Talking about being grateful, do you know Wike chose the speaker, and appointed a lot of Fubara's cabinet members, before they all chose to resign as instructed by the emperor. Fubara yielded so much to Wike. The problem started with wanting to dictate to Fubara how funds of the state will be spent. WHile Wike wanted funds of the state to be used to consolidate his political empire, Fubara realized that he will the one that will answer for misappropriation, if na u weytin u go do. Fubara was begging for a long time before the man was left with no option. The wike commissioners started abusing him, imagine u are governor and the people working for u as commissioners are just working against ur instructions, yet fubara did not sack them. They resigned, and when president mediated, they decided to cpome back-is that not weak enough on the part of the governor, Can anybody do that to Wike.
Fubara has never said WIke did not help him become governor, he always maintained that God used him but he will not hand Rivers money to be misappropriated by someone else when the person will not be the one to answer for it. Okowa made appointments, YES are those appointees not working in line with the program of the governor they are working for? To make appointments is not the issue.

The chief judge of the state will be tormented during this period, he wants to keep starving the people of Rivers state of funds so they can come against the governor, he wants the governor to crawl back to him, so he can give him conditions and continue to rule him again.

At this point, I will advice Fubara to approach the courts again, at least to get them to pass the budget

Yes the 13% will not be the worst figure out there when we see the budget perfomance report at the end of the fiscal year. I wish our 13% is used to service debt that was spent on productive venture like other serious nations do.
I am only afraid at what we spend on in Nigeria. We are servicing wastage. And like i said while i cant blame the current administration for the current debt they are servicing, they have also not slowed down in borrowing to fund excessive cost of governance- looks like what we cant blame them for now, we will blame them for it down the road.

If I get my calculations right, that is 7.356 trillion naira. Nigeria's budget last year was 35 trillion naira, let's even go by the proposed 54 trillion naira for the current year. Almost 13% to service debt doesn't sound right to me. This is not to apportion the blame to the people in government right now, (because most likely the majority of the mess was caused by the people before them and debt must be paid). I am just saying 13% of the budget going to debt servicing is bad. Meanwhile the figure mentioned here here may not be accurate, I have seen other figures and it is actually about 16% to service debt. Whatever the case, 13% or 16%, not a good one. The most important thing for now let's wait to see if they can even generate the proposed 54.9trillion they are talking about, because what they've been doing in the past is to borrow for what they cannot generate
