seacoast: ![]() Everyone has a heart irrespective of religious affiliation. So just say a good heart and case closed! N.B. I have met Christains with good hearts and Muslims with good hearts too. |
Religious extremism must be curbed in this country. Is there a government in Kano? What about the Emir? Law enforcement agencies? How can people just kill a woman? In this age? and no fair trial? No confirmation that she's even guilty? And a new question is; guilty of what? We need social media to put an end to this melancholy in our society. The North have always give Islam a bad name. |
seacoast:There's nothing like a Christain heart! Even the bible confirms the heart of man is wicked. It takes the grace of God for one to be righteous. There are good and bad people in every religion or race. |
frinx:He will meet his Lord as Muslim and be rewarded for submitting to Allah alone. I pray to also die as a Muslim. Amin! |
9inches:AND FROM THE BIBLE; Mathew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Leviticus 24:16 Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death. |
I am glad he died as a Muslim. |
ayzTIGER:Enjoy the beauty of nairaland! In the real world you will address me as "Sir" and call yourself a "Zombie". |
VulgarVulvas:The use of "Your Buhari" is a turn off for me to even engage you. However, let me point out that in order to get it right, some mistakes will happen, we will experience some pains, just like the challenges we are facing now. But the end justifies the means. Buhari isn't perfect, we all know that. At this point we need all the positivity, constructive criticism, prayers and ultimately, positive contribution in our immediate environment. Remember, there's no leadership without followership and vice versa. Stay strong! |
ayzTIGER:And when they campaigned, did you vote for them hoping for magic? |
Amanwulu1:You can do better without using abusive words. Since Nigerians waited 6years for President Jonathan to transform Nigeria, they have to wait for President Buhari to "Change" Nigeria, atleast for the first 4 years. Let me help you with some quotable quotes; >Nothing good comes easy >No pain no gain >Rome was not built in a day >A day old child don't walk My friend, cool temper! I know times are hard but we need to be optimistic. Cheers and Stay positive. |
iflywithbuhari:So nairaland should be closed because of too many childish comments like yours on front/first page. |
Lilimax:Olodo! Don't be too quick to discredit information you know nothing about. I have lived in Jos and know the OP is not lying. |
Congrats to Nigeria in advance. |
Front page desktop Username: lalastica Old Password: snake, Tonto, New Password: Tiwa, Teebliz Op, you should have made more research to give details about the event. Thanks for sharing anyway. SOME DETAILS (Not sure if it represents the pix) Denis Hills, a British writer, lecturer and adventurer once sentenced to death by Idi Amin for describing the Ugandan dictator as a "black Nero" and "village tyrant," has died. He was 90. Hills died April 26 in Richmond, England, of natural causes. He was teaching at Makerere University in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, when Amin seized power in 1971. Appalled by Amin's butchery, Hills made the remarks in the manuscript of his 1975 book "The White Pumpkin." Outraged, Amin arrested Hills, tried him for espionage and sedition and condemned him to death. Amin used Hills' imprisonment to make Britain "kneel at his feet." Two British envoys who brought an appeal from Queen Elizabeth II to spare Hills' life were forced to crawl on their knees through a low entrance to a hut where Amin received them. The day before Hills was to be shot, Amin freed him in exchange for an apology and retraction of the remarks. http://articles.latimes.com/2004/may/03/local/me-hills3 |
Word and opposite: PDP ------APC Oya gullible nairaland detectives, start the blame game. To the wailers, it can only be APC. ![]() |
I think it's high time bloggers and site owners started to champion this campaign. This abnormality has been with us for a long time and makes us look so uncivilized and barbaric. I have been living in the US for a while now and never heard a military officer maltreated a civilian yet they are well respected in the society. The problem is that it doesn't leave anyone out, even policemen sometimes enjoy the military "baptism". Where is the common sense senator Bruce? We need your voice at the floor of the senate. Where are the military chiefs? Your boys are bullies! Show us scapegoats!! Say NO to military brutality!!! |
nairalanddotorg:A medical consultant can also be a professor. Your question isn't clear. What do you mean by entry level for a professor? Or do you mean a lecturer at entry level and when he eventually becomes a professor and a medical officer at entry level and when he becomes a medical consultant? Can you reframe it so that you could get better response from Nairalanders. |
Hilarious!

seunaj:^^^ One of the poisoned fish with a smaller fish brain has escaped to nairaland. WARNING Beware! Don't get poisoned with incurable religious intolerance, bigotry and sentimental madness. Be positive! Love thy neighbors!! Preach religion with love, compassion and character. |
Ecoterrorist:This statement is totally uncalled for, reset your reasoning center back to default and stop using emotions. |
olapluto:Thank you so much |
ChoCandyDiamond:To you and your gullible likes, you have spoken intelligently but to the reasonable ones, you have only exhibited shallow religious understanding and bigotry. |
