Properties / Re: What Are The Things To Look Out For When Buying Estate Land by tunbebes(f): 9:42pm On May 06, 2016
Favored4gud:
Agbowa is a place springing up. Lands are cheap now and its a good time to buy for the unknow future.
In regards to estates I am not certain about their programs and all. Always make sure to ask lots of questions n read fine print before you part with your hard earned cash.

I bought some lands in Ota Ikosi not far from Agbowa and didnt have to go through all the C of O thing. I would advise to research more. Cos those so called estate ppl are out to make money. So they come up with all kinds of stuff.

Yoyr friend can get their own surveyor to come do the work n negotiate. They charge 100k per plot. Did mine in 2015. So look for one, unless the estate as usual would not allow n want to use their's to make money.

Building in lagos can be crazy cos of the undocumented and unnecessary process one has to go through.
Also if your friend can, find land outside an estate or read all fine prints of the estate n be sure he or she agrees to the terms. Hope this helps a lil.

Thanks a bunch. Please, what are the things or documents I need to take to Alausa in other to verify if a land is genuine or not? Please. Thanks

Please,I need your advice. A friend of mine is about to buy a land In Agbowa, Ikorodu, tomorrow.

The estate surveyor incharge said the land has no C of O cos it's a Virgin land and it goes for 250k per plot. He said my friend will Have to pay 200k to get a survey plan (for 2 plots) in his name and later get a C of O. Please,is this a good deal?

Please, how do I verify if the land is genuine? I know of town planning authority but can I go elsewhere to verify + how do I go about it? ThNks

That interviewer said that there's a rumour that Omawumi smokes.

My question is: who amongst us here had heard that 'rumour' before this interview?

The truth of the matter is that there was no rumour except the one the journalist was hoping to start.

These journalists can be very mean sometimes.

I've heard it and I don't think it's a rumour. She smokes but it's possible marriage has changed he'd her sha.

This guy did justice to the movie DR OYENUSI, Oyenusi was a notorious and arrogant
armed robber in the 70's.

I don't know why you guys are calling yoruba actors yorubawood or yollywood, some of them are doing well in the industry and they are well known. Some of the English movies are a disgrace to nollywood sef, they make no sense.

This guy is good and he is well known.
