garfield1: Guy,try and recover from this loss before its too late.minus the results from those 13 units or add it to atiku and lets see the winner. That is not what the petition wants to prove. It meant to establish that data including results were transmitted to inec server. QED the validity of Transmitted data is all that will deliver a knockout blow to inec. |

netpro: Funny PDP people. The PO said it was during training. So, did it happen during the main election? That is the question.
Here is what happened: Atiku and his gang had it all planed until the Electoral bill failed and Electronic Transmission of Result fell flat.
Sai Baba - the man is a genius. Did you read the whole post or is it comprehension that is the problem? They transmitted results to inec server! |

No, America is the number one nation in the world and most times the executive (president) and Congress do belong to different parties. Current Trump is republican and Pelosi (speaker) is democrat. Contestation is the beauty of democracy! |

If you are an opposition you are an ingredient of democracy but it doesn't make you madness to always happy or wish for bad thing in your country and if you know you are not a Nigerian plan an exit to where you belong to. We don't need a rubber stamp NASS. Buhari already an apparent dictator can't have a yes-men legislature given the emasculation of judiciary. The good news is the members of NASS know what is at stake. |

Gbengaolowe32: Its so sad majority of our political representatives forget so quick the time and effort put in by masses who vote them in to power. They are thier for their selfish interest and not for the masses that vote them inn to the power. Goje should know that the opposition will want to use him to cause confusion in APC and he should there for sacrifies his ambition of been a Senate President this time. Goje will end up Sarakilically If he is not good enuff why did apc field him as senator in the first instance. Abegi let Oshiomoole and tinubu take a chill, only NASS members will decide their leaders. I Pray for our democracy that Lawan and Gbaja are defeated. |

buhariguy: the funny part is that thief atiku never claim to be from sokoto and jigawa since 1961, but suddenly he arrange some fake parents from sokoto and jigawa, There is nothing funny about it. The hausa/fulani of jos north and Wase claim plateau but, if push comes to shove they know where their parents came from. The only funny thing is, how suddenly Atiku's origin is buhari/apc ace in defending its so called mandate? |
Politics › Re: I’m Nigerian By Birth, Says Atiku- PUNCH by tuniski: 8:35am On Apr 22, 2019 |
Patrioticman007: Finally Atiku has technically accepted defeat by claiming his parents migrated from wurno in Sokoto state to Jada in Cameroon, before Nigeria's independence. Which still makes him a Cameroonian because his parents participated in the Referendum as such they have proven to be Cameroonians as against the country of their birth. The fact is will Nigerians accept an alien from Ghana or Togo to be our President, just because he is rich & used his wealth to buy PDP ticket ?. Adamawa state indigenes would sue the impostor for claiming Adamawa, while Sokoto people will deny him before he starts corrupting their political economy. Which still makes him a Cameroonian. We’ve noted Anayo’s comment for appropriate response. We shall respond appropriately when the time is right. Those in the habit of shouting that Yorubas always betray the south should also take note. We are taking note of the “southern” solidarity that Gbajabiamila is enjoying. Gbaja must be rejected same as lawan to maintain the independence of NASS. Civilian dictatorship must be resisted. Southern solidarity ko tinubu's anointing ni! |

Anyways this back and forth clearly shows We nigerians know the problem some even know the solutions, however after talking about it on media we continue with our lives. If kperogi had squezed himself into if not presidency, but a political Governance structure same with sowore , oby, moghalu , and others maybe at local or state drastic reformation would happen. But if we just talk the talk without walking the walk then its thrash. Comedian political first timer just won ukranian incubent. If he was only wailing online that couldnt have happened. People are taking positive actions at different levels as individuals while many more are production line of the exploding population that are only useful during Elections and riots! |
Politics › Re: Atiku’s Citizenship And Buhari’s Illiterate Lawyers By Prof. Farooq Kperogi by tuniski: 8:48pm On Apr 21, 2019 |
iammo: Then people should stop Wailing and complaining and start acting. Obasanjo regime as an head of state decreed free education and collected many missionary schools to offer free education nationwide while crude oil revenue pays their teachers and critical infrastructure class bench etc. Dont we still have millions of people who didn't make.use of it?
Jonathan also went a step further in introducing almajiri schools with same oil revenue, did it yeild anything, are the reformed nigerdelta militants trained freely in all university with monthly stipends not back into piracy and bunkering?
Buhari came unboard with free feeding nothing still changed
Yet Qatar,Saudi,UAE have some of the most educated youths worldwide
So my question is it social commentators we need or more vissionary leaders that can turn a bad situation into a good one. If kperogi is sure of his thesis and theory let him pick up a form. Free or paid education ain't the problem or solution in isolation. Artisans ain't your regular educated people but are human capital with immeasurable contributions. The exploding population of people who ain't human Capital is a vicious cycle from irresponsible parents via pervasive cultural and religious bigotry! If we don't control our population we will continue to move at snail speed! |

iammo: Compare that to Nigerian huge gas reserve, UAE cant even grow their own food they export even sand for horticulture, they dont have betumen, or conduicive weather like us as it only rains few days a year, they face sand storm. Yet they never complain like little bitchees Maktoum followed his dad just once to uk and vowed to receprocate what he saw. With lack of fund he personally went camp in hand to beg each and every country Obasanjo refused to cash in on project dubai but atiku cashed in big time and he a many politicians are cashing out.
Give okowa's ibori's Wike's Dickson's federal allocation to a Dubai sheik and watch him turnaround SouthSouth with ideas , asian cheap labour and western technogy while his people leave like kings
Even Emirate airline started by leasing just a single aircraft yet vissionless nigerians only wail and lament without thinking outside the box.
Uae left their old poor homes intact in the desert as a reminder of what they where few years back with oil money without vissionary leaders.
I still stand on my point Nigeria dont need talkative social commentators we need action men who are vissionary. No matter what you say 200m people depending on same Amount under 10m people earn the difference will be clear. Just like Libya with 7m people earning massive oil money even with Gaddafi's massive looting progress was still made. Stop comparing us with tiny countries. |

When i read all the replies have got it don on me why majority would continue to leave poor, we talk too much without valueble action What is the population of UAE then compare that to nigeria. MetaPhysical: Lol.. I think you got things mixed up. There are two impacts to him.
1. His position as CJN is an appointment. He can resign from that no problem. If he resigns as CJN he can return to sitting as a Justice of the Supreme Court until he retires and draw his retirement benefits.
2. His career as a lawyer is also on the line and CCT has ruled to sack him from public service. This means his legal career has ended and because he was involutarily terminated he is not entitled to get any service benefit.
The plead is for "dictator Buhari" to dictate against the constitution and allow "our son" to take early retirement so he can get benefits and service honor.
You cretins opened all kinds of threads in nairaland to abuse Buhari and also abuse SW calling Yoruba betrayers because we refuse to support your embezzling son.
Now you are on knees begging dictator to act and violate constitution. What an @ss--le you all are. We are justified for mocking your humility and lack of shame. Suck it up! The case is on appeal why are you sounding like it is final. Let the trial run it full course before talking all these. Right now it is uncalled for. |

If im ever under EFCC scrutiny my first action will be to buy center page in major newspapers and put an Ad in bold "SE, THANKS, I CAN MANAGE THIS TRIAL ALONE".
Otherwise they will hijack ownership of the case and get me locked up as we see with Onnoghen, poor man, he wnt along ad danced to their tunes. At one point they even told him to defy court and not show up for a Court summons....and he sure failed to show up. Now they are begging... Hehehehehe you make it look like Onneghen is a minor or some slowpoke, that cant decide for/by himself or was acting on behalf of SS/SE on a journey that was purely career trajectory.
