Good day nairalanders, It is imperative I make my plight known to the members of this esteemed forum as I have resulted, with high optimism that I'll get a positive outcome this time around. Prior to this post, I made a thread pleading and stating my readiness to be employed or get connected by willing good hearted Nigerians but all my efforts proved abortive. Some advised I send my CV to a given email address but nothing was done. I finished my NYSC program last year November and I've since been trying my best to make a living from menial jobs. I have applied to different coys, expending money on transportation, printing, photocopying and the rest...still nothing. However, It is quite appalling and unfortunate that most private schools I applied to are willing to pay less than my NYSC monthly stipend which could barely suffice my transportation and feeding for a month( I live at Abeokuta in Ogun state). I know I owe nobody any favor but I'm of certainty that Nairalanders can help me as they have helped thousands of people on this forum. I am a graduate of biochemistry (CGPA 4.60) from Olabisi Onabanjo University. I have a year experience as the branch operations manager of a company that deals with sales of mechanical tools and building materials before going for my NYSC. With the full knowledge of the risks embedded in my discipline (biochemistry), I enrolled in a 4 week safety, health and environment professional course with the UK SHE organisation to learn how to maintain a safe environment while at work. I also have laboratory experience as an intern in a hospital. I have strong analytical skills and unparalleled team spirit. I am able to hew to any work ethics; I am energetic and detail oriented. I horned my strong oral and written communication skills through article writing and public speaking. I am not really a computer savvy but I am conversant with Microsoft Packages (word, power point, excel) and photo editing. I just need a chance to prove my qualification and engage my skills in accordance with the cores and values of any willing organisation. Please, I am open to opportunities and willing to relocate if need be. My contacts are: 08164498846 olaleyeomotunde@gmail.com Thank you as you drop your comments and suggestions. |

Reminder |
Has anyone heard of the company with the name "jagsol healthcare nigeria ltd" ? Please I have an interview with them but I need to verify their legitimacy. |
Gerrard59:I will do just that. Thanks bro. |
Hi..I am interested. |
lereinter:Thanks bro. |
jaychubi:Bro, I've been faced with this same question and I always reply with this.." Nigeria education system is like a Computer system. it can only give out result as "output" what you put in as "input". I read about a Nigerian who produces drones for the US army. Assuming the guy went to a Nigerian school, I don't think he would be able to couple a blade not to talk of making an invaluable, giant, functional, drone on which a whole nation depends on for its security operations. Let's not be too swift in castigating first class graduates. If cramming is that easy, then we won't have second class grads. If their mind could cram a whole textbook given my a lecturer, then imagine what that same mind would achieve when engaged in practical approaches/ principles of an innovation with functioning equipments, state of the art facilities, and conducive learning atmosphere. yeah..not forgetting guided by excellent lecturers not complacent, adamant, exploitative lecturers. I hope we will reach a consensus on this without animosity. |
lereinter:Yoruba adage says.." A person that pours water ahead will walk on wet floor" So, I am clearing the way for people who have the capacity to help do so. And I am certain God will do it before Nov 2. |
baum1:Bro I am telling you...C'est ne pas easy..lol. I am not saying I am the best but I am glad I achieved my goal despite several discouragement from people. To say the truth, I pursued a first class to augment my chances of getting scholarships to study abroad. I've always wanted to experience more of science. So, Job and scholarship are the main items of my list. |
