I have a job of 180k naira per month. Lately i've been obsessing about the idea of moving abroad and getting a foreign masters, and settling there. I can't seem to get his idea out of my head, its like nothing matters again. I just hope i'm not making a mistake. |
Thnx man, you're 2 much! |
@cutestan450, i asked a question earlier but was not properly enligtened. I am very interested in the masters prog in finland, i am currently working a job and earning about 180k naira monthly and i intend to build my savings up and also sell my car, in total i can raise about 2million for living expenses before travelling. I will like to know like how long it'll take me to get a job there and whether i will be able to sustain myself and renew my 2nd year permit while there with what i make from such jobs. |
@ dahonestboss, I just wanna know. I'm planning to go for a masters in public health in d university of eastern finland next year. I can raise the living expenses(6720p£) for the first year by allowing my savings to build up but is it feasible to save dat amount over a year by doing the menial Jobs in finland to process my 2nd year resident permit? Because if i'm leaving Nigeria, i'll have to resign from my job and I don't have any ther financial backup. Lastly, do I need to notorize my documents cos I went to their website and they didn't say anything like that. |
I heard about th MoU that was signed by the president about visa waiver, does dat mean we don't need to apply for a visa anymore? |
aspabay: N6,000,000.00 hmmm, I wanna be a spy.Are you out of secondary school? If yes, what was your grade in mathematics? |
Loskee: Tunaprex, shey u r a doc? Eyaah... Me I'm in a comprehensive health center. And I'm soooo flexing my leave. If I want, I fit show help them with some patients. They understand with me here and they have been really appreciative of the efforts I have put in so far. Yes I'm not paid as I should either because they claim the lga is poor, but I thank God all the same that nobody is giving me headache. Shikena. Where r u serving?in kd |
The MD of my PPA thinks its too early for me to pass out. I informed him about 2 weeks ago that all batch B corp members will pass out on 6th of June and also told him about the terminal leave. He blurted out saying he has not received any notification from NYSC as per date of passing out that I have to bring a letter from NYSC and if I go on leave he won't pay me for days i didn't work for. That was it, no congratulatory speech like a normal employer should do, no questions about future plans. Its a private establishment and I'm the only corper there, infact after I redeployed to the state, i mistakingly struggled to fix myself there hoping they'd treat me well cos of the promises the MD made. I am being poorly paid (as per corper standard) but despite that, I gave my best while working there, similar job description & work schedule as their regular staff who sometimes relax just 'cos there's a workaholic corper ready to do it all. I never had any issues with any of the staff. They are not happy that I'm passing out so soon, they're enjoying the cheap labour. Now that I'm about leaving, I feel exploited. My only consolation is that there's a bright future ahead of me, many great opportunities to tap into. I'm so done with NYSC, thank God! |

Hey Loskee! Am chilling in K.D. I think am gonna stay behind when I pass out, @ least till I start my residency! Hope yu're good. Hi y'all batch B pple, Na we be senior corpers now o! |
Siena: Bro, are we meant to guess what car you're referring to here?2005 toyota matrix xr 4wd. It was the passenger's side airbag that blew out. |
I had an accident today and my right side airbag got blown out! No much damage to the body. I don't know what to do now. Can it be fixed or do I have to replace it? Please I'll be traveling back to my base(kaduna) in a few days, I'm in lagos right now. Where in lagos can it be done and please, an idea of the cost implication. |
