Hi Gurus in the house,
I am about submitting my application using paper route but the issue is that I make use of my passport from time to time, so i dont want to submit it with my application. Is it possible that I do this? Does VFS allow this? And whenever they request for it I can always provide it.
Awaiting your prompt response my people.
Thanks in advance. |

Hi all,
To God be the glory because in everything he said we should give thanks. I got a mail this morning from CIC that my application has been refused after 9 weeks. I applied for PGC and was denied on Purpose of Visit and current employment situation. I have been working since I finished school and in fact this is my 3rd job with great pay, so I don't know why would be denied based on facts like these. I have OND, HND and Bsc all in Computer Science and Engineering. I am a Cisco Network Certified Associate. The course I am going for is well related to my course which is Network and System Security. My job description has also been in this same field, so I am confused as to why I would be denied based on these two.
I would be requesting for my GCMS file to know their point exactly.
My good people, how do you think I can tackle this? I applied for PGC I had a 2:2 and its difficult to get a Masters with that.
Your input will come handy.
Many thank! |

I just received a call from th embassy requesting me to renew my passport and send to them. The Lord is good! |

That would be helpful. You can send it to tunaban4real@yahoo.com Many thanks bro!! Gastuso: As for your inquiry, I also wrote to VAC Accra notifying them that I have also submitted same online to CIC. They will accept your documents Bro. Just give a strong reason to justify your appeal. I can inbox u my appeal sample if you don't mind |

Wow!! Just Wow!! God is really on your side. Congratulations to you. Please a quick one. When you submitted your case inquiry form form, did you also write a mail to High commission in accra? I need to use the case inquiry form to add a document i skipped during my application. Need a thorough guide to do this. Waiting on your response bro!! Many thanks!!! Gastuso: TRV Visual approval to Study PhD programme at the University of Alberta Online Application submitted - 13 April 2016 Biometric - 15th April 2016 Note: I submitted my application without my police certificate, all academic degrees and transcripts, etc., Bc there is no column to upload them into. I took them to vfs and they were rejected. The lady me told me ignorance is not an excuse and your application stands to be rejected on the ground of incomplete documents. Thus I immediately use the CIC case inquiry form to appeal for the inclusion of all my supporting documents not uploaded to be part of my application and also to Canadian Embassy in Accra. My appeal was approved by CIC within an interval of four days and my documents were all uploaded to my application. I also made a serious blunder to apply for work permit and thus filled the column of work as part of my Study attaching my scholarship letter. On the 26th of May, I saw on CIC website that scholarship is not part of work. I immediately wrote to my department and graduate school of the University of Alberta. They responded immediately by notifying me that work is not part of my Study and scholarship awards given to graduate students does not amount to it. I immediately wrote to CIC for the second time appealing for the exclusion of work permit in my application. A week later, I received a message from CIC stating "We need your Medical" Medical Call - June 2nd Medical done - June 6th Medical Passed - June 10th Passport Request - June 13th Passport Submitted - June 14th Application Approved - June 21 Application closed - June 22 Passport ready for collection mail - June 22 Passport collected - Just collected now, June 23. Documents Submitted SOA - Closing balance of 56k Letter of Introduction and Sponsorship from my employer without bank statement Admission & scholarship letter My Pension account statement Employment letter My Staff identity card My CV Statement of Intent Personal achievement in my career Police report All family members birth certificates My academic certificates and transcripts, etc. House members, I give God the glory for making my dream of studying in Canada come through. I also thank you all for your prayers, love and care. You are more than a family to me. Hope to hear your good news too. I have been a silent follower of this thread. Don't mind my typos, in case you noticed any. |

Thank you so much, I really appreciate. o2: If you scanned an original document. You dont need to notarize it. If it is photocopy (which i dont advise) then u might need to notarise it. |

Thank you so much I really appreciate. One more thing, do one need a police clearance for Online? overtlyderanged: 1. Although you'll have your picture taken when you go for biometrics, you'll still need to get a passport photograph to upload with your online application. The website has the specs for the picture, I can't remember what they are right now.
2. I didn't notarize any of my documents before I submitted online. |

Hi great people, Please do one need to snap a digital passport for online application or it will be done when you go for Biometrics?
Also, do I need to notarize my scanned document for online application.
Please, this is quite urgent. |

Thanks buddy! Will do as you've said. Cottyekundayo: I have always heard good stories about first bank. Between Tomorrow and may 20 is still a long time. My friend got his in two weeks. When I tried at UBA, last week though. My payment was divided into two places. Officials stated that cbn won't allocate more than 10k USD. You may want to try another branch of the same bank. Perhaps another bank. I really don't have any help I can offer. Just suggestions. Just try again my friend... I met someone on this thread who had to and the second time was a testimony. |

Hi there, Please, through which bank did you pay for your tuition fee and how long did it take them to debit your account? Kindly revert and thanks. MsLee: Hello House,
Am new at this thread. Please i need urgent reply. I'm filling my study permit form and i have few questions...Please see questions below
1. Is it compulsory to have a sponsor? (cos the form says you must have at least $10,000 CAD in my account which i do and i have paid my tuition fee)
2. My sponsor is not a family member, how do i proof relationship?
3. What's the minimum amount that can be in my sponsor's account?
4. They are requesting for birth certificate for each family member.... i find this very unnecessary
Thank you |

Congrats bro.. I will appreciate it if you can forward me the SOP. It will go a long way if you can do this for your blood tunaban4real(at)yahoo(dot)com. Thank you in advance. ChicoBoy: Asides the fact that I changed my institution and program, one major thing I equally did was to rework my SOP. My new SOP was such that even the dullest VO can see the purpose of visit, length of stay, family ties, assets and financial status. (In my previous application, all these were dealt with, apparently not well enough). What I believe worked against me was that I didn't show/explain my activities since I graduated in 2011. So that the VO doesn’t think that the PGD program is a plan to just leave the country. The SOP was just about my present job description. (I have come to know now that that is not enough). Were I the VO, I’d ask “But you finished your undergrad since 2011, what have you been doing. How come you even finished in 2011 when you finished secondary in 2001” (That’s me tho)? The way I see it, the truth is Maters applicant have preference over PGD applicants. But if you are a PGD applicant, your SOP is your salvation. You will need to convince the VO of your intentions and why the choice program will help your cause. Show what you have been doing since you graduated, let the VO know you have not been idle. Attach a little background information. And prove the other items on the document checklist. If you graduated with a 2.1/2.2 try the hardest you can to get a masters offer. I applied to Manitoba and was denied because my CGPA dint meet their requirement, na d same CGPA I use for Carleton U. there are several with different minimum requirements. |

Thank you Phrancisco. I really do appreciate phrancisco: That is not true, if u have read most post of the thread u will see cases where people have gotten their trv with a non relative as sponsor. All the sponsor needs do is to give a good reason why he is willing to sponsor you and the exact amount. Also as regards the ties you can present landed properties or investment documents since u are not married if you have that. All the best |

Hi everyone, I am a newcomer on this thread, I have read valuable posts from gurus in the house but I do have a challenge at the moment. I am trying to use an agent to apply for my TRV since i have secured admission already. She asked me about my means of sponsorship, I told her i will be getting an outsider(non-relative) as the main sponsor and a cousin as co-sponsor. She claimed it wont fly if i don't use my parents or direct siblings, i will be refused.. Also, what is the best possible economic and social tie a single guy like me can present to be granted TRV? Considering the fact that I am over 30yrs.
I need gurus in the house to help me out on this.
Thanks to you all in advance. |
