As how. Reasoning logically along political lines, Atiku has a chance to increase his numbers compared to 2023, considering Tinubu is fast losing grounds in the north. On the other hand, Obi has lost so many grounds in the south to Tinubu.
One appears set to do better than he did in 2023, the other appears to be on course to do worse.
But you think it is the one that may lose ground that should be the arrowhead of the ticket.
You people need to learn to separate politics from emotions. APC and Tinubu did Muslim/Muslim ticket because they needed what could win northern votes(not because they wanted islamization or anything) , the Tinubu himself no even carry religion/Islam for head like that. If they had used a Christian northerner as vice, Atiku would have won that election in 2023.
They chose to focus on what will bring the votes first, not what is ethically right or fair. So to win elections in Nigeria, where there is so much intricacies and division, you have to decide which is the first priority, to try to win votes OR to try to appear good and fair
Things can change tomorrow o, but as at today, the combination that stands any possible chance of challenging Tinubu is Atiku as President and Obi as vice. And this is also the clearest path to igbo presidency. Atiku is almost 80, God of Jonathan can strike again. And if that does not happen, its better to hope Atiku will give the ticket to the South east when his time is up
