There is another issue.

In the online applicatio form that asks to state the countries visited in the last 10 years (date, period, purpose).
In 2010 I travelled to France. When returning to the UK on a coach, a French offer put an exit stamp in my passport with a wrong date "25/05/2010 COQUELLES LFT". On the other page of passport there is a stamp by UK officer " 13 Apr 2010 COQUELLES". I have returnted to England on Apr 13 2010. How do I go about this?

I had this same issue when I applied wrong stamp date when visiting another country (on exit)... I explained it under the "other information" section and I got my visa... Don't worry about it. Just explain under the "others" section, you will be fine

zimsyp: Please when is d best date to travel to UK. My visa is open from 25th of july but my school resumes on the 23rd of Sept and the international week starts on the 16th of Sept(international week is when the school takes new students on a tour round UK. Thanks for ur reponse.

From what I'm seeing, I'm guessing same school I'm going to.. SouthWales? Yes/No? ... Anyway, the best time to travel depends on if your housing is sorted... First week september will be ideal if your housing is not yet sorted. My own opinion though.

Its the Treforest Campus though...I am gonna book a room in a guest house for 1 week and then hope I find housing immediately before d week runs out. I'm going 2nd week in september though.. Email me?

Hi all... I will be heading to pontypridd, South Wales (University of South Wales). I am trying to find out the best way to sort housing. I was advised to book a hotel for a week on landing during which I could find housing. I wanted to know what's the usual estimate time to find housing and a good contract. Thanks.
