in 2019 just 3 years after Jonathan was voted out. Extend same hatred to your corrupt politicians and those you romance who participated to oust Jonathan and I will take you seriously. Now, it is clear from your point that there's no justification for such hatred especially after Tinubu as number one governor who appointed an Igbo as commissioner for Budget and Planning in his cabinet and equally extended WAEC payment to non indigene residing in Lagos and equally gave Igbo leverage to have assess to some major markets in Lagos state. Yoruba can no longer trust you because you pay good with evil, and takes their friendship for cowardice and mess up opportunities you enjoy in SW. Going forward, you will regret you actions as the new generation of Yoruba will never give you that space within their region |

franchasng: ...and I want to also point out something that you Yorubas should try and desist from. You guys always try to paint yourselves as perfect being that never do wrong.
Like I told you, my late uncle that participated in the January 1966 coup regretted and he said most of them also regretted the outcome of the coup as it wasn't as they planned it to be.
He said maybe if they had Northern soldiers amongst them who were drafted to execute the coup in Eastern Nigeria, that the outcome would have been better as they wouldn't have spared some of the high ranking Igbo politicians that the Igbo soldiers drafted to execute Eastern side spared which made the North and West see the coup as Igbo coup. This was one of his regrets
Secondly, he never liked Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe just as Ojukwu never liked Zik too and never attended his burial. Most Igbos never liked Nnamdi Azikiwe as we believed that he failed us Igbos by not doing the right things that would have made Nigeria and Eastern Nigeria better as he focused mostly on outside politics to be seen as a national and African figure. This was one of the reasons most Igbos cherished Awolowo more than Zik if you take away Awolow's inhumane role in the Biafran war.
You can always hear Igbos criticize Zik despite his influence in Nigeria.
Same way, many Igbos don't support Rochas, Orji Uzo Kalu, etc because they see them as corrupt not minding how influential they are. You also see some Igbos condemning Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, etc.
You will see Igbos admit their errors but you guys from the Yoruba side will never admit that you are wrong at all even when it's glaring. Take a look at how Tinubu turned Nigeria upside down yet you guys keep supporting him and attacking Igbos for calling his government out. Someone like Tinubu can never even get Igbo majority support in the first place, he is in the likes of Orji Uzo Kalu, Rochas Okorocha and co to Igbos.
We acknowledge great Yoruba leaders but you Yorubas never accept that any Igbo man or woman is good.
Make una change if una want sha Tinubu became president in the past two years but before then your hatred for the man knew no bound. Why did you hate him so much even before he became the president? Many Yoruba were forced to believe it was unfinished rivalry that has existed in the past that was still playing out. There's no justification for such hate and that singular act made majority of The Yoruba to defend Tinubu, to them it was a fight for the survival of the Yoruba race and not rivalry of election differences. Igbo attitude before and after 2023 election was an eye opener to a moderate Yoruba, today they are conscious of everything coming from the East, as you have lost the warm reception you received in SW out of all other regions in Nigeria |

franchasng: Even if you are related to Banjo does not make any difference because you might not be aware of the tape nor were you present at the tribunal that found Banjo and others guilty. Are you even aware that Ojukwu's in-law was among those executed alongside Banjo? Please leave that issue aside, they were executed for trying to topple Ojukwu's leadership and any military leader would do same talk more of one at war and at high risk of being eliminated.
Back to Prof. Wole Soyinka, he is a highly respected man by Igbos for decades. You cannot blame Igbo youths who support Peter Obi for calling out and condemning Wole Soyinka for calling Peter Obi they support a "gbajue". In my tradition, they said, an elder is not expected to bath outside so that little kids won't use his balls (scrotum) to play tinko thinking it's a bell lol
Prof Wole Soyinka brought the backlash and attacks on himself. Him coming out to call out Peter Obi and even going as far as calling him "gbajue" while promoting Tinubu wasn't elderly or statesmanly if you are honest to yourself.
So mind your words, it is Peter Obi's Igbo supporters (not all Igbos) and even some none Igbos that attacked Prof. Wole Soyinka back for calling their man "gbajue".
That aside, Igbos have always recognized and hailed Prof Wole Soyinka's support for Biafra in the past, and will continue to recognize and appreciate him for that and I can tell you for free that at any point in time Biafra comes to reality, Col. Banjo, Prof Wole Soyinka, Fajuyi, etc will be well recognized in Biafra nation with a forever legacy, go and note this down. You mean the sin of WS was calling Obi gbajue and that would warrant those abuses and curses. . Regarding Banjo, his execution was a grave actioon that will haunt your region for many years to come l. Executing him on phantjom charges of coup was comon excuses of African military rulers to execute their perceived enemy during that era. Abacha indicted Obasanjo and many others in phantom coup that didn't exist, so Ojukwu charges against him was just an alibi to kill Banjo. You can't rewrite history. It was a painful experience of a betrayal and hateful disposition of the Igbo towards her supportive neighbor |

franchasng: My late uncle was a high ranking Nigerian military officer that participated in the January 1966 coup and later joined Biafra and was among the top ranking Biafra military personnel that headed Biafra conscription unit and intelligence too.
He said a damning audio recording was played at the military tribunal that indicted Banjo, Ifeajuna and co.
I don't have access to the tape, it should be available somehow but it's a highly classified information that won't be easy to find. Maybe only those that had first access to Ojukwu's personal office and bunker may have it, but whatever my late uncle told us about the January 1966 coup, the counter coup and the Biafra war were all spot on.
He even told us that some of them regretted the January 1966 coup, and also told us some of the mistakes they made during the war.
He did accepted some of their mistakes and told us some of the inhumane things Ahmadu Bello was doing that caused the January 1966 coup, so his stories were balanced but you guys from the Southwest only believe that Igbos are the aggressors and always the bad people who always do bad while your people always do good and no wrong, so nobody can convince you because you already have a bias mindset towards anything Igbo Did you know whether am related to Col Banjo and equally have assess to first hand information of what transpired during that time. The problem with you guys is your inability to accept when you are wrong. The execution of Banjo signalled the end of support a SWner will render to the SE Because of politics, WS who was imprisoned for the cause of Biafra was cursed by Igbo today. Execution of Banjo will always be remembered and reference as the most thoughtless decision a man can make and it once again exposes the egocentric proclivity that would always checkmated by the larger Nigerians |

When we tell Obi and his Obidients to drop their emotion when it comes to politics they abuse and curse us, today irrational decision has landed Obi in a very tight corner.
In politics there's no permanent friend or enemy and there should be a room for reconciliation at every turn but the Obidients have burnt down such room that could make way for any reconciliation.
Where is the political future for Obi in Nigeria, is it in LP, ADC or PDP?
Am sure Obi will be regretting his irrational move to ADC while abandoning LP that brought him to the limelight.
Now the political searchlight has been beamed towards the South, every political gladiator across the country will start pitching their tent and making a mark for future reference and political opportunity.

Obaaderemi2: Kemetian, you are indeed very ignorant. But as usual I'm here to destroy your misinformation because I know there are many benighted people here. Jesus could never be black. He was a Jew. Jews are perceived as dark skinned by the whites. If he came out of the middle East of course he would look like an Arab. They're darker than mainland Europeans.
Apart from that artistic impressions could be different from the main thing most of the time. Below are paintings of Jesus and Mary far older than the ones you posted. He was not depicted as black in them. So why should we go with your narrative that Jesus and Mary were black because some artists used black paints on their portraits? It must be easy to deceive gullible people like you. Jesus was a Jew. He wasn't white but he wasn't black as well. I disagree with your point above. If there's anything to go by, the Bible is a book that is known for its vivid descriptive and excellent usage of precise adjective to narrate its story. There's no way it could have used black to describe brown if indeed they were brown. Many places in the Bible actually described different races by their colour that even predates the birth of Jesus like how the Ethiopian were described. Though am not arguing whether Jesus was black or white but the Bible didn't explicitly describe Jesus as white. |

Further, when Pilate put a choice to the people, they chose Barabas.
The gospels repeatedly use the phrase "the Jews" in fingering those who worked towards implicating Jesus.
Finally, where are the Pharisees and Sanhedrin today and how come Jews still reject Jesus today? You made a valid point, very deep and thoughtful why did the Jews reject Jesus up till today if there decision is not based on racism, there's no other reason one can think of |

I told you that you are empty. You know nothing about the topic. Just huff and puff to earn your daily bread using the leftovers of Amaechis laptops.
Biafra was attacked from all angles. From the North, West and South. In all those fronts, Yoruba officers cheered on by Yoruba leaders and the Yoruba public, were in full action using supplies from Britain to commit genocide against "fellow blacks".
Almost all the air sorties that were flown into Biafra to bomb hospitals, markets, churches and schools, originated from Lagos. All weapons from Britain docked at Lagos portd with ZERO opposition from.any branch of the Yoruba communities.
Infact, go and read Wole Soyinkas "The man Died". Briefly, he discussed all he heard about endless disgusting meetings between Northern and South Western leaders to use the war to do all they did in Biafra..
Una problem be say una dey think say una fit openly rewrite history as you did with your newspapers before the coming of the internet. We don't have to drag any points here. I will advise you to do the reading with an unbiased mind and see the arrogance of Ojukwu in the letter Have any Igbo writer debunked the letter Ojukwu wrote to Banjo regarding how SW should be captured? gidgiddy: When people talk about Victor Banjo, all they seem to talk about is that Ojukwu executed him. Most of them dont even know why Victor Banjo was executed. They dont even know that Victor Banjo stood trial, was convicted and sentenced to death, which led to his execution.
Brigadier Victor Banjo was arrested in September 1967 along with three other Igbo military officers, Colonel Ifeajuna, Major Agbam and Major Alale. They were charged to military tribunals with:
First Count: Subversion, contrary to Section 13 (a) of the Law and Order (Maintenance) Edict, 1967, Particulars of Offence: "That you, Victor Banjo, Philip Alale, Emmanuel Ifeajuna and Sam Agbam, in the month of September, 1967, at Enugu, in the Republic of Biafra, (the said Republic being a disturbed area by virtue of the Order of the Military Governor made on 3rd June 1967 without lawful authority made preparations for carrying out an armed disturbance against the Military Governor and some officers of the Republic of Biafra
Second Count:
Act intended to cause a breach of public order contrary to Section 6 (e) of the Law and Order (Maintenance) Decree, 1967, otherwise known as the Law and Order (Maintenance) Edict, 1967, Particulars of Offence: "That you, Victor Banjo, Philip Alale, Emmanuel Ifeajuna and Sam Agbam, in the month of September, 1967, at Enugu, in the Republic of Biafra (which is a disturbed area) with intent to cause a breach of public order, agreed to procure the downfall of the Government of said Republic by violent and unlawful seizure of the Military Governor and Head of State of the Republic of aforesaid, and Commander-in-Chief of its Armed Forces, and other military officers"
To understand what happened, you have to read from page 27 to 40 of a book called "Nowhere To Hide: Crises and conflicts inside Biafra", by Benard Odogwu, an intelligence officer in Biafra. Transcripts of Banjo's trial are also in the book.
Basically, what happened was that Victor Banjo, who was a Brigadier in the Biafran Army, and led the Midwest oprations, had returned to Enugu and hatched a plot with Ifeajuna, Alale and Agbam, to topple Ojukwu. They contacted Benard Odogwu and some others and told them that they were in contact with the government of Gowon, and could bring the war to an end. All they had to do was storm the Biafran government house with their troops, arrest Ojukwu, and Gowon would agree to a ceasefire and negotiations. But Ojukwu had to be taken out first. Benard Odogwu played along. In a second meeting with the 4 men, Benard Ojukwu hid a recording device in his briefcase, recorded the men putting final touches to their plan to take out Ojukwu. Benard took the recording straight to Ojukwu, who ordered the arrest of all 4 men.
They denied everything, but when the recording was played at the tribunal, they had no defence. All 4 men were found guilty, sentenced to death, and executed
Source: Nowhere To Hide: Crisis and conflicts inside Biafra by Benard Odogwu Can you play us the recorded audio, at least such important document should be kept in the archive of Biafra. Remember a person that lies will eventually push drug |
