In Nigeria, everything is tainted by ethnic bias. The #EndSARS protests, initiated, championed, and executed by Lagosians across Lagos and the southern regions, were no exception. What began as a movement led by Yoruba celebrities was later twisted into a supposed Igbo conspiracy to destroy Lagos. Even something as fundamental as voting has been poisoned by small-minded tribalism. The Lagos State governorship election became another battleground, framed as an Igbo scheme to seize control of the state through Gbadebo.

The only thing that has no ethnic colours are when hard working igbo men and women take their hard earned resources as tithes, seeds ,offerings , pledges in yoruba churches

You're deflecting. Tinubu rigging election was done by him and his supporters. Tinubu has actual voters who mandated him. Nzeogwu wasnt even know in the East before the coup. He had zero votes and zero mandate and as such represented nobody.

The reason why we say its not an Igbo coup is not because Nzeogwu is from Delta State, its because nobody voted for him. The generality of Igbos did not meet somewhere and decided to carry out a coup then sent Nzeogwu. Those military boys of about 30yrs old acted on their own.
