- And about 35%. Well UK embassy apparently operates a global cost allocation model assigned to different tiers/classification of their visa categories. An this model is even an advantage to Nigerian applicants because I can imagine that if they will segment and allocate cost based on realities in different countries, Nigerians will not pay just 35% increase when cost of running the organization in Nigeria has probably increased by so much more than 35%

to the people complaining that the increase is high, it is a choice, not like success of sustainability of life depends on studying in UK. Ofcourse their administrative costs have increased, the cost of technology maintenance and security have increased, there is inflation and the salary of their staff will have to increase(if it has not increased already). Who will pay for all these necessary increased costs, the UK tax payers or govt? or you that they are rendering the service to.
