A casual observation of the performances of the governors of the south eastern states will reveal their level of under-performance since 1999. Case point, take Aba which has failed to enjoy any meaningful development since the 1929 Aba women riot. The place is a total mess. What have the governors done with what has been accruing to the state in the last 16 years of democratic rule? The fact that these individuals who have mismanaged fortunes of the state consider themselves fit to even contest election is a slap on the faces of Ndigbo. Ndigbo, [size=16pt]are we cursed[/size]? Honestly speaking i felt really bad seeing the way the igbos were dragging lagos state with their hosts who has given them everything. I just pray that the yorubas will find a place in their heart to forgive them for the sake of peace and the love of God. And hope the igbos have learnt their leasons. Without any fear or favour I make bold to say that the yorubas are [size=16pt]one of[/size] the best and most tolerant ethnic group in nigeria.

Now lemme get this clear.
After Awolowo chickened out of supporting Igbo against Hausa in 1966, we decided to go it alone.
We faced the REST OF NIGERIA for over 3 years.
It was towards d end of the war, that a certain yoruba officer, whose surname ends with '' njo''. Came onto the scene. To take glory.
That was in 1966, when
our illiterate fathers and grandfathers manufactured the OGBUNIGWE with raw materials.
This is 2015.
Trust me, if anyshit happens, The Igbos willl wipe Lagos off the map, and go back to the East.

This inhumane discrimination has been going on for a long time! As long as u are a citizen of Nigeria, u have every right to settle down wherever u want in Nigeria.

we don't discriminate against any tribe in igboland, so why should they? In case they didn't know, igbos also took part in developing Lagos. Igbos are the most hardworking ppl in Nigeria(and I'm not saying that bkus I'm Igbo, its the fvcking truth. just like everybody knows Yorubas like education and parties)

for Pete's sake, we are the same ppl, human beings. just like someone said, tribes are just created to give power, it doesn't differentiate u from others.

Checks and punishment for sexual offenses,coersions and assault are a joke in Nigeria so this is not surprising.
Older women used to advice us never to go into a police station to seek help or protection if we happen to be stranded in an unknown place as whatever we are running from would be waiting for us double fold at the hands of those police men.
