While reading through the thread above, I could see some people were curious if and if the Notorious Shina Rambo has been prosecuted or not. Which prompt me to Google search his name.
Here is his true life story and for the records he has served his jail term

Shina Rambo (born c. 1963) is a former bandit
who terrorised South-West Nigeria in the
1990s. After serving jail-time for his crimes,
he was converted by an evangelist and
became a Christian evangelical pastor .Shina
Rambo now Mathew Oluwanifemi was a name
that sent shivers down the spine of people
who lived in the South West of Nigeria and
even outside Nigeria, like Benin Republic and
neighborhood, in the 1990s.

He was a hardened criminal, a terror and
killer, one whom men of the security agencies
will never forget in a haste.
A man mountain, towering about 6 ft 5inch,
well built, dark skinned and sweltering eyes,
he carried out his operations, like a movie, in
the broad day light, with sophisticated
weapons, and bullet belts and explosives
strapped roundabout him.
He specialized in robbing exotic cars on
highways and banks. Nothing could stop him,
not even security operatives, he was totally
invincible. He was Shina Rambo! He was born
in the year 1958 to a military man who was a
bad egg in the service. His father was from
Abeokuta in Ogun state, but his mother was a
native of Sabongida–Ora in Edo state.
His father had over 18 wives, as was the
norm for soldiers to impregnate virtually every
woman they met where they were posted
to. His father used his military influence to rob
innocent citizens, and always brought huge
amount of money home.
This used to entice little Shina. He recalls, “I
remembered when I was about 7 years old, my
father came home with a lot of money,
foreign currencies, with blood on it, and they
were using something like a woman’s scarf to
wipe it, then I asked him, is this an animal’s
blood, or human blood? But he wouldn’t
answer me, they were just drinking, smoking,
and merry making.
”Shina was already indoctrinated into the
underworld by his father at a tender age of 7
without him knowing it, as he would sit in
front of his son, to dismantle and assemble all
sorts of weapons and then polishing them in
preparation for an operation. This went on for
so long till one day, little Shina, entered into
his father’s room while he had stepped into
the toilet, and saw a dismembered gun on the
floor.
He sat down in front of it, and bit by bit, he
had assembled it effortlessly in no time at all.
His father came out of the toilet, and saw his
son, with a loaded gun in his hands. Shina
flashed back and said, “That day my father
was so disappointed, that he wanted to kill
me, he grabbed the gun from my hand and
shot straight at me, but I miraculously
escaped out of the room. Then he waited for
me to be less alert at night he came to my
room with a machete and tried to behead me,
but once again, I escaped, but the machete
caught my left leg. (rolled up his trouser to
show us the large scar, that made everyone
sighed in pity).
It cut me so deep I thought I was never going
to walk again. That day I knew I had
graduated, all that was left was to pull the
trigger, and I was so eager. Shina Rambo
became so notorious in no time, and was hell
bent on succeeding in his career as an armed
robber, that he went through any length to
secure spiritual powers for fortification.
To the extent of pounding over 27 live new
born babies in the mortar with a pestle,
cutting off about 100 human tongues and
cooking them to eat, visiting the spiritual river
called river of life in Ogoja, Cross Rivers State,
living in an Iroko tree for days, and sleéping in
the cemetery.
He was given a spiritual wife who always
followed him for any operation, she dressed
like an Alhaja, people thought she was human,
but she was a spirit, that was why they never
saw her face.
He said she was his personal driver, that she
could drive from Nigeria to Cotonou, in the
speed of light.
Hear him. ”I was involved in so many rituals,
that I can’t start naming them now, I was so
powerful, I went underground, inside trees that
looked like a city, a lot of beautiful houses
inside the tree, I had my own too, I went into
a river called River of life in Ogoja, where a lot
of politicians and wealthy men used to come,
I had several personalities, I could change my
form whenever I wanted to, that’s why the
police were busy killing innocent people, and
thought they were killing Shina Rambo.
The 9 herbalists that gave me that power, I
became stronger than them, one day I went to
their shrines, and killed all of them, so that
they don’t reveal my secrets. I had too many
powers; my spiritual wife could drive any car
in this world or out of it, no police vehicle, or
anyone for that matter, could ever chase and
catch me during an operation.
She was out of this world, and when she had
completed her operation, they took her away
from me. I could give anything to get powers,
and the elders knew, so they also gave me
anything I wanted.
I once beheaded hundred
men, and gave them the heads fresh, they
were so happy with me that they made me
invincible.

No matter the kind of bullet you shot at me, it
was just like pure water on my body. I could
give anything to get power, but of all the
things I did to get power, the one that still
breaks my heart the most, is sléeping with my
mother. My father is dead now, but my mother
is still alive, and she lives with me she is 85
years old, whenever I set my eyes on her, I
just start crying.
I can`t bear it. Shina Rambo was a raging
terror, he was infallibly dangerous, the police
dreaded him, both in Nigeria, and Benin
Republic, his place of interest for business.
He would go to police stations, in broad
daylight and kill every policeman there, drive
to check points and open fire on every
policeman on duty, he didn’t like the police at
all, and was never afraid of them, he operated
in broad day light armed to the teeth looking
like Johny Rambo, in the popular Sylvester
Stalone movie, “First Blood”.
He once robbed 40 exotic cars in one day and
drove all of them in a convoy, from Lagos to
Cotonou, unstopped. He was powerful; he was
wealthy, and impenetrable. He was a tin god,
apparently belched from the very arroyo hell,
we all dreaded him. He had a wife and three
children, but he lost all of them in one day
during a bloody police raid whilst he was away
on operation.
His wife was his stabilizing factor his life
changed afterwards. He says “my wife was
everything to me,
I was forbidden by the elders to sléep with
any other woman apart from her, I could
gather about 50 women around me in a hotel,
and they will just be playing with me, we
would smoke, drink, and sniff cocaine, I will
give them money but I will never sleép with
them. I will go back home to my wife and
sleép with her. That was why the police never
caught me. She knew my job, she knew what I
was, I never left them alone at night, I
operated in the day time and go back home to
my family at night.
I had everything, I was very wealthy, I once
spent 50 million naira in a day. I did it a lot,
there was one day that we were coming from
an operation and it seemed as if my powers
were going to fail me, the police and the army
were almost closing in on us, so we had to
drive into a crowd and threw millions of naira
in the air, there was commotion, everybody
was busy picking naira notes even the police,
until we escaped.
I was too rich, but anything the devil gives
you never lasts, he will collect more from you,
it’s only the devil that will give you Fila, (cap)
and ask for Iro and Buba.(wrapper and top). I
lost everything, all the money, my family; I
was so powerful the police couldn’t catch me
but I lost it all.I had to surrender myself to
the police, and I was arrested and jailed for 11
years.
When I was serving my jail term in Agodi
prisons, Ibadan, Prophet T.O Obadare came
visiting, and having been encouraged several
times by the Christian brothers and sisters in
the prison to give my life to Christ, he prayed
for me and converted me, and changed my
name to Oluwanifemi, and it was so
miraculous, the next day I woke up and
started speaking in tongues. It was during the
time of President Olusegun Obasanjo, that we
were granted freedom.

I hope the police are not trying to cover up for the policeman that ran over the ridershuh

As far as am concerned a thief/criminal would never carried an identity card during operation. If and if that's what they were trying to tell us.

So sad. May their souls rest in peace.
CrimePoliceman Crushes Riders On Lagos Third Mainland Bridge (Graphic Picture) by Tuntheycr7(op):
Two riders on a motorcycle with number plate, KJA405QO, were crushed to
death by a vehicle driven by a policeman on the Third Mainland Bridge on
Wednesday.
Our correspondent, who visited the scene, learnt that the deceased riders were
riding against the traffic inwards Lagos Island when they were crushed to
death.
A traffic official, who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity,
said the deceased riders rode along with others in a convoy.
He said, “I was at Oworonshoki when I saw about four motorcycles driving
against traffic inwards Lagos Island.
“They drove against the traffic on the Third Mainland Bridge for reasons still
unknown.
“When they got to the bridge, one of the motorcycles, which had two persons,
was knocked down by a wine-coloured Toyota Picnic with number plate,
BDG60CL.
“The two guys on the bike died on the spot, while their colleagues fled.”
The policeman who also sustained minor injuries said he tried to avoid the men
riding against the traffic, but the riders were on top speed.
The incident expectedly caused a traffic snarl from the bridge to Adeniji-Adele
bus stop as motorists slowed down to take pictures of the corpses.
Officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and policemen
attached to the Rapid Response Squad and the Adekunle division were seen
controlling the traffic.
Upon searching the victims, a pair of scissors and a national identity card were
found on one of the victims, whose hand had been severed from the body.
A policeman, who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity,
wondered why the victims rode against the traffic when both sides of the road
were relatively free.
He said, “I really do not understand why four motorcyclists would be moving in
a convoy and riding against the traffic when the legitimate side of the road is
free. Even their motorcycles did not meet the Lagos State standard.
“Why did their colleagues flee after the accident? We will find out more after our
investigation.”
LASTMA spokesperson, Mrs. Bola Ajao, said she would call our correspondent
back, but had yet to do so as of press time.
The Lagos State Police spokesman, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident.
He said, “The information at our disposal is that the two men were on a
motorcycle and were driving against traffic when they rammed into an incoming
vehicle. The two of them died on the spot. One of them has already been
identified.
“Their corpses have been deposited at a morgue.”

PoliticsConfusion As Cables Electrocute Electricity Worker In Lagos by Tuntheycr7(op): 2:17am On Apr 21, 2015
A yet-to-be-identified man was electrocuted
when the cables on a pole he mounted on
Sunday triggered electrical sparks.
Many passersby and residents of Omolara
Street, off the Yakoyo area of Ojodu, Lagos,
scampered to safety as the man was gripped by
the electrical surge.
He was said to be replacing old cables with new
ones on the street when the incident occurred
at about 4.50pm.
Our correspondent, who was at the scene, saw
one of his colleagues climbing the ladder to
rescue the victim, who was immediately taken
to a nearby hospital.
Many of those who witnessed the incident
expressed hope that the hospital would save
him.
A resident of the area, Mr. Sebastine Ilogwu,
said electrical works on some newly fixed poles
within the neighbourhood started seven days
earlier.
He added that the man was about completing
the fixing of some cables on one of the poles
when electricity was restored.
Ilogwu said, “The degree of the electrical shock
was intense.
“We can only hope that God will spare his life.
It is a sad development because he was
actually carrying out a legitimate duty.”
Another resident, who gave her name as Mrs.
Biobaku, stated that the area had been in
darkness for about three weeks.
She said, “Workers of the electricity distribution
firm for this area came last week Monday to
change the cables after mounting new poles.
“I pray that the man survives. The electric
shock was too much.”
Many of the residents later gathered in groups
to discuss the incident.
The ladder painted in red hue, which the man
mounted, was later removed by some of his
colleagues.

Politics(XENOPHOBIA) Nigerians Protest At MTN, Multichoice, Shoprite Offices, Outlets by Tuntheycr7(op): 2:05am On Apr 21, 2015
Hundreds of Nigerian protesters on Monday
stormed the offices of South African companies
in Abuja and Benin City, Edo State, to protest
the ongoing xenophobic attacks on foreigners,
especially Nigerians, in South Africa.
In Abuja, the protesters, led by media
personality and President of the Berekete
Family, Ahmad Isah, marched to the regional
headquarters of MTN Nigeria Communications
Limited in Maitama, as well as Shoprite and
Multichoice, owners of DSTV.
At MTN, the protesters, who carried placards
with various inscriptions condemning the attacks
on Nigerians and their businesses in South
Africa, were joined by Nigerians in the area
where the office is located.
One of our correspondents learnt that a senior
official of MTN whose identity was not known,
addressed the crowd of protesters who wore
yellow T-shirts, the traditional colour of the
South African telecommunications company.
The official reportedly told the protesters that
the company was not in support of the attacks
on Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa.
He also told them that the MTN operation in the
country was MTN Nigeria and that the company
only has a few South Africans working in the
country.
When our correspondent visited the Maitama
office of the company, policemen in a patrol
vehicle were seen stationed just across the
telecommunication firm’s office to forestall
possible breakdown of the peace.
In Benin City, some youth protesters stormed
the MTN office on 3rd East Circular Road,
Muritala Muhammed Way.
The youths, under the aegis of The Flagship,
threatened to shut down South African firms
operating in Nigeria over the attack on Nigerians
in South Africa.
The protesters carried placards with various
inscriptions.
The messages in the placards include,
“Xenophobia is inhuman,” “Zuma call your boys
to order” and “S/Africans can’t be making
money from us, killing us.”
Spokesperson for the group, Austin Enabulele,
described the attacks as inhuman and
condemnable, explaining that the protest was a
warning to the South African government to put
a stop to the attacks on Nigerians or risk losing
its investments in the country.
Enabulele said, “We are all Africans; we wonder
why they should attack our fellow Nigerians who
are doing their legitimate businesses in South
Africa, when we have shown them love to
operate in Nigeria.
“We have come here to say to (President
Jacob) Zuma to call his people to order
because if he fails to call them to order we will
do the needful. We are aware of all their
businesses in Nigeria; we know of MTN, we
know of Shoprite, we know of Multichoice
company, and we know of all the other
companies that belong to South Africa.
“We will shut down all their services, if they
continue the killing of our brothers and sisters.
So, we have come here to tell them to put an
end to the killing of our brothers and sisters
who are doing their legitimate jobs in South
Africa.”
The vice president of the group, Gloria Noren,
decried what she described as the ingratitude of
South Africans, whom she said received
financial support from Nigeria during the
apartheid era.
Noren urged the Federal Government to
commence the immediate evacuation of
Nigerians from South Africa, in order to forestall
further havoc.
She said, “We have videos of Nigerians that
have been killed; I personally watched the
video. How can someone come out to say that
we are taking their jobs from them? What about
the money they are making from us?
“Nigeria spent over N60bn fighting apartheid for
them. Why should we extend love to them and
they extend hatred to us. It is totally inhuman,
distasteful and disgusting.
“We are sending this message to our Nigerian
government to go ahead and evacuate all
Nigerians from South Africa because we cannot
continue to lose our brethren.”
The Nigerian Consul-General in South Africa,
Amb. Uche Ajulu-Okeke, had on Sunday said
that Nigerians had lost more than N21m to the
attacks in South Africa.
Ajulu-Okeke said the loss included looted shops,
burnt shops, two burnt mechanic workshops, 11
burnt cars and two stolen cars, among others.
“Nigerians have compiled the cost of the
damage to their property and it is totalling about
1.2m Rand or N21m, which will be sent to the
Federal Government for further action,” the
ambassador had said.
She said that two of the three Nigerians who
were wounded during the attacks in Durban had
been treated and discharged from the hospital.
The consul-general said that she would go back
to Durban to assess the situation on ground and
meet with the provincial authority on the
security of Nigerians in the province.

Ojuelegba.

Finally, the girl has been rescued.

There was anxiety on Sunday at the Surulere
Baptist Church, Ojuelegba Road, Lagos State
after two unidentified men sneaked into the
church premises and abducted a three-year-old
girl, Oluwabunmi Ajelero.
It was gathered that the girl was playing with
other children on the church premises at about
1pm when the kidnappers came in through the
back of the church and tricked her out with
Gala, a popular sausage, before whisking her
away on a motorcycle.
Our correspondent, however, learnt that the girl,
was rescued in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on
Monday by the police and reunited with her
parents.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Oluwabunmi’s parents
and other members of the church were inside
the church immersed in the service when the
incident happened.
The service, it was learnt, was grounded when
one of the toddler’s playmates alerted the
congregation to the incident.
It was further learnt that the captors had
pretended as members of the church and
established rapport with children in the church.
Our correspondent was told that Oluwabunmi’s
friend cautioned her not to follow the strangers,
who reportedly escaped through Nathan Street.
Speaking with our correspondent at about 8am
on Monday, the victim’s father, Oladapo Ajelero,
said the captors had contacted him on the
phone, telling him to cooperate. He, however,
said they had yet to request any ransom.
He said, “It happened around 1pm on Sunday.
The children finished their service before us and
were playing on the church premises;
Oluwabunmi was among them.
“Suddenly, one of her friends rushed in and said
two men had lured and taken her away through
the back of the church. Some people in the area
said they saw her sitting between two men on a
motorcycle. I learnt they escaped through
Nathan Street.
“Our hearts are broken, we don’t know what to
do anymore. They have called and instructed me
to cooperate. I am still expecting their calls, but
for now they have not asked for any ransom.”
Oladapo explained further that one of his
relatives went to Surulere Police Station to
report, but he was told to come back and make
a formal statement after 24 hours of the girl’s
abduction.
PUNCH Metro who visited the church on Monday
observed some members of the congregation
lamenting the incident.
One of them, who identified herself only as Iya
Tope, said she could not sleep throughout the
night.
“It still appears to me like magic. I could not
sleep. We have been praying over it since
yesterday and I am sure she will come back to
us safely,” she said.
A security guard of the church, Mr. Moses
Oyedeji, said the kidnappers would have been
rounded up if they had entered through the
main entrance.
He said, “I was on duty yesterday, but the
children were playing at the back of the church.
That was why I was not aware of the intrusion.
It was when they had fled that her playmates
said she was lured with Gala.”
A resident of the area, Simon Joseph, said he
saw the girl, but he thought the men had come
to the church for service.
“I was waiting for a friend outside when I saw
those two men with the girl on a motorcycle. I
thought they were family and were going back
home until a few minutes later when people
rushed out from the church and started looking
for the girl,” he said.
A member of the church, who declined to
mention his name, told our correspondent that
they learnt that the girl would be released if the
family paid an undisclosed ransom to the
kidnappers.
The Lagos Police spokesperson, DSP Kenneth
Nwosu, however, said Olawunmi had been
rescued by a police team drawn from divisions
in the state, adding that he was not aware that
the family paid any ransom.
He said, “The child has been found in Abeokuta,
Ogun State and reunited with her parents.
Investigations are ongoing to track down the
kidnappers.”
The father, however, could not be reached for
comments on the phone after the police
confirmed that the girl had been rescued.
Calls made to his line rang out and he had yet
to reply to a text message sent to his number.

HealthBaby, Four Others Die In Lagos Fire Disasters (photo) by Tuntheycr7(op): 10:28am On Apr 20, 2015
A six-month-old baby boy and four other people
lost their lives in two separate fire disasters in
Lagos State on Saturday.
While the baby was burnt to death in the Ipaja
area of the state around 8.30pm after his
mother lit a candle, the other four victims lost
their lives after a commercial bus had a lone
accident in the Iponri area of the state
In the Ipaja incident, the six-month-old baby boy
was said to be asleep on the bed when the
candle lit by his mother and placed on top of
the wardrobe, fell on the mattress, causing a
fire around 9.35pm.
The incident happened in Shagari Estate, Mosan
Okunola, in the Ipaja area of Lagos State.
The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service,
Rasak Fadipe, who blamed the incident on the
carelessness of the baby’s mother, said the
child’s father was away at the time of the
incident.
He said, “The child’s father was not at home
when it happened. It was the mother who lit a
candle , placed it on top of the wardrobe and
forgot it there. The candle burnt out and the
six-months-old baby, which was on the bed, was
burnt to death.
“Lagos residents must stop using candles to
avoid such fire incidents. It is advisable for
them to use rechargeable lamps.”
In the Iponri accident, a commercial bus with
Lagos registration number, AKD 27 XA, and with
nine passengers, burst into flames around
Costain, Iponri area of the state.
While five people were rescued with injuries,
four others were not as fortunate as they were
burnt to death.
An eyewitness, who did not identify himself, told
PUNCH Metro that the vehicle was on top speed
and was descending the Eko Bridge when it hit
a culvert and somersaulted.
He said, “It was around 12 noon. The bus was
coming from the Lagos Island through the Eko
Bridge. It was trying to descend the bridge
inward Costain, but it was on high speed.
“Because of the speed, the driver lost control of
the bus and it hit the culvert. It somersaulted
several times and went up in flames.
“There were nine people in the vehicle. Out of
the nine, five were injured, but four people were
burnt to death.”
It was learnt that the police, officials of the
Lagos State Emergency Service and the Lagos
State Traffic Management Authority, were able
to manage the situation.
While LASAMBUS conveyed the survivors to the
Lagos State General Hospital on the Lagos
Island, LASTMA managed the gridlock that
resulted from the accident.
Policemen from the Iponri division were said to
have taken the corpses to a mortuary.
The spokesperson for LASTMA, Mrs. Bola Ajao,
confirmed the incident, adding that the prompt
response of traffic officials reduced the number
of casualties.
She said, “The vehicle burst into flames about
five minutes after hitting the culvert. Those who
died were the driver, the two passengers sitting
with him in front and one other person sitting on
the front row. They were all trapped
immediately the accident happened and that
was why they could not be rescued.”
The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service
said firemen from the Sari-Iganmu division
arrived the scene with 10,000 litres of water.
Fadipe said, “When we got the alert, we quickly
mobilised our firefighters to the scene of the
incident. But it was unfortunate that the four
passengers could not be saved. People must

CrimeWoman Stabs 10 Years Old Girl In Her Vagina In Lagos (Graphic Picture) by Tuntheycr7(op): 9:57am On Apr 20, 2015
A 10-year-old girl, Chidinma, has been admitted at an undisclosed hospital after a couple – Eucheria Chukwuma and Jerry Oko-Oboh – allegedly beat her up and stabbed her in the private parts with a broken bottle.

It was learnt that the couple and the victim’s family lived on Joshua Street, Agbabiaka, in the Ajangbadi area of Lagos.

It was learnt that the couple assaulted the minor for allegedly fiddling with the vagina of their three-year-old daughter, Peace.

PUNCH Metro gathered that Chidinma, who denied the allegation, had played with Peace at about 7pm on April 6. It was alleged that the toddler later cried and told her parents that Chidinma fiddled with her private parts.

Angered by the complaint, 30-year-old Chukwuma, it was learnt, went to Chidinma’s mother, Ofia, demanding that Chidinma follow her to her room.

A few minutes later, Ofia reportedly heard her daughter screaming and rushed to Chukwuma’s apartment to see what was wrong.

On getting there, the door was said to have been locked by the couple who reportedly beat up the victim repeatedly with punches. Not satisfied, the wife allegedly stabbed Chidinma in the private parts and smeared them with pepper.

Our correspondent was told that the couple fled the neighbourhood when blood started gushing from Chidinma’s vagina. They were later trailed and arrested by the police after the attack was reported at the Okokomaiko Police station.

The police said Chukwuma, in a statement she voluntarily made at the station, confessed to the crime, saying she became furious when the girl declined comments about Peace’s allegation.

She and her husband were subsequently arraigned before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on three counts bordering on assault.

The offence, according to the police prosecutor, Olusoji Ojaokomo, is punishable under sections 171, 243 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

The charges read in part, “That you, Eucheria Chukwuma, 30 and Jerry Oko-Oboh, 32 on April 6, 2015, at about 9pm on Joshua Street, Agbabiaka, Oke-Agbo, Ajangbadi, in the Ojo Magisterial District, did conspire to commit felony and unlawfully assaulted one 10-year-old Chidinma, by beating her up with fist blows in her eye, which caused her harm.

“That you, on the same date, time and place, in the aforementioned magisterial district, did unlawfully assault one Chindima by stabbing her with a broken bottle in her private parts.”

The accused persons, however, pleaded not guilty to the offence.

The presiding magistrate, Mr. P.A. Adekomaya, admitted them to bail in the sum of N100, 000 with a surety each in like sum. He added that they be remanded in prison custody until their bail conditions were perfected.

The case was adjourned till May 13, 2015 for mention.

Some people are wicked and heartless..
Four girls at a gohuh
And if eventually he succeeded in selling those children, he would come back to sympathize with their parents, might even be active in search for those children....

The eediort should be charged with at least nothing less than 10 different counts of crime..

Starting from deceiving the minors by giving false information about their parents, attempts of rape, kidnapping etc.

They should just hang his Joystick and allow is body to swing to and fro like that of pendulum......
