I didn't have an issue with it.

But I recently found out he sends money and gifts to my inlaws and they are all so happy with that. Even celebrating this in my presence and saying I shouldn't be jealous or anything because their daughter knows she's married and their relationship was in the past.

This doesn't sit well with me.

I also know for a fact that my parents wouldn't accept unsolicited gifts from my ex or that of my siblings.

Electoral law and system. That is the most important thing.
Votes must count.
If electoral law and process is structured to reflect the wishes of the people, if the people now like, they should go and still cast their votes for the people with structure that will give them garri and rice and urgent 10k.
When politicians know they cannot circumvent the electoral process and the voices of the people will be heard. There will be massive improvement in what is delivered to the people.
